Dear sir / madam,

I am saurabh shah a credit card holder of hdfc bank ltd since more than a decade & in my whole tenure with hdfc bank credit cards, i've never ever made any late payment nor been a defaulter with the bank.

I've been harassed & threatened by the agents who are claiming themselves they're from hdfc bank & using abusive languages & talking nonsense with me & my father. Today they have called my father & one of the chap name jayesh he said speak to his manager & the guy who claimed himself he's a manager, was using abusive language & saying to my father "your son i. E. Me, his records are faulty & never ever made any payment on time during the tenure & the loan that i took on credit card basis, is being used for wrong purpose". What kind of harassment is this??? If i'm a wrong person & never ever made any payments on time or i've used money for any wrong activity, than why hdfc bank has upgraded my credit card to regalia credit card & why my credit limit set to around rs. 7-8 lacs??? Why my credit score was above 800, if i am not a regular payer?

Also, as per rbi guidelines, a tele caller / agent shouldn't call any of the customer before 9 am or 9:30 am to 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm but these people have started harassing in the early morning since 7:00 am till 9:00 pm.

My father is a diabetic patient & also he's suffering blood pressure. God forbid if any casualty occurs hdfc bank will be responsible for all the losses.

During my 10 year tenure with hdfc cards, i'm always being a regular payer & paid all the amount before due date, also since last 27 emis i've paid on time but now since i have lost my job along with the loss in business, i don't have stable fixed income with me & being a loyal customer i have speak the truth & requested bank to give me time to get settled again, as i'm starting it again from the start & in response the bank people says if this is the scenario then who has asked to take the loan of rs.4 lac out of which i've paid 27 emis & few are left which i never denied that i'll not pay.

As a honest man, making the dues clear is my priority but along with this, i've to also adjust money for the survival of me & my family.

I sincerely request you to please look into this matter & please give a appropriate solution to this situation of tough time or else with the daily abusive & threatening calls that me & my father is receiving, we may lose our health & any unforeseen circumstances will be occurred, hdfc bank & the whole collection team will be responsible for it.

I've never ever said that i'll not pay the dues, in return i've only requested to give me a solution or time to get myself settled again. If going forward i or my father receive any threatening calls from the hdfc bank or from the collection team who claims they are hdfc bank, i'll proceed with the legal proceedings.

I've also made a complaint to consumer complaints forum regarding this issue & again i'm clearing myself that i've never ever said to the bank that i'll ran away or will not clear the dues but these people are simply harassing me & family member due to which me & my father has already been consulting to the doctor for the medication.

Please help... Me team rbi, being a loyal & a trustworthy customer with the bank for so may years but i've now understood that being loyal & trustworthy doesn't gives any credibility to my profile or nor any appreciation. Very very disappointed with the behavior of the hdfc bank staff.

I have lost my old food plus card and some guys in the hdfc branch informed me that if I apply a new card, the amount can be transferred to new card. Today I received the new food plus card. Please let me know how to transfer the money from old food card to new food card. I am from DLF, chennai.
