Hyundai Motor India — non refund of booking amount for santro 2018 | |||
I had made a payment of rs 11100/- against the pre-launch booking offer of the then new launching santro. Subsequently after visiting the hyundai showroom at plaza hyundai, mathura road, we didn't liked the car and sought for the refund of the booking amount. I had submitted a letter to that effect on 29 oct 2018. Its now nearing a year and the sales manager, mr chatterjee has not yet re-payed me the advance booking amount. Twice i had met him personally, and he was insisting on taking cash which i refused and asked for a cheque. Every time he and his employees came with the same excuse that the cheque signing officer is out of india. Now all mobiles are switched off and his office seems to be closed indefinitely. There is also no reply on mail by him or his superiors. I also had got a call from hyundai customer care few months back i f i am interested in switching this booking amount for another vehicle from another dealer. Frankly that time the options were limited with hyundai. But now with launch of venue and new i10 the cars are interesting, but i need the amount back to do fresh booking. Numerous phone call to hyundai customer care have rendered this to no effect of solving the issue as they come back with same answer that they are not able to contact the hyundai plaza dealer. I am sure if the hyundai management looks positively to resolve the issue there can be a solution to this. Was this information helpful? | |||
