Hitachi — New AC quality issues

We purchased a Hitachi air conditioner in December 2024, and it has been used only minimally since installation. It is unacceptable that within just 1.5 years, the service technician has reported that the coils are worn out and require replacement at a cost of ₹20, 000.

This reflects very poorly on the quality and durability of Hitachi product. A critical component like coils failing in such a short period, especially with limited usage, indicates either a manufacturing defect or substandard product quality.

Furthermore, we had opted for One Assist Plan at the time of purchase, yet we are not receiving any meaningful support or coverage under this plan. This raises serious concerns about the reliability of after-sales service and commitments made to customers.

We expect an immediate review of this issue and a resolution without imposing unreasonable charges
