[Resolved]  Hyundai Motor India Limited — FRAUD & HARASSMENT CASE against M/s UTKAL HYUNDAI (Services )

1. FRAUD CASE against M/s UTKAL HYUNDAI (Services ) : Although I was informed that my vehicle is ready on 21.09.2014 by Mr. Akshay ( Insurance in-charge o[censored]TKAL HYUNDAI), I found on 25.09.14 that the head light (RH Front )is a defective piece with lot of scratches over it and plastic welded to the clamp. This I discovered only when I saw lot of scratches over the replaced Head Lamp(RH) and personally opened the bonnet . It is a clear case of fraud, since in the bill ( already made by that time )a new head light was supposed to have been fitted Mr akshay pleaded innocence that he would have informed me about the same. But where does question of informing me comes, when he already said that the work is complete before a week and moreover I had never said them to get my car delivered hurriedly with a defective headlight fixed. 2. POOR WORK QUALITY : a. MOISTURE INGRESSED IN HEAD LAMP & FOG LAMP: After I got the delivery of vehicle, I found that moisture getting ingressed in both side head lamp and Fog Lamp. Though only RH Head lamp and Fog Lamp was replaced during the repair work, due to very poor workmanship and installation, this problem of moisture is found on both side Head Lamp and Fog Lamp. Some moisture gets reduced when the light gets heated up, but it reappears when the light gets switched off. Please find attached the photo snaps of the said problem. b. NO POLISHING WAS DONE AFTER PAINTING : On enquiring on “why the surface newly painted was not polished ? “, I was told that Polishing will be ideally done only after 8 days of painting and I was said to come any other day for only polishing purpose. On my continued perusal to finish the polishing, since I stay at Paradip ( 150 km away from Bhubaneswar ), they did the polishing and that too incompletely. c. INCOMPLETE DENTING & PAINTING : I found that though major jobs of replacement was done, yet few minor scratches, points of paint removal and dents ( a part of the accident )were still on the body. 10 days before I got my car delivered, I found that a dent was still remain un-attended, even though I clearly mentioned in the job order. Are we supposed to pin-point each and every point of damage. Do UTKAL HYUNDAI is not able to look at the damaged points which are clearly visible in naked eyes. For these points, M/s UTKAL HYUNDAI give excuse casually that for the same insurer approval might not be there. But I am sure that the same has not been informed to surveyor by M/S Utkal Hyundai. d. LOT OF SCRATCHES ON LH FRONT ALLOY WHEEL RIM : Apart from a very minor scratch on the said rim, My car was not having any major scratches on the LH front rim. M/s UTKAL Hyundai does a pre-entry inspection of the vehicle before its entry to its work-shop. That inspection report also doesn’t contain any such observation. But during the car delivery, I found lot of scratches on the earlier said rim. Though M/s UTKAL Hyundai have a system of pre-entry inspection, they denied that the scratch happened after the car got deposited. I would like to say that the scratch newly created is of such degree that It is clearly visible in naked eyes at a clear viewing angle. Please refer to the attachments for The pre-entry vehicle inspection and photos of rim as taken during insurer survey. In those photos also no scratches were there. So, I would like to request that strict actions be taken against Mr. P .D Goswami ( Service Manager, UTKAL HYUNDAI), and Mr. Akshay ( Insurance in-charge, UTKAL HYUNDAI) for the FRAUD CASE and harassing the customer with very poor & incomplete service quality and un-professional ship shown by the them. Also I hope that Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will live up to our reputation and provide its customer the services for which it is known. I want that all my pending problems mentioned above be resolved at the earliest with petrol being reimbursed for again taking my car from Paradip to Bhubaneswar and back.I also demand monetary compensation for the serious FRAUD & HARASSMENT done by M/s UTKAL HYUNDAI (Services).
