    I have been a subscriber of Hindustan Times English Newspaper. I had opted for their Annual Scheme @Rs. 551 offer when their Executive had visited me at my Home dated 16/12/11. I have given a cheque on 16/12/11 of Rs. 551.

    New paper Delivery person Put newspaper at my home From Jan to April After that he did not put any news paper.
    we asked the delivery boy he told , HT has stopped this scheme in between & even HT will not charge any money for past 04 months.
    I checked my bank statement amount was still not detected from my account.

    but after 07 month HT has cleared that cheque on 24/07/12 ,
    Now delivery boy is not putting any news paper also, according to him HT news paper has charged 551 Rs. & now you have to complain to HT as amount is cleared in HT account.

    Even HT person changed cheque date from 16/12/11 to 16/05/12. for clearence i checked with bank they just have scan copy & in scan copy i am not able to prove that date is tempered.

    can anybody give me some solution.

    I took an Annual Subscription of Hindustan Times English daily vide your subscription form serial no.
    SHT 0602821 with a payment through cheque of Rs.599.00 only on 01. 07. 2012.
    Delivery to that issues commenced from 1st of August, 2012 that was a couple of times conveyed
    and reported to your Confirmation Calls.
    I was, otherwise, a regular subscriber of Times of India since my childhood.
    I was given to understand that the offer was to start from the month of July, but it started from the
    month of August that also when the matter was twice reported to your Confirmation Calls.
    Surprisingly, my Vendor asked for one month's Paper cost in Cash stating that the Offer ended
    in June ir-respective of the fact that he started a month LATER.
    Thereafter, calling some un-printable foul words to HINDUSTAN TIMES he stopped delivering
    newspaper to us.
    Please advise Why Must A Subscriber of HINDUSTAN TIMES be victimised ? Any Solution !!!

        Sir,
        I paid Rs. 299/- against 10 months subscription of Hindustan Times 'HT GURGAON LEADERSHIP OFFER' vide coupn no. HT0516494 on 15/4/2012.
        The Executive Sh. Narender contact no. [protected] has told me that your paper will starts from 1/5/2012. But till date I haven't received any.
        No newspaper vendor either received any coupn. They told me 'HTBIKTA NAHI HAI NA SO THEY STARTS THESE FRAUD OFFERTO COLLECT MONEY'
        If this is true than it is a REAL SHAME FOR HT
        Any One with similar complaint please share this HT SHAME OFFER with every one.

          I have paid 249 rupees ( for 2 year plan) for Hindustan times daily news paper in the 2 year scheme wide cheque no:314528 through csb bank kalyan branch on dated 27/01/2011.I have received coupen for 1 year at the time of payment paid.I have received paper till march 2012.From april 2012 I am not receiving the paper because I didn't received the coupen for 2nd year.I have informed two concern persons but not received the coupen for 1 year.Please consider this complaint and make sure to get me coupen for 1 year.

            COMPLAINT - HT EXCLUSIVE OFFER BOOKING FORM NO. HT 606909

            I had applied under the HT exclusive offer to book Hindustan Times & Sunday Hindustan Times for a period of 24 Months. The payment of INR 1200 was made vide cheque number[protected] and the same was encashed on 07 March.
            Since then I have neither received the Coupon Booklet nor the Gift ( Mobile Phone). I tried calling the help line number given on the receipt( form counter folio) but even after waiting for more than 7 minutes , nobody attends to the call.

            The email to '[protected]@hindustantimes.com' is bouncing back.

            Not sure how to get my complaint heard.

              I HAD ISSUED CHEQUE FOR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION OF MINT NEWSPAPER ON 23/12/2011 & WAS TOLD THAT THE COUPONS WILL BE SENT WITHIN 21 DAYS. I ONLY RECEIVE THE CALLS WHETHER THE COUPONS ARE RECEIVED OR NOT BUT TILL TODAY THE SAME IS NOT RECEIVED. LAST WEEK, I HAVE NOW GIVEN THEM MY CHANGE IN ADDRESS & WAS TOLD THAT THE COUPONS WILL BE SENT WITHIN 3 DAYS.
              I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IS THE WORKING OF MINT NEWSPAPER? WHETHER THERE IS ANY CO-ORDINATION & COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEIR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OR NOT. ARE THEY FOOLING THE PEOPLE. I FEEL THAT THERE WILL BE A BIG SCAM.

                i have book a matrimonial advertisement in Hindustan times in package 2+1, and given different three dates on my release order, but they have book two advertisement in single dates. and complete the package in two dates. i am talking about this matter to Chandigarh Office & Delhi Office but they have not given a satisfied answer about this. i am send complain latter by email to chandigarh & delhi managers. but i am totally de-satisfied. now my clients want to their money back. what can i do this situation. our R.O.                   Hi,

