[Resolved] Hitachi — Split AC faulty maintenance | |||
I got my Hitachi split AC biannual maintenance done in Aug last yr by the authorized Hitachi maintenance personnel after which the AC was packed for next season use. This season from the very beginning the AC was not cooling properly and when I called up the repairing guys, they told me the wire of external unit got snapped by the motor blade as it was hanging loose leading to the motor burning up costing me around 4000 bucks for a relatively new AC bought just 2 yrs back. When I contacted the customer care they told me since the AC was out of warranty period I will have to bear the cost of repair even when the fault was totally theirs as it was their chap who opened the external unit of my AC last year for maintenance purpose.
