HDFC Bank — pos transaction failed but amount deducted

I as booking my train ticket from the irctc mobile app on 26 august 2019. The amount was deducted and the transaction was not processed further. Whereas the booking failed as well. I have contacted irctc and they asked me to contact you. Please help. You will find two transactions with irctc on said date. Both have failed due to same reason. Please help.

Please note that there are two transactions of ₹4590.49 both of which have failed and the amount got debited from my account.

As on today, the amount has not been claimed by the acquiring bank. In case the acquiring bank does not claim the transaction amount by the 9th day, the amount will be re-credited to your account. In case, you do not find any credit to your account after the above-mentioned time frames (as applicable), we request you to refer to the Dispute process as follows: Kindly fill in the Cardholder Dispute form & the proof that you have attempted to resolve the dispute with the Merchant ( (i.e. Email comm.or letter) and fax it across to us on[protected] to the kind attention of Charge-back Unit mentioning the reference number in the subject line of this e-mail, so that we can initiate a charge-back. Please write back to us at [protected]@hdfcbank.com confirming the date when you have faxed the same, to enable us to confirm its receipt. Please visit the following link for Cardholder Dispute form: http://bit.ly/30IKqgA. Should you be requiring any further information/clarifications on this matter please feel free to write to us.

Hi Zubin, Thanks for the fast response. I contacted the IRCTC team via call and they are saying that the amount is not released by the bank due to failure in card verification. This is the second transaction I am referring to. Can you share any of the contacts where I can speak to a live executive over the phone regarding the issue. All the emails that you are referring to have been redacted in the commend automatically, so I am unable to see it.

Without any information hdfc bank hold my many and they deduted my money 2 Times and they deduted first time Rs.5.80 amd now second time Rs.5.90, still now i did not. Know what is MIREVENUE HOLD THROUGH GEFU, finally i want to know why they deduted and i wants to refund my money.
