Hero Motocorp — Urgent Safety Complaint Vida Plus Scooter Repeated Shutdown While Riding

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally escalate a serious safety concern regarding my Hero Vida Plus electric scooter, which has remained unresolved for the past five months despite repeated complaints to customer care and visits to the authorized service center.

Since purchase, I have been experiencing serious issues that make the scooter unsafe to ride. I have contacted customer care multiple times and was informed that the matter was under investigation, but no concrete resolution or timeline has been provided.

I was referred to Mr. Yash Srivastava (Territory Manager – Service), who further directed me to the authorized service center (Parmiya Singla Mobix). For the past 15 days, I have been repeatedly asked to visit the service center, only to be told that the center is shifting or that the technician is unavailable. I was later directed to Mr. Vijay Shukla (Service Manager), who denied that any solution was available.

This situation has caused significant mental stress and safety concerns for me and my family. I cannot risk riding a vehicle that I believe may cause an accident. A five-month delay in resolving a safety-related issue is unacceptable.

I request the following immediate actions:

A written response within 7 days.

Inspection of the scooter at my residence or immediate pickup from my home.

A permanent technical resolution, replacement, or refund as applicable under warranty and consumer protection laws.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 7 days of this email, I will be compelled to escalate the matter to the National Consumer Helpline, the Consumer Court, and other appropriate regulatory authorities.
