A light wave of rattling sound was noticed from the day my car was received. I promptly informed the authoritatives in the showroom about it but they informed that such a sound is common & that it would fade with more kilometres on the run. This did not happen & i followed up on the issue on my 1st service, to which i was asked to cover 5, 000 kms & then inform them of the problem persists. I have completed 10, 500 kms now and the sound directly from the engine has worsened the day after the first service.
I wish to raise a complaint against advaith hyundai motors showroom (Ashok nagar, bangalore) and both of the services were completed in advaith hyundai service centre (Vasanth nagar). The service was delivered by professionals who supposedly weren't qualified enough to find the source of the problem nor the solution to it. They just informed me that it was a manufacturing defect and that the manufacturing department should be held responsible for such sounds.
I've never seen such irresponsible & non responsive & non initiative workers ever. I'm really unhappy with the product which is under warranty. I wish to submit this complaint as a proof that i've noticed the sound & the problem from day 1 and within the warranty period. I wish that hyundai would ensure to me a perfect engine which would last long enough as promised & rather not mislead us into losses & dangers.
