Respected Sir/madam,

I had purchased a Hero Splendor by cash as a gift to my father in November 2021 for his official use.

The vehicle MH 14 JV 0336 was registered on 1st, of November 2021.

The mentioned vehicle was timely serviced on the 4th of December after which it started giving problems like break down, engine misfire etc.

When I took the vehicle to my local authorised Hero service centre (Shreyas Motors, Lonavala) I was informed that the fuel filter was clogged due to rust particles travelling from fuel tank to the filter.

This is to bring to your notice that I have received a bike with a completely rusted fuel tank from the inside. Which further proves that it was from your old stock.

Further to this I spoke to the dealer from whom I purchased the bike it is Sehgal Autoriders Pvt Ltd. Chinchwad, I was informed that there calling back the motorcycle from Lonavala and that they will look into the matter.

Sehgal Autoriders Pvt Ltd, Received my vehicle on Saturday 19th of February 2022. Since then I was regularly in touch With their executive (Mr. Richard) on the number [protected]. I was told that the company has approved a new petrol tank and fuel filter as it is a manufacturing defect.

I was continuously told that they will come up with a resolution at the earliest.
The issue here is till date I am not informed as to by when my vehicle will be repaired.

As a customer the least I am looking for is timely information of what resolution Hero motocorp has come up with and when I will be receiving the vehicle.

We are incurring Cab expenses of Rs. 600 daily. We feel that Hero MotoCorp is responsible to pay us for this discomfort.

Kindly consider this complaint as an prior intimation before I approach the consumer Forum.
