Hyundai Motor India — Complaints regarding service multiple times in Saini Hyundai Workshop, Tangra

I want to register a complaint against Saini Hyundai Work shop, Tangra for the experiences I have faced, specially the last one.

I had faced a bumper damage on my car hyundai verna 2018 model. So I took the car around 22nd of May and got it delivered by 2nd/3rd of June. Then I noticed they had put some saini hyundai sticker on my car. I told them to remove that, they assured me to do so by home visit.

Around 11/12th of June when I was driving my car, I noticed some noise for 30 seconds behind instrument cluster. After driving for another 15-20 minutes when I parked my car, I noticed my key lock unlock button was not working. Next day when I was going to Tangra workshop car indicators, headlight, ambient light, windows buttons were not working. I was in a hurry, so I just handed over the car to service person and asked him to call me and left.

After 2 hrs he called me and told that some wires were cut by rodents in ECM, some short circuits type of thing happened, and ECM got damaged. It will cost around 9K for repair and 50-55K for replacement.

As I was driving the car with the damaged ECM, BCM got damaged, and I need to replace it. It would cost around 16K.

He also told me some fuse or wiring harness types of things also got damaged. Its better to replace that part than repairing it. It would cost around another 50-55K.

So, I started speaking with other persons and local garages. They told me that BCM usually doesnt get damaged for these car. And bite cut by rodents can happen in workshop as it was there for around 10 days in parking condition.

So yesterday I called the service person to handover my car. He asked me the reason. I told him I would go to some other workshop or local garage, even I might go to Consumer Forum also. He asked me to speak to his senior.

When I reached there, I spoke to his senior and told about the conversations in phone. Service person simply rejected and told only some fuse and ECM got damaged. Senior personel requested me to keep the car for 1 day as he wanted to check by himself. The technician who inspected the car previous day, according to them was on leave.

I told them to give me job card/ service / inspection report and bill but they denied . I also told them if I left my car there for another day, they could have simply cut the wires, damage ECM BCM by their own have to prove them. Later they agreed to release my car with some hand written gate pass ( some electrical fault in car but customer didnt agree to repair) without printed report or bill.

So I contacted hyundai customer care, they patched my call to workshop, then they agreed to provide the report and bill. There were 2 such reports which should be identical. Some hand written notes were their in their copy, my copy was blank. Later when I opposed he wrote something in my report card and handed over to me.

Later before leaving that place, some manager told me to close that complaint I need to keep my car there for inspection, but I disagreed and asked them for home visit as now I have trust issues with your company.

MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES IN TANGRA WORKSHOP

I took the car for service once, when I took the delivery, my ac was not working, they later repaired it.

After another servicing, I found my car steering malalined, later they took care of that.

During some other work, they told me the windshield got broken, later they repair it. Though within few days I noticed lots of water in my car mattress which got rotten. Later I found there was water leakage through my car wind shield.

For chasing these problems muliple times, I suffered lots of losses both mentally and financially . Are you going to pay these losses!!! Or I should stop using hyundai cars or go to consumer forum or go to social media platforms!!!

So, these were some of the few experiences I have faced in last few days or last few years with your world wide famous and reputed and renowned company named as HYUNDAI.

In continuation of my previous complaint, I had sent the my car to Mukesh Hyundai Workshop. They repaired the ECM for 6 K rupees. BCM was changed, that costs around 20 K and other charges including labour were around 5K. No damage happened to wiring harness that according to you would cost around 55 K extra.

This is my earnest request to take farm action against these Saini Hyundai peoples to stop these kinds of frauds.
