[Resolved]  Hyundai Motor India — Regarding break failure in Hyundai I20 Sportz

Dear sir/madam, I am the owner of Hyundai i20 car with details as HYUNDAI I2o MODEL-i20 sportz 1.2 BSIV REg. no. HP62B 0562 Chasis no. MALBB51BLDM600282 ENGINE NO. G4LADM123224 I bought this car from Sant hyundai, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh on 30th Dcember 2013. I would like to bring to your notice a serious life threatening incident which happened with me today ie 19 july 2014 with this car in Shimla city, Himachal Pradesh . I was driving a downhill road at a slow speed and to give side to a bus comimg from opposite side as i applied brakes, it appeared that brakes completely became nonoperational and hard. I applied brakes many times but they were just not working, eventually car hit an electric poll in front and stopped. I with my family were in shock as we were on top of 100m deep gorge and this incident could have ended our lives. It is to inform you in strictest sense that this tragic incident had happened because of some serious technical and mechanical failure of the car. I have also came to know from the internet and other sources that this had happened with other customers in the past especially in hilly terrains. Hyundai an international company of highest repute in credibility and customer satisfaction, it seems has ignored this serious issue from some time. I would like you to take this present issue very seriously and do the needful at an earliest. I hope your timely actions will satisfy a customer who had faith in your product and services and will prevent taking this issue to legal level. Hoping the quickest and best response from you.
