[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — cab booking | |||||
The harassment that i went through just because goibibo didn't sent me the otp & neither the cab details was shared before 2hrs of departure. 8th oct i receive a call from goibibo cab driver some at around 8pm, confirming my travel i was rest assured about the cab arrival but then next morning 9th oct'18 he surprised me asking the 'otp' which i didn't receive, all attempts of reaching out to goibibo contact center was thwarted. Infact the ivr when fed with my rmn # [protected] said no upcoming trips which was quite surprising (Infact later i found customer reviews mentioning this deficiency in goibibo ivr) anyways for about 1hr o[censored]nfruitful attempts of reaching goibibo contact center i thought of declining my trip, since early morning getting stranded with luggage & family was becoming painful. Goibibo driver by the name mr. Sachin kept of nagging about how even he didn't receive any sms/ivr calls & ur contact center no. For drivers also was a waste of time, guess he was building up his own play. Finally! When i was about to lift my luggage and decline the trip, he promptly said, "sir, if you want i will take you on private basis, since you are travelling to shirdi after all", to my surprise he even mentioned that he will decline the trip as not on-boarded and i can pay him the full amount what i was suppose to pay to goibibo, i. E. Rs. 5400/- and rs. 10/- for any additional km as committed by goibibo that way i won't loose my trip anyways my hotel at shirdi was also booked and i had paid for it in full. I accepted this offer, given that fact the trip was already planned & i had taken a leave from office, finally while returning he played all his tricks and said if he stopped the cab at nasik while returning wherein we wanted to stop for visiting 2 temples, and which was anyways on the route itself, he will charge us rs. 2500/- extra, now i was helpless and had to pay him extra which was actually rs. 10/- per km became a stop - to stop money guzzling business for your so call cab partner. (If goibibo guys have google maps, they can check that too, nasik is very much on the way to mumbai, and not a separate trip, to this the cab driver said, sir, google maps shows wrong information lol! Can fight much on this!) Finally when we reached mumbai (At powai) he said "sir thoda adjust kareingey" i will have to go home urgently why don't you take ola and i bear the expense"when after a lot of haggling he finally agreed to drop us home" citing professionalism, which is supposed to be basics. Alas! We arrive at our home praying to have reached safely such unprofessional behaviour, money minded cab partners you guys have on-boarded who ensure every opportunity is monetized. When i saw his meter it was just 585.9 kms, (Start reading 165683 km end reading 166268 km) What ideally should have been a rs. 860/- extra turned out to be rs. 2500/- extra (Considering the gocash into account) And all this horror and unpleasant experience just because i didn't receive the "otp", for which no one to be blamed for but goibibo, I usually book ola outstation, took this trip with goibibo as 1st time try out experience, if this happened with you would you ever prefer booking goibibo cabs ever again for even airport drop? Rest i leave the decision to goibibo to compensate me appropriately as per consumer forum rules and fine sense of theri wisdom. Attached is the bill, not sure if goibibo will de-list the partner or not since he claims to have 5 star ratings on your platform. If he was 5 start then i wonder what is a 3 star cab driver?
