HDFC Ergo General Insurance — Re: No claim bonus scam
I recieved multiple calls from hdfc. The agent named Ashok, Rohit, Anjali confirmed all my personal details (my dob, address) and asked me to make a payment of 25000 each to renew 2 policies in order to get the no claim bonus as i have not used the insurance. And i was made to take the below policies. 1. HDFC Young star udaan[protected] 2. Cigna TTK health insurance. Policy no - PROHLN[protected] Jan 2020 was the end date. ( i still asked him why is this a different policy..he said that is how it works) Many people like me are getting these calls and are being cheated...i want this to stop. 50000 is not a small amount for people like us..why such a good company is making money in this mannerless way. With great difficulty i had to arrange the money and renew the policies believing them as he confirmed all my details and made me believe that he is from hdfc ergo only. But now i am being cheated for such a big amount. From past 1 year i have been following up for my payment sending multiple emails which is being transferred from one person to the other...also received calls from a manager name rakesh.[protected]@hdfclife.com who asked me to forward all the emails and the conversation screenshots which i did. He also promised me to get this issue resolved..but its been 6 months now no response even after multiple follow ups. Please can anyone take this issue and help me get my refund back and stop this scam calls to avoid more people getting fooled during this difficult time. Was this information helpful?
