Honda Car India Ltd — Honda brio, suspension problem and battery problem
Dear concern, I am a user of honda brio ex mt regd no uk08&206, purchased it from Divine honda dehradun. (Dealer code-dd049). From the very first quarter i faced the problem with self start & with Front suspension (Driver side). Whenever i complained for self-start problem every time i have been Assured simply that either my lights might be left on or may be the Music system. It generally happens with every one so i took it as my Fault every time. Secondly same with suspension problem i was assured that it happens Sometimes when you cross a deep potholes suddenly and sir you are Driving on an indian road. During every service, i used to complain and i was assured that the Problem is rectified and your vehicle is perfect. Like any normal Customer i went home satisfied that I have been given service by honda and the problem will not occur Again. If it occurs, i have the warranty. Now, after crossing standard warranty period of two years and Completing approx.32000 kms. The same dealer told me yesterday, that Your suspension (Shocker) and battery needs to be replaced. They handed Me the estimate of additional rs.12000. When i mentioned about the Extended warranty, they told that these are not covered under Warranty. Your amaron battery has 12 months warranty, by showing me And sending me the picture of service booklet as support document. Whereas everyone knows that amaron battery comes with three year Warranty and now the dealer is offering the same amaron battery with Three year warranty. Even one of your official site mentions "battery warranty three Years or 36000 kms whichever is earlier." At the time of sale, none of your salesperson told me about one year Warranty for battery. Your every advt., your site, everywhere Mentions about two year warranty, and two year extended warranty "peace of mind" and that too by paying, which i being any normal Customer relied upon it and paid without any doubt, on honda and its Dealer, for my peace of mind.in my opinion it was just the marketing Gimmick to attract the customers and nothing is real. But now, after completing my standard warranty period, and at the Very first service, your honda dealer is politely asking me to Replace all the parts mentioned above and that too by paying. Why the Dealer had not suggested the same during warranty period or even After one or two more services. Who's gonna decide whether it actually Needs to be replaced and when? It was sole decision of your dealer, Then why the customer needs to pay? So, this is my personal request to the concern at honda to kindly look Into the matter and intervene asap because its not just about the Money, its about the warranty of honda, quality of honda and service Of honda. And moreover its the concern about the trust and reliance On the brand honda. Waiting for quick response, Thanks & regards, Pankaj sharma [protected] Was this information helpful?
