Huawei Honor — fraudulent at huawei service center

The old saying, 'larger the stature is worse the facilties are' most of the time goes right, specially if it is concerned about electronic gadgets.
I, shubham karn, using a phone huawei honor 5c which is working quite good, but somehow the rear camera outer glass got shattered and i was left with no help other than visiting the service center.
Before that i made a call to the huawei helpline number and discussed the whole scenario with the assistant (Who, no doubt was very humble and made my problem look too dismal to be worried about). He told me that the rear camera can be changed by visiting the service center at a price of about 350 (Excluding labour charge and gst charges).
I did the same and visited the service center located at - 1st floor, 73a, ganesh chandra ave, chandni chawk, bowbazar, kolkata, west bengal 700013.
The assistant/manager who was in charge there asked me that it will cost me near about 1800 inr and i'll have to change my whole back portion.
*this is what happens whenever people do visit any service center, i don't understand why do they exaggerate the problem to such an extent that their fraudulence is exposed. Though this is not a pil but trust me, that is the case.
Then i sat for a while in the service center and again made a call to the huawei helpline number again and discussed the same problem and this time too i was told that it will cost me atmost 500 inr (Including all the extra charges), then i made her aware of the whole incident that i am being charged 1800 for the replacement of camera glass at this service center, to which she replied - 'i need not to pay that much amount and get my glass replaced at the price told by her'. When i asked the manager sitting there that i have contacted huawei care and they have told me that it is possible just to change the lens to which he replied - its not possible here, you will have to change the whole case instead.. To which the assistant whom i was talking on phone told me that senior officials from huawei care will contact me in 15 to 20 minutes, but it took eternity to get a call back from their side.
I ended up not getting my phone repaired and went to the local market instead.
Need a proper clarification from their side.
