Hero Motocorp — Data loss leading to fraud calls and loss of money

My dad took auto loan from Hero Fincorp, Shyama Automobiles, Ranchi .They somehow leaked the data from their end and then my dad received the call exactly on the day of EMI payment and then they asked to submit it online as the cheque payment was not getting through. And asked to submit the money via google pay. The guy on the call had all the details about our loan. And later when we didn't receive the receipt we reached out to the concerned authorities and came to know that it was fraud.
