Dear Sir /Mam,

my dad got deceased on 13-April-2021 .

my father (Bharat.P.Rathod ) had taken a car loan no :[protected] from HDFC, which is active and outstanding balance is 1, 72000 approx.

IN that loan we had insurance of HDFC ERGO
Insurance no :[protected].

We had submitted all the necessary document in HDFC Ergo for claiming

The insurance they are not approving the claim due to my father treated for covid .

As i mentioned them after 14days my father was covid negative and still he was facing breathing and kidney issue but still they are not approving the claim same .

They are not considering covid in critical illness don't know why

Request you please help on this we required claim to be pass to survive in this hard situation please help .

    I have HDFC ERGO Health Insurance Policies Name is Health Suraksha
    Policy No. is [protected]. Claim No. RR-HS[protected].And this policy I have since 4-5 years. Every year I am renewing on time. But in 4-5 year I never use this and last month I got operated for my Left Inguinal Hernia. I connect with insurance company and I ask them the procedure. It was not cashless but they told it will be reimbursed. I am working in Pune and diagnosed Left Inguinal Hernia in Pune I have Dr. Prescription also USG Report. And Dr. told me for operation as soon as possible. I planned for operation and decided to operate in Chandigarh as it’s near to my home town Hansi. It was operated in Government Medical Collage & Hospital, Sector, 32, Chandigarh on 23rd February, 21. And I admit in Hospital one day before on 22nd of February, 21. I discharged from Hospital on 24th of February, 21. And I have spent around 44000/- Total for Operation. After Discharge I again connect with insurance company and asked them what is next and they told me submit all the scanned Documents whatever you got from hospital to email address ([protected]@hdfcergo.com) and I did the same and send all documents on 26th Feb, 21. I have send all the documents including Dr. Prescriptions, Diagnostic reports, Chemist Bills, Discharge History with breakup bills, Pre hospitalized and post hospitalized everything. and in every 4-5 days I was connected with them for claim status and every time they raise query that they need this and that documents while I have submit all the documents again and again and again as per their query and it’s been one and half month now and they raise one more query now that they need Pre-numbered final bills with detailed break up of sub-section like consultation, medicines, investigations etc. And I have come back to Pune and join my work back. While i have submit all the documents whatever I got from hospital or from diagnostic center or from chemist. Hernia was diagnose in Pune i test in Pune, Pre-hospitalized test from my home town, Medicine and surgical things from chemist. I asked them what is Pre-numbered final bills for them and they told Dr. Should write all expenses on one page. How it’s possible? Hospital has given their final breakup bill whatever they charged. Disease Diagnosed in Pune, Pre-hospitalized test and report from my home town Hansi, Dist... Hisar, Haryana. Medicine bills and surgical bills from chemist shop why the Dr. from hospital will write all these expenses from here and there in Common bill. Hospital Dr. will write only hospital expenses and they give their final bills. While all the original scanned bills I have given them. If they have doubt they should inquiry with hospital or with chemist or with diagnostic center.
    While I was checking same complained on consumer complaints website there is so many same complaints its mean insurance company knows very well that this is the problem client going to face in the end but they don't want to inform to client that how they want the final bills on early stage. I am not sitting front of hospital that I can arrange whatever they ask whenever they ask. They should told to client or to patient that please ask these bills in these format from hospital while discharge. After one and half month where from I will get now. In this pandemic time while everywhere people losing their jobs or salary cut and these insurance companies not thinking even how stressful time for us. Since I discharge it has become so restless and stressful for me because of this and on the same time 4th of March I lost my father too you can understand how stressful time for me. Amount is not small for me I just arrange from here and their thought will return after my claim settle.
    Please need your help in to shutout this. Kindly advice what to do now

    Thanks for your support. My claim has been settled now, after complained to consumer court with the same documents which I had send to them earlier. They were creating problem purposely. After sending them all documents also tried to make them understand on calls they kept asking Pre-numbered final bills. It was so stressful for me. Also It was so surprised for me that after sending all bills they keep asking the same bills every time. Was very very bad experience with HDFC ERGO. Thanks for your great support to solve this otherwise I had lost all hopes regarding this.

