My complaint number for a 1.5 ton window ac is [protected]. Raised on 19th August for AC not cooling. The AC is under AMC. After a few follow-ups, I was told that three components need to be replaced. They have received 2; 1 is still pending. So, they can't service my request. That status I received from Hitachi customer care only. No communication from Johnson. The Johnson folks stopped picking up my calls and responding to my messages. Now even the customer care is maintaining status quo. One of the customer care executives put my call on hold for 20 minutes and subsequently disconnected. Thoroughly disappointed with Johnson, Hitachi customer care, and Hitachi brand. They sell AMC just to make money and do not fulfil their commitments. The entire feedback mechanism over whatsapp is also farce. They don't care if they are provided bad feedback.

    I bought Hitachi 1 ton 3 Star Split Inverter AC - White Gold on 16th June 2022 at price Rs 27, 864 from FLIPKART Order Id : OD[protected]Bill attached)
    Within 2 months it stopped cooling, So I raised Customer care complaint (Breakdown request - [protected]) on 7th August 2022.The support person came analysed the A.C and confirmed that gas has leaked.Hence, He filled the gas in A.C and closed the ticket. The A.C worked well for a few days then again stopped cooling.Hence, again I have to raise a complaint to customer service(Breakdown request - [protected]) on 24th August 2022. The Support guy came analyzed and confirmed that there is some problem in cooling pipe which he resolved & ensure that it will work fine now.Again within a week A.C stopped cooling again, On 2nd Sept 2022 I raised complaint to the customer service (Breakdown request - [protected]).Then, again the support guy came analyzed and confirmed that the gas has leaked again.Then I got a call from Mr. Abhay Yadav (+91-[protected]) (Hitachi) on 3rd sep and asked me to allow him to use Nitrogen gas under pressure to check fault in AC.On 4th Sep, A Service engineer came & use Nitrogen gas under pressure & dismantle the A.C and confirmed that compressor is also not working properly, and warned me not to switch on the A.C or it may spark and blast.The A.C is still in dismantled state at my home (pictures attached).I called the customer service & also requested Mr. Abhay to get a replacement for this AC as it is a faulty one.But Mr. Abhay ensure that once AC starts working fine he will replace it with new one. Now, the current situation is that my AC is in dismantled state till today.From 6th sep, I am continuosly calling Mr. Abhay but is of no use.Everytime he is making fake promises that it will get repaired soon.Having lost my patience, I finally asked him whether he will replace it or not.He simply denied that it will not happen & also asked why I had not installed AC from Myra services (Hitachi authorised centre).As it was installed by FLIPKART & I had also paid installation charges.If it is so, then who has authorised FLIPKART to install AC.
    I or YOU?If you, then why should I suffer.
    It has not been used for more than 3 months and 3 times it has stopped cooling.Now I want to ask HITACHI who is at loss.You delivered me a faulty piece & now pressurising me to bear with it at any cost.I also tried to contact Mr RIZWAN (Area Sales Manager) but he is also not picking up phone.From one week, I am suffering with your disgusting service which l had never expected from a brand like HITACHI.
    I humbly request HITACHI to please replace faulty AC with a new one ASAP.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      Reference is made to the call numbers [protected] & [protected] towards breakdown requests of the Hitachi Air-Conditioners 1.0 TON inverter split AC with Model No. RAPG311HEEA (both units).

      These were purchased during March 2022 along with two other Hitachi inverter ACs & Installation completed at our residence on 25.06.2022. The units were installed after duly raising installation request with Hitachi & was done by SEVEN STAR AIR CONDITION, a Hitachi authorised service provider from Chennai (GSTN: 33ACJPF3250G1Z2). As our residence was a newly constructed property, the ACs were not in use till 29th August 2022 and were only run weekly once to keep it in good condition.

      On 29th August 2022, one of the Air conditioners stopped giving cooling & the very next day the other one did not switch on (breaker switch tripping whenever AC was switched on. We immediately raised a complaint with Hitachi vide aforementioned service numbers & the technician visited and said that Unit 1 there was a leak in the condenser coil & refrigerant was totally empty. The PCB in the second unit was faulty hence the breaker switch was tripping.

      After following up with the technician, Seven Star Office, Hitachi Service Head in Chennai Mr. Srinivasan, they assured to rectify both ACs.
      Unit 1 was taken to their warehouse on 05.09.2022 & arresting the coil leak & refilling the refrigerant. For Unit 2 they arrived with another PCB on 06.09.2022 & checked the coil sensor, wiring but again it was not working. Today (07.09.2022) the AC technician came along with Hitachi direct service expert Mr. Venugopal, and tried with a 2nd PCB, still the compressor was not starting. It is to be noted that the first unit which was taken on 05.09.2022 we were told that it will take one more week for which we suspect parts might have been interchanged and the AC may cause problems at a later date.

