I have running hours of just 1250km in 2 years and the power steering has failed. The service technician informed me that since the vehicle is out of warranty, I will have to pay Rs. 7000/- approx. for changing the electrical steering motor. On further investigation found that the carbon brush for the motor has developed fault, but since the carbon brush cannot be replaced individually, the full motor has to be replaced which will cost whopping Rs. 6000 +. And it is ridiculous that the motor should develop fault at just 1259 km of running !! I think Hyundai sould definitely replace it free of charge . Was this information helpful? |
