Hyundai Motor India — 6 days at service center but issue remains unresolved - hyundai creta | |||
Dear Hyundai, I own a Hyundai Creta bearing registration number TN 13 D 1083. The purchase was made on 9th Oct 2015 and thus well within the warranty period. I had given my vehicle at Kun Hyundai service center, Ambattur on 19th Feb at 1:00PM, having issues. Issue 1: The steering control volume button isn't working Issue 2: The music player skips songs at random (Last 10 seconds usually of the entire song is skipped and it moves to the next song). Issue 3: A rattling noise while driving from the front side left corner of the car 19th Feb (Friday) - The pickup of the car was made at 1:00 PM for service. The driver (Mr. Ashok) was briefed on the issues and he had made a note of it, saying it would be conveyed to the mechanic at the service center. 20th Feb(Saturday) - The vehicle is delivered back to me at 7:00 PM. The rattling noise issue was still unsolved and the worst part is that they had created a dent on the right side front door of the car. Immediately, I took the car back to the service center along with the driver. The service manager (Mr. Natrajan) promised that the issue would be solved and they would repaint the door and also solve the noise issue if I brought back the car to the service center on Monday(22nd Feb) as the service center had closed for the day. Also the same day I had lodged a complaint at this email id: [protected]@hmil.net. 22nd Feb(Monday) - The car was picked up in the afternoon by the same driver and was taken to the service center. The service technician (Mr. Hari) called up and informed that the noise was due to a welding issue on the pillars joining the front windshield to the frame of the car. He said that to solve the issue, the windshield needs to be cut and all this would be done under warranty. The warranty manager Mr.Rajesh had approved of the same. 23rd Feb and 24th Feb - The car is still at the service center. They keep postponing the delivery of the car saying a new excuse every time. Its a new excuse every single day. 25th Feb(Thursday)- At 7:00 PM, I get a call from the service center saying that a new windshield has been placed, but while doing so the beading had been damaged and hence they need to replace it as well. It would take another day to replace the same as the stock isn't available for Creta. Finally I call up the customer relationship manager(Ms.Jayapriya) but she doesn't lift the call. I tried calling the service manager (Mr. Natrajan) again sadly he doesn't lift call. Initially I was furious because it's been 6 DAYS, that the car was at the service center but now I feel helpless. I am not a native of Chennai and I'm completely dependent on my car. The 6 days have been gruel-some. I'm not even being provided with a alternative vehicle to use, they say that all their vehicles have been booked. The email to the customer care ends with a automated reply that they would address the issue in 3 working days but not a single call I've got from them. MY LAST RESORT: I've searched for few email id's of top management to escalate this issue on the net. I don't even know if these are authentic email id's.
