HDFC Bank — Unethical Behavior

Have submitted a request on 23rd Feb to HDFC bank that going forward deduct the loans EMI from my HDFC bank account instead of the Axis Bank account as am planning to close it. As per the request have submitted the written letter, cancelled cheque and payslip. And the bank officials said that from April month the EMI would be deducted from my HDFC bank. But now my situation is am not in India, the bank is still trying to reach my Axis bank for the EMI, and its affecting my CIBIL. I tried to reach HDFC and they initially said I did not submit any request at all, when I sent the details of my visit there was no response and I raised a grievance on May 04, 2022 but they keep saying we will get back to you and on June 13, 2022 I got a response that we are not the right department to take care of it will forward it to the correct department. Am not sure whats going on and they gave the reference number 19730610/2011687 but I dont see any way to escalate further. So, escalating in this forum. Hopefully someone sees this and respond.