                  I have been a subscriber of Hindustan Times English Newspaper in Mumbai ever since it was launched in Mumbai few years back. I had opted for their Annual Scheme @Rs. 199 offer when their Executive had visited me at my office and thereafter their executive visits me at home to collect the cheque for renewal. However, though I have renewed the same in Nov'11 and the cheque amount has been debited from my Bank Account in mid-Nov'11, I am yet to receive the subscription coupons which I am supposed to present to their vendor every month. I had the same experience last year as well when after considerable follow-up with their Subscription Dept I managed to get the coupons delivered to me by courier. This year they claim to have sent the coupons to me in Dec'11 but seems the courier agency tied-up by HT Media Ltd. has given a feedback to them that customer not available at premises. I have repeatedly assured HT's Subscription Dept that there's always someone at home from my family, so no one has visited me regarding this issue. However, I have been just following-up with them for over 2 months without any satisfactory response from them as yet. Hence, I hope someone from their offices reads this and looks into the matter. I would advise readers not to opt for the Hindustan Times's special offers like I did, if they wish to avoid the ordeal I am going through.

                  After much follow-up with the Subscription Dept of M/s HT Media Ltd., the owners of Hindustan Times newspaper, I finally got the subscription coupons hand delivered by their representative today. Noticed that the address printed on the coupons was incorrect. Seems their Executive who visited me to get the Subscription Form filled and collect the cheque had written the address wrongly. It appears strange, as I have been a subscriber for the past 3 years and HT would already have my correct address, having successfully delivered coupons in the past through courier. Anyway, have given my feedback to the company, and hope they have noted the correct address in their records.

                    I had booked for annual subscription to MINT newspaper from Hindustan Times on 21.10.11. My subscription No. is 302678. I was informed that I will receive the coupons in a few days time. When i did not receive the coupons even till mid November, i started making calls to the customer care No. [protected]. I made 1-2 calls every week, but there was no action. Then when i called on 15th Dec'11 and by this time I was pretty agitated, I was told that This was the first time i had called( wheras I and my wife had already called them 5-6 times by this time). On 15th i got a complaint no.: 3342 and an assurance that the matter will be resolved by Dec end. When i did not get the coupons and mind you for Nov and Dec, the newspaper vendor had already collected the bill brom me, I asked the call centre to make me a refund. It was beyond my capacity to keep following up for this. Post which i got 2-3 calls from HT audit department, everytime asking if I had received the coupons, to which my response was no and that i had already asked for a refund. Today is 14th Jan'12 (almost 3 months now) and i still have not got any refund. Its a hopeless case of mismanagement.

                      A cheque for Rs149/- for the annual subscription for Hindustan Times was collected byMr.Raj Kumar Gupta Mob No [protected] inSep 2011. A post dated cheque was given to him to avoid duplicate paper delivery as I had coupons until mid Jan 2011.
                      The cheque was returned in Dec 2011stating that the scheme was open to 30Nov 2011 and since the cheque is dated 02 Jan 2011 I am no longer eligible and I have to pay a higher subscription amount
                      The delay is not mine and this could be intimated in Nov to make my subscription valid
                      and a fresh cheque could have been given

                        Received various calls from Shine to pay them upgrade to get membership benefits. I have constantly refused.
                        Now They block recruiters from contacting me which is a general service without payment.
                        I was asked to send a mail to [protected]@shine.com but havent received reply and they refuse to give me contact details of Amstel Ltd. the company which contacted me.
                        Most probably the company feels i am not interested and not replying and I lose the job opportunity.
                        Its been8 days since my complaint and have not heard from SHINE, who is arm twisting me to pay them and get the free basic services.
                        I hope this complaint moves somebody in the PR team and they get their team to respond.
                        This is just my first attempt.. I will get them famous on the internet.

