I am also facing the same problem with my i10 grand sportz 2014 model diesel car. For a couple of days i parked my car undisturbed. After two days i tried to start it up. At first i didn't face any problem but after travelling one km the vehicle suddenly stopped while running. I approached the service centre to solve this problem. They found that the problem is with ecm. I came to know that many are facing the same problem. I would like to replace the ecm. But it almost costs 40000. I am confused. Suggest me something. - b. I had a similar problem with my Hyundai Santro (2000 model) and the service center told me to reprogram the ECM at a cost of Rs. 10, 000/- plus GST. However, I wanted to go for a second opinion and took my vehicle to a normal Car electric service center (not authorized) and they fixed it for Rs 600/- They just replaced a relay and did rewiring as they found rat's excretion inside the car's bonnet.

I'm sure, these service centers have targets and we poor customers fall prey trusting them.

I own a santro and Verna and i have spent thousands against spares whenever I go for periodic services. I never questioned their suggestions as I thought its for my good and I have to trust them. But now, I stopped visiting their service centers.
