Ibibo Group / Goibibo — hostels payment done but goibibo cancelled it and didn't refund my amount | |
I had to travel to delhi and thus, i booked a dorm through goibibo for me and a friend of mine. I booked it with all the money i had left which was ₹3080. I successfully completed the transaction. Goibibo confirmed it and even sent me the payment id htlntkd8as. But soon they cancelled my booking out of no where (Which certainly must be the right of consumer) and told me that the amount would be refunded. They they marked it as payment failed. They have left me merely with the bank reference number[protected] for state bank of india whose debit card i used for the transaction. The bank has got no clue pertaining to this. It's tormenting that a student like me is now penniless because of goibibo. I feel betrayed and it feels like a cyber fraudulent. I contacted them but it wasn't helpful at all. I've attached the evidences including the statement of my bank account which clearly shows the deducted amount by goibibo. I totally rely on the consumer forum now.