      Going by the above sequence of events, it is evident that totally faulty machines have been sold to customers who are buying Hitachi products for the good brand reputation which they have built in the market.

      We would also like to inform you that we have purchased Hitachi branded window ACs from 2012 onwards and only due to the good performance we decided to go ahead with the brand this time also. Going by the recent events, we are totally upset with the brand and the kind of service support given. Infact during one of the days, the service technician of Seven Star tried to remove the PCB of the other two ACs which are in running condition and which we denied. This clearly shows the lack of knowledge of the technicians who simply want to close the complaint calls and move on to the next one.

      We kindly request Hitachi Team to arrange replacement for both the units through similar model / latest model as we have lost trust in these service technicians & their service quality and are afraid that both the units can cause problems in the future also.

      You may kindly investigate this matter and resolve the issue for us once for all by replacing the faulty units with new ones so that our hassles don't continue.

        Hitachi : No After-Sales-service

        (Invoice number 2016-17/80 Dates 15-Apr-2016) I purchased Hitachi Air Conditioner in April 2016 with hefty price which has been giving many many problems to me since then and I have to spend money every now and then to keep the AC in working condition.
        In the recent event remote of the AC gone out of order in July 2022 I have been calling up their customer care regularly only to get an original remote control of the AC but they are not interested to make the remote control available. They even quoted INR 950 (by Hitachi representative Nadir from Greater Noida Service Center) for the remote which I am very much okay to pay but they are not interested in giving after-sales-service hence they never tried to make the remote available to me.
        Initially they promised to provide the genuine Hitachi Remote Control in 48 hours of registering the request on their customer care number.
        I have been calling up them every alternate day for the AC remote and they reply me single line "wait for tomorrow, remote will reach to you". I am feeling completely trapped and dupped by Hitachi.
        I always believed this brand with impression Hitachi is customer oriented product company and therefore I purchased an AC with hefty money but now I realize that was my mistake. My believe in Hitachi has shattered.

        This is an indirect message from Hitachi that a customer should to buy a new AC rather than buying just a tiny remote control. I am feeling badly trapped by Hitachi as I am unable to use the AC for more than 2 months now even after spending huge money for buying it. This is how they exploiting their customers. Please help me to get rid of this mess and I promise not to buy anything again from Hitachi and advise the same to my near and dear ones.

          I had lodged a complaint about my AC repairing services before the HITACHI service center through phone call at[protected] on Monday i.e, 29.08.22 at 15:53 hours, they had sent 2 technician on 31.08.22 at around, they took Rs. 3, 200 for repairing the gas leakage and filling the gas, and said the cooling will work within 2 hours but after 5 hours also it was not working hence called the technician once again he confirmed that he will send people in the next morning but no one came, so we started calling the person but he did not receive the call his name is Prabir Gain, so I had to call the customer care executive where one executive named R.K. Singh stated that please send the bill we are trying to contact the technician but after some time he blocked our number that was registered with them, then I had to try from another number wherein he stated that my father is advocate do whatever you want to do you can't do anything we are just employee. I have the CCTV footage of the technician who came in my house and the bill that they provided. I want help in this regard because they are frauds and if no action is taken against them then they will take advantage with other people.             I purchased Split AC from Hitachi Company.
            But now it is not working. I am requesting Hitachi Customer Care to resolve the problem from last 6 days. I call Hitachi Customer Care 2 to 3 times daily they assure me "Dear Customer your problem will resolve within next 24 hr". Whenever I call them I get same reply.

            I am posting this complain second time on consumercomplaints.in...Management is so rubbish. Higher authorities do false promises that they will look into it right away.
            Please look into the matter and try to resolve my issue.

            If you are not able to solve the issue. Please simply say no but don't do formalities to reply on the particular request instead of arranging the technician.                 I have purchased Hitachi window Ac from Flipkart on 21 Jun 2022 on Emi. After 1 month Ac stopped cooling done complaint. (Complaint no:-[protected]) on 26 July 2022 technician came and took my Ac unit to service centre and says its coil is leak they will replace it and order has been place for coil. Now 1 month is over Ac is not repaired till now whenever I call them for update they say that coil is coming from gujrat it will take time 2-3 days but whole month is over listening to same thing. I am paying emi for a product that I can't use. Call several times to customer care no help wrote several mails but they didn't reply to mails and now service centre not picking my call. I have done complaint on consumer helpline but Hitachi didn't reply to them also. Now I dont no what to do. I am planning to file a case in consumer court.