      My father had taken car loan from HDFC Bank and Insurance from HDFC Ergo General Insurance. My father had paralysis and Brain hemorrhage last year. So we have raised Critical illness, Permanent disability and credit shield claim against our Car Insurance. Submitted all required documents to Insurance company also. Still Insurance company is not processing our claim. Its literally torture for us.

        Dear Team,

        I am writing this mail on behalf of my father Mr. Rajendra M Bathia who is the holder of valid motor insurance from "HDFC Ergo General insurance India". I wish to narrate some incidents after which I feel cheated by "HDFC Ergo General insurance India".

        Series of events are as under:-

        1). My Father Mr. Rajendra M Bathia had a major brain stroke on 3rd Jan 2020. After that he lost his complete movements, one side vision and vocal cord.

        2). After discharge I tried (still trying) my best for his improvement but didn't get any positive response.

        3). I raised the claim for his critical illness (Claim No: RR-CI[protected] on 11th Aug 2020. Then from the other side asked to submit some more documents which I submitted. After submitting the all related documents still I didn't get any response but only repetitive mails to submit the documents which I have already submitted.
        Also we have raised a claim under credit shield (Claim No: RR-PA[protected] on 24th feb 2021. We didn't receive any notification or progress on this claim till date.

        4). My Father declared Permanent Disabled (80%) by the Government Of India after showing no improvement after many months.

        5). After getting a permanent disability certificate I raised a claim for permanent disability (Claim No: RR-PA[protected] which has refused without giving any valid reason. As per policy wordings it is not in any exclusion.

        6). I am attaching some documents which will show you the genuineness of my case. Me and my whole family are already suffering psychologically, physically and economically after my father's illness and now we are getting a torcher from your insurance company.

        7). I am the victim of the system developed by "HDFC Ergo General insurance India" and channel partners which look upon customers like us as soft prey which can be looted easily.

          Optima Restore Floater Insurance Policy

          I have renewed my health insurance policy on 2:06AM[protected], with number[protected] with HDFC Ergo. It was renewed before due date.
          The payment has been made and the policy document as been issued.
          But I'm still not able to view my policy online and when I'm trying to use my policy, it shows I don't have any policy or the policy number is inactive.
          I have raised the complaint twice through customer care...

            My Self Sanjay ojha i have a Agency HDFC ERGO HELTH INSURANCE Code please Terminate my agent Code[protected] basis.
            I was send a request to IRDA ([protected]@irda.gov.in) for removing my agency code and PAN No AAKPO1061F from IRDA PAN LOOKUP PORTAL because due to this agent Code I am not eligible to join any other insurance company as a Employee.
            Sir resentaly I was done a interview and I got selected for insurance company as a Manager but due to my PAN NO and agent Code showing on IRDA PAN LOOKUP PORTAL my company is hold my joining they are told me that first I have to remove my PAN NO and agent Code from IRDA PAN LOOKUP PORTAL after that they will issue my offer latter I was already Resigned hdfc ergo health insurance company on 15/06/20 my resignation latter attached along with this mail.
            Sir it's my humble request to you please arrange to terminate my agency and remove my PAN No and agent Code from IRDA PAN LOOkUP PORTAL.

                HDFC ergo health insurance say i can't add my son to my active policy[protected] as he is over 1 year now. I just renewed my policy in December 2020 month and they want me to wait for the next renewal which is due in December 2021. I feel what kind of family floater it is when it can't cover my immediate family members.

                They are simply denying adding child to the policy due to their own conditions while i was aware...

                The Policy Number in the attached document is shown as[protected]. However, in HDFC ERGO online records, it shows as [protected]. Both the numbers are Invalid as per the HDFC Ergo App. Could you please direct them to solve this discrepancy.

                I called their customer support and they are not understanding.

                  I recieved multiple calls from hdfc. The agent named Ashok, Rohit, Anjali confirmed all my personal details (my dob, address) and asked me to make a payment of 25000 each to renew 2 policies in order to get the no claim bonus as i have not used the insurance.
                  And i was made to take the below policies.

