I own a refrigerator which was not functional for upper compartment of 3doors and it’s out of warranty. The technician visited and checked and confirmed it is pcb issue. Power supply was perfectly fine.
He gave me 2 options- replacement which will cost 13000 INR and one month warranty or 8000 INR and one month warranty. I went with repair as it will be done in a days time.
Upon asking what will get repaired there was no ans straight but was told whatever part is gone will replace and will take 2 weeks.. so even for a single capacitor I am charged 8k as repair cost and even for the entire board it is same.. this sounds fishy! However I received bill from the vendor for the same! Assume this is authorised charges as it is authorised service Center - cool comfort. Is hitachi charging us correctly or just taking undue advantage of customer challenges??
I would say the repair was done in a day and worked complete fine.
