RECURRING ISSUE OF BATTERY DRAINING AND CAR NOT STARTING IN CRETA SX. SINCE SEPT 2016 TO JULY 2017 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-== My mail of July 06 2017 to Hyundai Service team Given below is details of all the issues I have faced with Hyundai Creta – SX – Petrol - July 2016 model Looking at number of times the issue has happened I demand replacement of vehicle and nothing less. As you will observe I have asked for replacement of vehicle each time this has happened and still accepted the vehicle post review upon assurances that issue will not happen again Please review the case and call if no revert is received further steps like putting the case on social media and consumer court will be taken up. All the related papers are with Modi Hyundai – Mumbai and you may get connected with them In case you want to take vehicle for inspection pl send me a replacement Creta for daily use. Listed below are extract of mails I have sent to Service Managers at Modi Hyundai, Chunabhatti, Mumbai work shop time and again. • The team has been very cooperative and have supported each time but the fault is not getting detected and in course of this year various electrical components shave been changed and Each time I am advised that problem is resolved will not reoccur but the issue reoccurs. Listed herewith are all the mails I have sent to Modi Hyundai Mumbai from time to time. AA - My mail of Oct 22 2017 Customer care team at Hyundai India This is to put in record all the issues I have faced with Creta SX petrol since received in July 2016 Model. CRETA SX ; Regn # MH 02 EE 8067 Brought from - Modi Hyundai Santacruz West Mumbai Date of delivery. July 26 2016 Registered in the name of Citi bank - Mumbai : User - Pranav Anil Bhagat A - With in fortnight days or so after delivery there was a problem with auto door opening through use of black button on door handle. This was reported and i had taken the vehicle to Modi Hyundai Chunabhatti Mumbai workshop and met advisor Pravin. It was advised that door handle need to be replaced and will take 3 weeks to be received from Korea. B - On September 10 - I could not start the car as battery had drained out. RSA team helped with a jump start and car was working. C - During first service done on Sept[protected] at Modi Hyundai Service center advised battery is recharged and car scanned for any fault. Also the issue with door handle opening is corrected. D - Oct 20 2016 again i could not start the car as battery is completely drained. . I had called RSA and jump start was done. E - car is taken by Modi Hyundai for checking and I insisted that battery be changed and entire electric system be checked to avoid any recurrence of the same issue.. I am likely to get the care today evening. All these have happened in 3 months to new car and this experience is NOT a Hyundai experience. .. I want you to also connect with dealer and ensure proper care is taken . `IF THE SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN I WILL RETURN THE CAR TO SHOW ROOM FOR REPLACEMENT . Hope I am clear Pranav Bhagat [protected] EE - Mail of Dec 24 Customer Care at Hyundai India Further to my appended mail of Oct 26 2016 this is to advise that I had same trouble of battery drain out in ideal condition and in November 20 and again today Dec 24 2016 . Modi Hyundai team supported my service call and I have again delivered car at Modi Hyundai service center Sion, Mumbai for detailed scanning of car . I have stated very clearly that if the same issues happens again I will keep the car at service center and claim replacement of car as I am now fed up with the issue.. Looking at the frequent visits by service team members of my residential complex have decided not to buy Hyundai cars anymore.. Please have a detailed check done of my car and ensure this is last time battery drain issue is solved, i am available on my cell for any updates you require on the subject. I have had enough its around 8 months and I have sent to you and RSA help many times all records are with you and RSA call records... . I am now fed-up and wants that the car be changed.. I do not want this car . .. in case you are taking this car for service pl give me a replacement car .. or damages for the difficulties I face and embarrassment in neighborhood of suffering with new car.. Hope I am clear and that I have not to rush to consumer forum for this case.