                  Respected Sirs,
                  I am a senior citizen with very little help from my family. I have been hospitalised for treatment of COVID. I had two insurances Primary is HDFC ERGO and Top Up is Religere. The hospital unfortunately processed my claim through Religere which got rejected due to wrong insurance company. I paid the full amount to ASTER and got discharged with the hope I can claim the same from HDFC ERGO. I have been interacting with HDFC ERGO for past 45 days and there are query after query I have answered and provided clarification.

                  I am surprised that your claim processor cannot give all queries at a ONE time and then process the claim? They send one query and if I answer and give documents they ask another query. Why is this happening? Is this your delay tactics ?

                  I am a genuine customer who paid all my insurance premium for years now and you cannot give me my claim and simply delay the payment? I am fed up of giving answers to queries.

                  If you refuse to pay me with whatever I have submitted I will go to court. This is unbearable and I am ready for a legal battle. Shame on your organisation that you treat a senior citizen with so much of disrespect.

                    Fraud calls on bonus from 98730 61027

                    I am HDFC Ergo Health Insurance holder and I received a call at 11.13 AM on[protected] on my mobile number [protected] from the above number stating that ' I have 180000 in unclaimed bonus' and she will help me receive it. Being a senior IT professional with common sense :-) I knew it was a fraud.

                    Please follow through to identify the culprit as a cyberfraud and take necessary steps to block the mobile, the caller and the BPO...

                      Hi,

                      I was sold an insurance to cover my personal liability in case of loss of job along with my personal loan from HDFC. I paid 5700/- for this insurance as a one time charge to provide cover until end of loan tenure.
                      Now when I want to claim, they say I do not have the said benefit and all I have is the accidental insurance. I still have confirmation of the sales representative on whatsapp about being covered for personal liability. Even the customer care representative from HDFC Ergo whom I spoke to in November said I had personal liability cover.

                          In last year policy for Ford car issued by HDDC ERGO customer care numbers and toll free number for claim registration and phone number of agent were mentioned .However on customer care number there was no option for claim registration for motor vehicle and toll free number never got connected .
                          On renewal of policy online on 24.11.2020 when policy is downloaded neither customer care number nor phone number of agent are there on policy document and page having toll free number us not sent even though the said toll free number also does not get connected on calling .
                          Another important number for seeking road side assistance is also not mentioned on policy even though all above necessary numbers are mentioned in bold letters on first page of policy of many other insurance companies .
                          All customers are not used to mobile app etc for seeking any help and thus above phone numbers should be made available on policy document by HDFC ERGO and option for registering of claim for motor vehicles and seeking Road side assistance should be available on phone numbers and toll free number for claim registration should also be made operational at the earliest so that after needful is done another copy with all phone details can be downloaded for reference and use .

                            I am Sachin from Delhi. On 27 February2020, I went to Agra and on highway my car had an accident in midnight.I have (i20 car, Model-Megna plus, Rg.no-DL 8C AY 2427). On 1march2020, I parked my car at NRL HYUNDAI WORKSHOP(AGRA) for repair. After some days, (NRL HYUNDAI) workshop Manager and Car surveyor of (HDFC ERGO GEN. INSURANCE COMPANY) called me and said that, "i have mailed you as a one normal formality form regarding to you car repairing for signature and then i signatured that form and mailed to back them.After some days i called him, got to know the condition of car and workshop manager said that, "your car had given for the total loss not for repairing and then i said to him i did not give my car for the total loss i want to repairing for my car and want to back then manager said to me, "you talk to the insurance company about that.( I have a car insurance from HDFC ERGO GEN. INSURANCE COMPANY) .Then, i talked to the insurance company about that my problem and they said, " your car's piller had damaged during the accident. Insurance company lied to the work shop's manager about the car's piller because clearly, i have remember the pillers was in good condition during the accident and i have pictures also of this.After then again, i talked to the work shop's manager and he said, " the car has been damaged at the behest of the insurance company.but i said to the manager i want to repairing of my car then he said he will repair my car but today it has been nine month since my car crashed and they have not taken any action yet.
                            The workshop has given an estimate of car repair is Rs.450000. Which is less than 50% of the insurance value of the car, yet the insurance company is not repairing the car. I want to get my car repaired. I will not ditch the car in total loss at all.
                            Lastly, i have a humble request to you please take a strict action of this my problem as soon as possible
