Hi,
I have faced the similar problem like Dr Mustafa in my 7 month old Grand i10 Sportz model today morning (WB 08B 0971). I came to know of the common battery drainage problems of Grand i10 and associated starting issue of the car, in case of left unused for few days. Also from several web sites came to know about some software related malfunctioning for which it causes this problem.
After taking the car to the service center, initially I was told that no problem and everything is working fine. However I also was told that better to start the car at least once per day to avoid such problem. What the heck? I had several cars before and even presently have another Ford Fiesta, but never in my life time, I came across such message from any car company. It clearly gives me some wrong sensing here.
Subsequently when I raised about my web based information of common starting problem due to battery drainage and software related issue, then and only then, I was informed that it was actually there for some cars in lot of 2014 manufacturing and shouldn't be in my car as it's 2015 manufactured item.
Still as I was not much convinced and kept of insisting my worry, they uploaded some software and been told that this is for some dashboard cluster related upgrade (not again convinced why after so much of insistence they did that and if some upgrade for whatever section is available, why client need to push so hard).
However after doing so, still I was told (the same way as Dr Mustafa was told) to start the car in between if it's idle for sometime or at least put the on-off button in the fuse box in off stage. Again absolutely ridiculous to have such advice.
Anyway lets see, how it performs and if again it recur, shall definitely need to escalate.

I have a i10 grand petrol version 2014 sept model and have the same problem. I was also advised to switch off the fuse box when not in use and also start the car daily. Apart from this my car also has a starting problem. Feels like the petrol does not flow to the engine during the first ignition start of the day and feels like it is struggling for power. After pumping the pedal several times it starts. Surely there is a problem with i10 models and the company does not want to accept it. If any one has found a solution for this, please share to help others.
Thanks in advance.