                Finally Ac got repaired after 56 days. Never gonna buy Hitachi products in future, no help was provided from them after 56 days they repaired my Ac coil.I have to suffer for 2 months in peak summer. My AC was just 1 month old. No effect of tweets, consumer helpline complaint on them they are fearless. I will never be a Hitachi customer again.

                  On 1st of March 2022, I had bought a Hitachi Window AC of capacity 1.5 with model no. RAW318HEDO.Z and model ODU 210H17977. As stated, the purchase date of my new AC was 1st of march and today is 25th May, so it's been less then 3 months and I have already raised 4 complain regarding the problem face because of the above defective machine. First, issue I faced was for water dripping because of the incorrect installation from your technician with no.[protected]. Then it was temporary corrected but not fully resolved. Then after that I again initiated a service request with no. [protected], and again water dripping issue arises during service and the technician initiated the reinstalling request from his end. After that my AC was reinstalled and when it seems that everything was ok, now again, I have to raise another complain with no.[protected] for vibration and unbearable high sound from the compressor, swing flaps and other components. And while the technician visited my place to resolve the above issue, we again faced another issue with the fan speed. All of a sudden, the fan speed cannot be decreased either from the remote nor from the ECU panels on the machine. After trying several hours to resolve the issue, he just took video of the issue and he said that there is a defect in the machine and one component need to changed and it will take 2 -3 days to get component. Then after 4 days they have changed the AC ECU unit but the problem is not resolved. After couple of days the Area Manager service named Santan Gosh, called me and told me that there is an issue with the fan motor, and we need to change that. So, on 07th June 2022, another service person came to my house and completely de-assembled the brand-new Ac, and change the motor, even after working for almost 2hrs, the problem is not resolved. I told them that kindly replace the Ac as it's only been 3months and I have to raise complain in another day. But they told me that, it cannot be done, they will look for some other option. Then again, 0n 8th or 9th of June service person visited my home and after running the AC for 30- 45 min, a person who is on call with the senior tech and his name is M.D Rahaman, directly told me that and and I quote " THERE IS NO FAULT IN THE AC, EVERYTHING IS GOOD", seriously... and asking why he is saying so, then he had given a hilarious reason on why the fan seed is not decreasing instantly. He is telling that there is a technology developed in Hitachi AC that will not allow the user to decrease the fan seed until and unless the room temperature is decreasing below 27 degrees. That means people who is willing to run the AC on a set temperature of 28 degree, will never be able to lower the fan speed. Only if anyone will set the temperature 27 degree or below will able to lower the fan speed. I am not sure that are they getting training and paid for servicing Hitachi AC or they are paid and trained to fooled the customer with this type of illogical reason? And when I ask then while changing to Dry mode why the fan is running at high speed, there is no answer from him. As per my knowledge, in dry mode we are not allowed to change the temperature and fan speed is pre-set to low power. He doesn't have any answer to that, and I also said that, then how come at the time of demo everything is working fine and in 3 months the technology is updated through internet in my AC. And the most important thing in that, if there is no problem with my AC then how come they changed the ECU unit of my AC and why they have tear down my brand-new AC completely and changed the motor. And last but not the least, I elder brother who stays with me is having a same brand and model AC and in that model, everything is working fine without any issue. I think Hitachi has given the privilege to use the above technology specially to me. I think the service people are playing games with me and fooling me by telling all those illogical explanations. I have also sent 3-4 mails to JC-Hitach for clarification and got no support from them. Then I approached social media and narrated my issue to JC-Hitach official Facebook page. And I got response from there by an associate named Garvi and she assured me to get the issue resolved, but after several tech visit there is nothing positive from her end too. Now, again on 15th June 2022, 6 people visited my place accompanied with Santan Ghosh (Area service manager) & M.D Rahaman senior technician on 15/06/2022 and spend almost couple of hours inspecting the Ac and after checking all the thing they are again saying the same old story, that there is no problem with the AC. Then I said, if there was no problem, then how come they have opened my new AC and changed the motor unnecessarily and changed the ECU unit. Just explain me that. But they have no answer to any of my questions. Now, after so many days of metal harassment, I need replacement & compensation for the above issue.

                  I have already raised an online complain at the National Consumer Helpline on 11/07/2022 with grievances no-3650093, and it was moved to convergence on 29/07/2022, but still it is showing in progress. Hence I thought to move forward to involved you for resolution on this. Thank you.

                    Sir I bought 1 ton Ac 2 nos. In April month. In this AC not working very well. All ways gas problem. Many times technician came and repair it but still same problem. And now customer care all ways saying 48 hour we will send technician. Until now no body came.

