Hyundai Motor India — Complaint in respect of fraudulent Service by one of the Branches at Udupi. ---

Sir,
I am the registered owner of Vehicle bearing Reg. No:KA-20-Z-0401, Hyundai I20 Sports, Model 2012 purchased from Kanchan Hyundai, Udupi District. The vehicle’s periodical maintenance has been done till today in the aforesaid service centre. Since from the prior stage there was lot of misbehaviors and unusual negligence towards the vehicle service by issuing exorbitant service charges. It is a well known fact that even the service Executives gives fake estimated bills and thereby tried to extract money from the customers in a manner which is not lawful. It is true that so many times lot of customers have been raised many complaints against this issues, but unfortunately all those complaints were kept unanswered.
I am hereby bringing your attention a latest issue of fraud done by the aforesaid Service Branch in respect of repair of my vehicle. On 20/07/2022 I kept my vehicle only for full body paint and other minor repairs. The branch has undertaken to complete the aforesaid work job within 20 days and thereby informed me to take my vehicle back after the aforesaid work on 11/08/2022. When I visited the Service Centre and took back my vehicle after due verification, I was very astonished to know that the vehicle was not under running condition. The clutch and gear was not responding properly, when I have enquired the same with the Service Manager by name Alwyn Menezes and Service guy by name Sandeep, a very negligent answer given by them stating that, the vehicle was under the same condition when I kept for body paint. It is very unfortunate to say that, even though there was complaint as per them, what restrained them to inform me the same. After lot of heat arguments, they have agreed their mistake and under took to get the vehicle repair within few days and also they have handed over me another Car for my day-to-day activity.
On 22/08/2022, I have received a call by the service authority stating that the vehicle is under good running condition and there was no other problem exists. By evening the Driver handed over the Car to me and request for a Test Drive. When I drove my Car I was unable to engage gears and also to operate clutch my Car was even under total disaster condition than prior. The Driver also admitted that there is problem of clutch, gears and dry-shaft. I immensely refused to take back my vehicle and thereby sent the same with Driver to the Service Authority. The Service Authority till today did not contacted me and not even offered any explanations in that regard.
Being a loyal customer of Hyundai since many years these things are unexpected. There are other Car Companies who are offering a good Customer support and a loyal service back ground. But the Kanchan Hyundai Udupi deliberately cheating the customers and thereby trying to increase their service cost in the guise of fake estimated bills. It should be stopped otherwise the customers at large will be under uncomfortable situation of buying vehicles belongs to Hyundai Company.
I am hereby informing through this letter that, I need my Car with a good running condition as before within 1 week, other wise this issue will be published in all the social sites along with daijiworld Media.com and also I must be compensated for the loss caused for me due to the negligence and deliberate acts in respect of make Car Service. The issue will be carried to Consumer Court of Law if the response is not fruitful.
Kindly do the needful as soon as possible and also advise the Kanchana Hyundai Udupi to care their loyal customers by providing reasonable service maintenance as aforesaid.
