Home Credit,
I am writing to formally lodge a grievance against an individual who visited my residence posing as a Home Credit representative and collected a payment without issuing any official receipt, naming the individual Mr Rakesh Sharma, and his bike number 5937. Despite providing payment, Home Credit has denied any association with this person and the transaction, and has also shared my personal information improperly.
Details of the grievance are as follows:
• Date of visit and payment: 19 September 2019
• Name and identity of the person: Mr Rakesh Sharma (photo attached)
• Vehicle number of the bike used by the person:5937
• Amount paid: Rs. 2, 08, 179
• Eyewitnesses present: Name Yogesh Wadhwani, Name Anita Chauhan, Mrs Wadhwani — individuals outside my family who personally witnessed the person collecting cash from me.
The denial by Home Credit, despite my payment, and the unauthorised sharing of my personal data is a serious breach of trust and data privacy. I request your urgent attention to this matter, and investigations under the following legal provisions:
• IPC Section 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property)
• IPC Section 406 (Criminal breach of trust)
• IPC Section 416 (Cheating by personation)
• IPC Section 418 (Cheating with knowledge that wrongful loss may ensue)
• IPC Section 403 (Dishonest misappropriation of property)
• IT Act Section 72A (Breach of confidentiality and privacy regarding personal data)
Kindly acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide me with a complaint reference number. I expect a thorough investigation and resolution within the stipulated time frame as per your grievance redressal policy. Attached are supporting evidence, including the image of the person and the bike number.