                        AGREED with the previous review. Shine.com is a as good (or bad) as if it were for money collection. This can sound so wrong, but when THE HR EXECUTIVE calls you, you'll know it. Don't blame me for my words. You register on their website, post your CV and apply for jobs. You won't get a response from any company. (Trust me I have a strong profile). After you submit 10-12 applications, a lady (HR Executive) would make a SALES call (stop. read. yea. YES she is an HR Executive as per her e-mail signature) and tell you to pay up Rs. 6500 for 'improving' your resume (as if you do not know how to make it. lol). You say no I don't want that service. Specify it. They tell you they also forward you CV and apparently TRAIN you for the interview. (I was going bonkers on the call by then). They then promise to refund the money (not as clearly stated and explained over the phone). I said I will think about it. They already have your E-mail address as you have registered on the website. That lady would then send you the Terms and Conditions of the 'said' contract, which is a must read. Basically you have NO say at all in this contract. They can even choose to reduce the refund to whatever amount, the candidate is bound by this. Ridiculous business. And whats more the HR Executive is doing so much HR work, that she sends 4 of the those emails intended for other candidates to your e-mail address. She called again telling me to pay up, I said I am not interested in the services, and the HR Executive hung up as if she was the only one who had a bad day.Tell us this is the most professional service available which how they want you to see it. I wouldn't even give 1 star but for the website.

In the last one month i have received paper for only11 times. i have contacted the person in-charge Mr.Girish Arya on phone multiple times and once personally, he told that the hawkers/ news paper distributor do not listen to them. his phone no is.[protected]. so please get me out of it.

                              I have subscribed to HT Chandigarh for 6 months and I have been supplied coupons for the same. My coupon no is 9077. At the time of subscription,the concerned executive had assured that the paper shall be supplied from 20 Nov. But when paper was not supplied on the date, I called him and he assured that it will be supplied from 1Dec,2011.But I have not received the paper on Dec 1 also. The executive is not available at his phone no. [protected]....

                              i dharmesh popat informing you that hindustan times is one of the worst company i have ever seen. i am mostly reading hindustan times newspaper. approx 1 months and 10 days before i have given cheque of Rs 149/- to the Executive for subscription of 1 year newspaper but i have not received any coupons from the company. No responce from customer care. All executive is telling that you will shortly receive your coupons but i'm not getting it. My ticket number is MUM/L022621 and my cheque number is 131281. kindly request you to do the needful as soon as possible.

So please provide the coupons because money has been taken & we have not received your coupons due to which the vendor has stopped giving the newspaper.

                                I opted for the corporate subscription offered by your team for ICICI bank staff at our corporate offer only to realize what a mess I have landed myself into.

                                As per the details mentioned in my appended mail, I have not yet received my subscription coupons. Have been consistently following up with Sajid @ [protected] from Wednesday October 12, 2011. He asked me to call him the next day. When I tried contacting him at the said mobile no., he didn't even bother responding.

                                I then contacted Raju at [protected] on Thursday October 13, 2011. He advised me to send a mail to "[protected]@hindustantimes.com" with a cc to him. Till date no response. When I contacted him today, he lied saying he has already sent me a mail which I have not yet received.

                                Will someone from HT have the courtesy of responding and telling me why I have not received my coupons and when the coupons will be delivered to me.

                                I have already taken up this matter with our banks HR.

                                Mint Subscription — Not Received my coupons

                                Hi I am Mahima, I have subscribed with your Mint offer in the Month of June, but till now I haven't received my rest 11 month coupons...I have already talked with the customer care for 8-10 times but received no appropriate response from them.

                                    I have subscribed for 1 year scheme. But the vendor is not giving me copy of Hindustan Times on proper time. He has been delivering the HT copy after I leave my home.When I asked to give the paper on proper time he told that "I will give you on this time only, if you are intrested on this time you take, otherwise dont take" I am feeling very bad from his behavior it is like BLACK MAILING because before the subscription of HT he told me that he will deliver the paper on proper time. So please take some necessary action against him. I have already complait to HT Executive Mr Bhattcharya and other executives of the nerul area, he tried his best but unable to solve my problem and suggested to complait on HT web site.
                                    My form No. is 733514, Cheque No. 245728 dtd.[protected] amt Rs.149
                                    I have already made a necessary Payment for the delivery of papers by cheque it is already encashed on[protected]. I have received the coupons almost one month back but nobody is responding to my phones and only imagainary promises. Hence, i would like to request you to view this serisonly and get back to with proper solution.

                                    Hindustan Times — No proper information on website

                                    The Hindustan Times website does not have an easily accessible section for customer feedback. The numbers for the Mumbai region are also not updated, I had to spend quite a while locating the numbers. The managers have also given strict instructions not to put customer calls through to them?

                                      I as a consumer would like to complaint on the service of HT- Hindustan Times in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.
                                      They take subscription charges of one year with no coupon provided to us till date and no response to our queries.
                                      I would like to know what action we as a consumer should take to make sure this company either provide proper services to us or no more exist anymore to cheat the citizens around.

                                      We really need to get hold of these cheaters and make them realize they cannot keep doing this bluff any further.

                                      Hope this forum come with a concrete response and steps to solve the issue ASAP.
