Hindustan Times — Mis-selling of scheme with wrong GIFT | |||
I was shown "Wonderchef Water Bottle with copper bottom" as GIFT along with subscription of "HT + MIN COMBO @ 1998" on 21st Feb'21 (Booking form no:[protected]/Dated:[protected] Though i had been subscribing HT for last 4-5 years, this time I upgraded the scheme to COMBO- since the GIFT would have been o[censored]se to me. Hence the sales person, came to my residence on 21/2/21, filled up application form online, asked my to provide verification code from my mobile and completed the online application, . He also mentioned that "WonderChef Water bottle" GIFT and Subscription coupon will be delivered later, However, to my surprise - the GIFT shown to me was not received and instead REVLON Makeup GIFT SET was sent - Which nobody in family uses. hence I again complained on 13/03/2021 with complain no:[protected] but was closed unilaterally, without any response, on 19/03/2021. I again tried to call help centre but till now there is no resolution of the issue of sending me "wrong gift" instead of" Wonderchef Water bottle" which was shown to me by sales guy. Hence i have decided to terminate my subscription - as there is no chance for correcting mistakes from Hindustan Times side. I am still awaiting cancellation proceeds from HT till date.
