Hyundai Motor India — 4.5 month old hyundai eon tyre burst | |||
I was travelling from Bangalore to Madurai, on 28th April 2018. The vehicle is a Hyundai Eon just 4.5 months old. First servicing done not more than a month back. While travelling the front left tyre of the vehicle bursted, in Karur, Tamilnadu, leading to immediate loss of control of the vehicle ( i was travelling at 80kmph), and the vehicle landed up on rough patch of land beside the highway. Thankfully no one was injured inside or outside the car, but the vehicle is heavily damaged. The vehicle was taken to the nearest Hyundai workshop in TN for fixing. The Hyundai workshop who are fixing my vehicle, in Tamilnadu, showed a lot of seriousness upon checking the vehicle and understood the event severity by inspecting the damage. But to my surprise, when I contacted my dealer, Advaith Hyundai, Bellanduur, they blatantly avoided any responsibility, by downplaying the incident. They made zero effort to even assist a traumatized customer with the matter. The GM Sales in Advaith Hyundai, Mr Dorai Kumar even asked me "Who suggested you to buy this vehicle?" If this is the real face of Hyundai after sales service quality and most importantly if this is the quality of the vehicle, which turns into a piece of trash after just 5months, i would like the world to be aware and cautious in buying a car like this. If you end up with a relatively inferior quality vehicle, know that Hyundai will not help you. Infact they will blame you for purchasing that vehicle. Was this information helpful? | |||
