HDFC Bank — Wrongly Charged by "GO Air" because of Smartbuy Portal

Dear Concerned,

This is to bring to your notice about the mental agony caused to myself and my father (Senior Citizen) who is on wheelchair support for flight booking that we had done via HDFC Smartbuy GOIBIBO GOFIRST AIR.
We had done our booking like always via HDFC Smartbuy as that has been reliable to date. Our choice of Merchant partner was "GOIBIBO" and air carrier being "GO FIRST",

The issue: Wrongly charged for Check In baggage at the "GO AIR" counter at the departure terminal in Bengaluru. INR 6050 (Receipt attached)

While booking on the website it clearly shows 15 KG per person (Attached screenshot from portal) which is default for anyone for the longest time. However the ticket finally generated showed "ZERO" which we were not aware of. Because of this the attendants at the check in counter were not accepting any of our bags and told us that it is not their problem that a technical glitch has happened on a third party website and I cannot check these bags in without paying. Kindly note that I was travelling with my father for his treatment. Because of shortage of time and my father being wheelchair ridden I had no choice but to reduce my cabin baggage and give it back to my family waiting outside and pay for one suitcase with essentials for the mentioned amount. Please understand that when such issues are not the customers fault it is certainly not the way to deal with them especially when you have a senior citizen who is unwell.

Expectation: Full refund of the amount paid and agony caused. Response within 12 hours.

@ HDFC Team, I have been a loyal Regalia customer for the longest time and this is not the experience that one should be getting for all the loyalty provided.

@ DGCA, Kindly take note of such fraudulent activities.

@GoFirst and IBIBO, Please figure out your technical issues. This is just not ok.