                      Sir. I was bought 2 Split AC online from tatacliq. ( Hitachi Company ) 1 April 2022. Sir AC not working very well. I was complain many times about gas lecage. Technician came and repair it ac. But still have same problem. Sir I want change change AC.

                        My name is Sachin Mishra.
                        I bought SPLIT AC - 1.5TR HITACHI SHIZEN 3100S CHAMPION INVERTER - R410A - RSQG318HEEA
                        3 months ago from Vijay Sales Faridabad.
                        For the last 2 month My AC has not been working. On call I Complained 6 to 7 times and got no response at all.
                        its like i want to through this AC because of you guys now this is facing i am, even i went to Vijay Sales Faridabad to complaint for my AC still then no response at all, but now if you guys not fix my AC i will hang the Hitachi indoor backside of my car with Hitachi poster that you guys just making fool in the name of Service and product .
                        I am not here to fool that I invested 40k in this waste material AC.
                        This is my last try for you guys to fix my AC as soon as possible.
                        Now I am done with it. After this your company will see how I spend money to make your company repo its words to you guys and I mean it.

                          The 1.5 ton inverter split AC had problem with cooling since beginning, after sometime it stopped working completely. The technician checked and found the PCB has gone bad. The request was submitted to arrange PCB but there was no priority given to the request. We were told it will take 10-15 days for PCB to reach our place. Now even after 1.5 months the PCB has not reached.
                          The customer care service is extremely unprofessional and not helpful at all. They don't provide any solution and refuse to transfer call to their senior.
                          We are repeatedly asking them to replace the AC but our complaints are not given any priority at all.
                          We have escalated the issue to management also, but even the management is not giving any response.

                          My issue is not resolved and no help is being provided by Hitachi. The area manager was adamant not to replace the AC. The technicians came and replace so many parts of the AC, took 7-10 days to do so. They even damaged our wall (pic attached). Even after that AC is not cooling properly. After all this, still the area manager of Patna Mr Sushant is not willing to replace the AC. He is harassing us, saying technicians will come and check, they want take the AC away, fix it and then give the same back. This is highly unethical, the customer service of Hitachi is the worst. They don't provide any kind of help.

                          Hitachi has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After taking so many days, coming to my house again and again taking pictures, videos of the AC. Now they are saying AC will not be replaced and it can only be repaired. It has been 3 months the AC is not working and this is how they are harassing us. I am going taking this to consumer court as the Hitachi management is completely incompetent.
                          My issue is not resolved and no help is being provided by Hitachi. The area manager was adamant not to replace the AC.                             I have purchased a split ac last year and within a year ac gas has been leaked and now I have to pay amount to fill that gas.

                            I am surprised that within a year gas has leaked and during servies of ac none of the technician found this issue, wow what a product and services.

                            I am very disappointed and never recommend this product to buy

                                  With a very displeased voice I am bound to write genuine feedback regarding your company aircondition service. I have purchased hitachi 3 star ac on May 2022 from one of your dealer Panda service from Balasore, Odisha. On the very first day they cheated on stabilizer by saying company have provided old used one to sell. Now we are facing issue in remote functioning. Within 3 month of purchase facing these many issues just because of poor dealer service of your company. Now they are not agree to replace/ repair. Kindly look at this problem or else it is reflecting hitachi name

                                      I own a refrigerator which was not functional for upper compartment of 3doors and it’s out of warranty. The technician visited and checked and confirmed it is pcb issue. Power supply was perfectly fine.
                                      He gave me 2 options- replacement which will cost 13000 INR and one month warranty or 8000 INR and one month warranty. I went with repair as it will be done in a days time.
                                      Upon asking what will get repaired there was no ans straight but was told whatever part is gone will replace and will take 2 weeks.. so even for a single capacitor I am charged 8k as repair cost and even for the entire board it is same.. this sounds fishy! However I received bill from the vendor for the same! Assume this is authorised charges as it is authorised service Center - cool comfort. Is hitachi charging us correctly or just taking undue advantage of customer challenges??
                                      I would say the repair was done in a day and worked complete fine.

                                        Bhagwan ke liye hath jodti hu please mera ac repair kar do 🙏 I was told by the technician that there is a gas leak. That was 6 days ago and since then no one has come to repair it even though I have been CONTACTing the CUSTOMER care daily. My ac was brand new, bought 2 months ago. Rhe technician who was supposed to fix my ac is not picking up the call. Raised complaint to level 1. I'm literally fed up. Never buying products of Hitachi again because it has such ### CUSTOMER service. Just get my ac fixed, bheekh mangti hu.🙏
