I bought Hyundai Verna on Dec 28, 2016 against the buy back scheme of Hyndai from Safdarjung Hyndai, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon (Regn No. HR-99-AAZ1009). I had old verna of 2009 model and I opted for Verna again because of good experience with the vehicle.
I’ve following complaints against the Dealer:
(i) When I took the delivery of the vehicle on 28th December 2016, reverse sensor of the vehicle was not working. I insisted for the delivery next day after rectifying the discrepancy. However, I was told all the formalities has been completed and delivery cannot be withheld. I had no option but to take the delivery. I was told to bring the vehicle anytime to get this fixed. I informed them that I won't be able to come to the service centre for the next 3-4 days. I got back on 02nd January and took out the vehicle out and unfortunately while reversing the vehicle, my car got damaged (minor though). My car would not have damaged if the sensors were properly.
I therefore request the Company to rectify the discrepancy and repair the damage.
(iii) At the time of purchasing the vehicle, I enquired about gearlock and then I was promised a complimentary package worth Rs 8, 000/- comprising of gearlock, teflon coating and rusting etc etc. This was informed to me a day prior to the delivery and based on the trust, I did not insist for this offer in writing. When I went to take the delivery on 28th, I was informed that gearlock is not included in the package. As I had no offer in writing (which I did not insist based on my prior experience with Hyundai), I could not argue much. But it certainly left a bad impression as the amount involved was very small.
(iv) Funding with HDFC was a nightmare. It took me 4 days to get the details in writing. I was earlier planning for the delivery on 25th but the bank officials were not inclined to provide the details over the email. Based on continued persuasions of 3-4 days, I finally managed to get the required details in writing. This was the experience which will be always be there in my memory.
(v) The most efficient team in the whole process was buy back team as they were ready with their checklist of the documents and it took just half an hour to complete the process. Was this information helpful? |
