Hyundai Motor India — motor insurance under the hyundai assurance program | |||
This is regarding motor insurance under the hyundai assurance program, andheri, mumbai. My car (Mh 04 gu 8740) insurance is handled by above company. When insurance was due for renewal in may this year, ms nilima patil from shreenath hyundai, car insurance, andheri, mumbai contacted me and quoted a figure. I got a quote from modi group which was higher than that of ms nilima patil. So i decideds to go with shreenath hyundai, car insurance, andheri, mumbai and requested ms. Nilima patil for a quote so that the insurance covered “spare parts” also. Ms. Nilima patil told me that cost of spares might amount around rs 1, 000 and odd and suggested to go without, as premium would increase by over rs 1, 000. But i insisted and she gave me another quote. As i felt that the difference between the two quotes given by ms nilima patil was higher than rs 1, 000, i asked ms nilima about the same. She started talking to me in exclamatory sentences and in sentences ending in question/interrogative form. I told her that it was offending and requested to talk to me in statement form. I told her that if she wanted to tell me or inform me it should be in statement form. She was very rude and disconnected the phone! I did not expect such uncivilised form of behaviour from shreenath hyundai, car insurance, andheri, mumbai who handled future generali india insurance co. Ltd., aditya birla insurance brokers limited, a subsidiary of aditya birla capital limited! As car insurance is mandatory, i had to talk to mr. Girish nerurkar in shreenath hyundai, car insurance, andheri, mumbai for renewal and made the payment (Future generali india insurance co. Ltd., aditya birla insurance brokers limited, a subsidiary of aditya birla capital limited!) I also requested mr nerurkar to kindly deal with me for my car insurance renewal as i did not wish to deal with uncivilised and rude persons like ms nilima patil. Yet ms nilima sent me a message asking for additional payment. When i asked mr nerurkar about the additional amount, he said the premium amount was wrongly quoted by ms nilima patil, in which ‘no claim bonus’ was given for which i was not eligible as there was a claim. On further discussion, mr nerurkar admitted that ms nilima patil had not done her homework well before giving me the quotes. Thus i ended up paying a higher amount which was not lesser than that quoted by modi group. If that was the case i would have gladly gone with modi group as my car is since serviced by modi group and not shreenath hyundai. If companies like shreenath hyundai, car insurance, andheri, mumbai engage people like ms nilima patil who was negligent in her work, plight of customers would be pitiable!
