Hi,

I have been a regular reader of hindustan times for quite some time. Initially i had taken 15 months subscription and then recently (In oct 2019) i renewed it by taking two year’s subscription.

During my first 15 months subscription there were times i didn’t get my paper and complained about it to your local representative mr. Rohit, however he never provided any help or support. Thus, this time, i was determined not to continue with ht but your marketing team kept coming back to me and promised that they will provide good service. Based on their promises i took the 2-year subscription. However, in the last 4 months i feel absolutely cheated.

Today, i had enough of it.in this week itself i have not received the paper twice. When i contacted rohit, he at first blankly told me that i can cancel my subscription. Later he promised that he will get me today’s paper and will bring in the distributer to me so that this non-delivery issue can be resolved permanently. For the entire day i kept following up with him and he kept on lying to me that he is looking into this and will do the needful today itself. But he never kept his words.

I am sick and tired of following up! I don’t trust ht or their representatives anymore and feel cheated. I don’t want to be associated with ht any longer and thus request you to refund my subscription money immediately.

If i don’t hear from you in next 24 hours, i will put this on the social websites so that you cannot cheat anyone like you have done to me. Post that i will also put in a complaint for cheating against ht in the cm window.
Hoping for a quick refund of my money.

I am going to file this complaint to hindustan times with great compulsion we have been your customer for last 30years but your vendors are making every effort that we are not your customers in the future,
His daily delivery of your newspaper timings are between 11:00a. M. To 12:00p. M. For last one year...
Many times we warn him about his late delivery but the reverse tells us that whatever you want to do, the newspaper will come at this time.
He is leaving no stone unturned to put the credibility of hindustan times at stake.
So i draw your kind attention please look into this matter as soon as possible i will be very thankful to you...

I started working for this work from home captcha filling, within 2 days the website stopped responding and so i left doing it. Few days back a lawyer, anirudh krishnan called and told me to pay 9000/- within 2 hours nor they will issue a legal case against me. He is calling again and again, what should be done please tell.
Please help, is this company legal or fraud?
They sent me an agreement and are again again saying they have filed a case against me.

I had cheated by the shine.com i got a call from shine.com regarding job in goa side by atul and maheep and told me that there is job availibility in goa side by taking different companies name and first told me that only need to pay registration fees and told me that no need to pay any more money and i paid that registration money after he sent me one more performa like this he ahd taken from me 117000/- i was asking again and again that 100% assurance is there for the job he told me that you will get the job within 30 days also he told me that you will get the 50% hike in the salary only because of the shine.com is a very reputed company on that basis i had paid this much of heavy amount this is a hard earned money and i am a middle class person i had trusted shine.com but after payment they are telling me that there is no job and interview guarantee i had paid this much of heavy amount only after confirmation of 100% job assurance now i and going to lodge the complaint against the shine.com if i am not getting my money back and i need to go legally if i am not getting money please help me get my money back

I paid rs 1399 for 2 yrs coupon of hindustan times vide cheque no. 882249 (State bank of india) dated 22.09.19. The booking (Form no. [protected]) has been verified, but till date i have not received the coupon. When talked to customer care executive on 05.10.2019, he has not any information in his record and was unable to help in any way. It is really shame for ht media who has no information and record in this regard. Plz let me know the latest status.

I have been your reader for so many years now. Iam really not happy with the service regarding coupans renewal. On dated 08/09/2019 your executive came to renew my coupans and i paid the amt of rs.1699/- for 3 years. Even i got the confirmation of payment
But i haven't received coupans yet nor any messages about the coupans dispatch. I had called your customer care number they said it is rejected and not showing any reasons. If rejected why? And why my payment was not refunded to me?. Or when i will get the coupans. I need clear clarification on this urgently or else please refund my money. I had attached my confirmation message. Please go through it and reply me urgently

I had paid an amount of rs 899 for one year subscription of ht newspaper. I paid the amount in the month of august 2019. Two weeks back i received coupons which mentioned starting date of delivery of papers as march 2019.
Also when i asked my vendor to deliver the paper, he was asking for rs 30 per month for delivery of the paper.
I request you to kindly refund my money back as ht is cheating the consumers

I am a regular customer of ht subscription since many years. I am resident of nirman nagar nilemore road nalasopara west mumbai 401203. Our newspaper vendor is not delivering ht newspaper to us even after taking monthly coupons of subscription from us regularly. He behaves very rude and argues with us every time we say anything to him. He doesn't know how to talk with the customer as he screams on us for misplacing and not delivering the newspaper ht every day since from 15 days we as a customer, really fed up with this vendor. We really think now we have wasted our time and money in showing interest of being ht customer by paying the one year advance subscription with no use just because of your careless vendor.

Kindly, look upon into this matter as early as possible, as it creates lot of inconvenience to us. Take a necessary action against this newspaper vendor.

