I have a Getz which is 7 years old and has been going for service only to the Dealership Service Centre since the 1st service. Last
year on 14th March, I got the AC pipes and AC filter replaced as the AC
was not giving proper cooling. At that time the cooling coil was also
cleaned and the gas was filled. After that, when the AC was still
not cooling, I was advised to get the compressor changed, which was done
on 13th June 2013. I still have the invoices of M/s P L Motors Ltd. to
prove both of the above.Even after that, the cooling was not proper
and the people at the centre had no clue about it. I got so frustrated
that I have stopped going to the service center where I have been going
from last 7 years as it is the nearest to my home. I got
my AC checked by an external mechanic and he told me that the compressor
is working at 60% only and that is the reason of improper cooling. This
really got me angry as it is not even an year since the replacement and
the AC was not required for atleast 3 months in between. I got the AC checked at the M/s P L Motors, Jaipur and after 4 days was told by the service manager that the compressor is faulty and needs to be changed entire with all the accessories! I denied doing that as it was ridiculous that spend another 35000/- when it was not an year that the thing was replaced. Now that compressor has stopped working altogether and I have no other other option than to lodge a complaint in the consumer forum. Was this information helpful? |
