[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — using personal social media by hdfc collection department

Hi, i am using hdfc credit card from 2016, i have failed to repay my credit card dues from past 2-3 months from aug 2018 reason cause i have lost my job and i'm currently looking for a new job. After a month of my missed due date few executives kept calling me in different number to my registered mobile number asking me to repay the dues, every time i explained them my situation that i have lost my job, give me some time to repay but no one understood or was ready to understand my concern instead they started harassing me through whatsapp texting me from different numbers and threatening me and abusing me in local language that is kannada.in reply i told them please don't use whatsapp to communicate instead call me to my registered number or email me then i immediately called up the hdfc credit card customer care [protected] and explained, they said me that we are not responsible, kindly contact this number [protected], which i did then a executive told me that this will not repeat again and took all the details of the people who contacted me in whatsapp like there multiple numbers and told me that within evening our bangalore collection head will speak to you but no one contacted me regarding this issue instead the collection executive kept making voice call in whatsapp, saying that tell me where you are now, i'm coming with 4 other people to meet you and more than 4 to 5 people had contacted me saying that i'm hdfc manager from richmond circle branch and i'm dealing your case but non of the executive told me their real names. I always told them that give me some more will repay and always responded to the calls but now the collection executive is saying that we are from collection department so we can use whatsapp and facebook to communicate and come to your address and loot things of which belongs to you and even he said that i will be using these social media as the collection procedure, do whatever you can do. So i am planning to put complaint in consumer court cause i'm worried about my safely and again i contacted hdfc phone banking ([protected]) and raised a complaint on 12 nov 2018 and they told me that we will contact you within 7-10 working dates and in the last week of nov, a lady spoke to me regarding this compliant and i explained everything and shared all the whatsapp phone call number to her and even i told her i want to go for settlement cause i can't take all these anymore and the lady told we would contact you within 48 hours regarding settlement then later nobody contacted me, my complaint number is [protected] and even i mailed hdfc at (Customerservices. [protected]@hdfcbank.com) but they did response saying thank you for writing to us, the calls/visits by collection agents, these are as per our process of recovery of overdues but they never considered about whatsapp calls and texts and i want to know is social media is legal platform to communicate the customers.?
And
In the first week of dec, a collection agent name mahesh (His phone number is [protected]) and asked me regarding monthly pending dues and i told him that i have raised a compliant regarding settlement and waiting for the reply but he didn't understand what i said cause he only knew the local language and he told that evening i will call and my manager will talk to you but that evening he didn't call me and again after 2 days he called and asking for monthly pending dues, then again i explained him and cut the call. Now today 15th dec, that same agent (Mahesh) has gone to my house address and asked for monthly dues, where only my parents live in the house and spoke in the local language cause the agent didn't know english, now after i raised a compliant and ready for the settlement. Why do the collection agent ask for monthly pending dues? What's happening, if this continues then i may have to complaint to banking ombudsman (Rbi).

I had previous written a complaint regarding the same issue to https://www.consumercomplaints.in and i got a reply to contact [protected]@hdfcbank.com to share my credit card and contact details. Which i did but no responses.
So, again i'm writing to consumer complaints with all the attached screenshots of executives who contacted me in whatsapp.
