[Resolved]  Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India [Hhli] — Hitachi Refrigerator model no 440 PND-3 (GVK)

Hi,

I have marked complaint No [protected] for my 11 months old refrigerator Model No model no 440 PND-3 (GVK) on 1st May which is well in warranty. My complaint was taken up by your technician on 2nd May.

He identified problem in the PCB and accordingly took the part for replacement. Now I have been calling Hitachi technician, local service center and the Hitachi Call center to update me about the situation.
No one is giving the exact position or date of this replacement. They are just saying that the part is not available with them and has to be procured from Ahmedabad. They will fix the problem as and when they will receive the part but as they say it seems it may take upto 10-15 days or a month. They just have no idea.

During this peak time of summers and outside temperature of almost 44 degrees, it is really difficult to manage without refrigerator. It really looks very surprising that the company like Hitachi (which has a big brand name) could not replace the most common part (PCB) of any electronic which is not even a year old.

Request for an immediate action in this regard.

Well, it is a suggestion for Hitachi Japan to close down their operation in India. As they are giving bad reputation to the global brand Hitachi.
My refrigerator, which is in warranty and is out of order since last 10 days or more but the company is just silent. Technician says he has no update about PCB replacement. Local service center -- Johnson Controls Hitachi Air Conditioning INDIA -- is saying we are awaiting for the replacement part. They are just not interested in escalating the job by either reminder emails or phone call update for PCB. Rather now most of the time they just avoid attending my call.

I would like my complaint to be taken to the second level as no one from Hitachi has responded to my previous complaint.
