Hp — repair and replacement of incompatible battery ordered online | |||
I ordered a battery for my laptop (Hp pavilion 15 e039 tx) on hp online store on 26 july 2017. My battery did not have the alpha numeric part code as shown on the hp website. It only had the hstn number which was not provided on the hp website. So i was not able to ascertain whether it was the right product. As the wattage and technical specifications were matching (6 cell battery) i ordered the battery. The product arrived by blue dart on 27th july 2017. When i tried to place the new battery in my laptop, i found that it was incompatible physically (Shape was not matching). So i called hp consumer care number given on the website who said that they cannot replace the battery as it is against the company policy to replace products that are opened. I request the concerned auhority to look into the issue. And provide justice to me. Either give me a replacement battery that fits the laptop or refund me my money Was this information helpful? | |||