I strongly dissatisfied with the service of hindustan times, i am the user of hindustan times newspaper with almost more then 10 year, for 2 3 year i applied for coupn due to good schemes, some months back i renewed my coupon schemes, but i not received yet.in my last scheme when i applied for coupon on that i not received, and he charged extra money, he said apka coupon ka time khtm hogaya, my mom said abhi toh time, he try to cheat us. And he doing the same, when i ask for the coupon he said kal aayega, aaj aayega company kharab hn company nh derahi, he said complaint kardo, whats is happening there, i want a clatification on this. Please resolve this matter in this week, and take the vendor ship from this cheater person.

1. Before monsoon season executive manoj rahane promised to give raincoat as per the no. Of cheques or booking. I submitted cheques and coupons were also delivered to customers, still no raincoat or incentives regarding the bookings were provided.
2. As per the daily number of mint copies, everyday i get 2 mint extra which are waste and i have to pay for that from my pocket, i am following up to company from last 6 months but they don’t response well and for their increase in po they keep hanging to decrease the number of copies. This complain is from many vendors and all are facing great loss due to this.
3. I have around 400 hindustan times every month, i have to stamp them every month which is an hectic job, we still agreed to that and adjusted for the company, even after all the proper coupon stamp work the no. Of copies are not validated. Number of copies and should be raise or decrease as per the stamped coupon by vendors. I get 212 hindustan times copies more everyday which are waste this is not followed up by any staff or company.
4. During heavy rain period, our union suggested executive manoj rahane to change the drop point as it get flood in that area but still the driver unloaded all the bundles at the same point and all the bundles were in deep water. We managed to save those one day, on 04/08/2019 all the 612 ht and mint copies (Excluding other vendors copies) were drowned in deep water and not an single ht and mint copies were delivered in ulhasnagar and ambernath. It was the mistake of the transportation services and management. We suffered a great loss and company still charged for all the copies from us and from customer. None of the adjustment were made or compensation were given. We had to pay from our own pockets to company and customers.

5. The process of submitting expiry coupon is to submit it to executive, i submitted old expiry coupons to executive ajith and also submitted 15 cheques. The amount of coupon and incentives which is deliver by pay-off slip/voucher has not been given till date. He received coupon and cheques on january 2019.

All this complaints and requests are submitted to executive manoj rahne and arvind jadhav from many months but they don’t response to complains from any vendor nor they took any action regarding it.

Kindly ensure that my new subscription to htimes is from 1 december 2019 to 31 november 2020 though the agent has taken the amount from me stating that my existing subscription to dna ends september 2019. I checked subsequently and dna subscription ends only on 31 november 2019.

Please correct your records and issue coupons accordingly.

Please also ensure that agents do not renew or book new subscriptions unless the old one is completed.

Dear sir, /madam

I have received the massage from your side my ht subscription coupons has dispatch through bsa courier vide document no. Ra8238663 dt.13.08.2019.
But this coupon was not received from my till date,
When i check the bsa side it is show that the address is not traceable but the same address is verified by your executive. And the courier person did not contact me when i have complain on his portal on mon, aug 19, 4:27 pm but they have not reply me till now

Please instruct the courier company to delivered the same in my address

I made a payment of Rs.1399 via paytm to subscribe the Hindustan Times English Newspaper for 24 months 3 weeks ago but the coupons have not reached me till now. I want to know why the coupons have not reached me yet and when will I get them. The company does not give any response on asking them. The distributor does't answer the query. He did not come to parcel my coupons.

I have subscribed and given an advance for hindustan times (Hindi) newspaper as per scheme 2 months back. The coupons have been received and accordingly, the papers should have been delivered from 1st aug 2019 but it has not yet started.in spite of repeated complaints to customer care from last 10 days, there is no action.

Kindly look into this matter and start delivery of the newspaper immediately or refund the amount paid to you.

Your relationship manager, came to my house in end of june 2019 and she approached me to subscribe hindustan times newspaper. Subsequently, i gave cheque no.151732 icici bank of rs.799/- favouring ht media.
The amount of rs.799/- dt.2.7.2019 has been debited from my account and credited in ht media for subscription of hindustan times for one year. More than two months passed, i have not received coupon till date. You are requested to please provide me subscription coupon of rs.799/-.

I am not getting newspaper from last 20-25 days now, our vendor already took coupons from us for next 3-4 months but stopped sending papers

This is to inform you that the vendor in area sector -24, rohini, delhi has refused to deliver the hindustan times english newspaper which i subscribed from may -2019 through coupon scheme. Feeling sorry to mention here that the said vendor has also charged rs 170 for the month of may-2019 despite being provided the may month coupon and telling for advance coupon. Nevertheless, i confirmed regarding this matter from customer care and apprised me that coupon should be provided after in the end of month. Keeping above in view i request you to kindly arrange another vendor to deliver the newspaper and take appropriate action in this regard and please make sure that rs. 170 which vendor already charged me alongwith coupon which is unethical.

Looking forward to a quick action in this regard from your side. Thanking you in anticipation.
