Dear sir, i would like to raise a complaint against the hospitality industry under your supervision. My complaint is in regard to the hotel booking through goibibo app, i have booked an property the cinderella hotel on 25th april 2020 ref booking pnr [protected] goibibo booking idhtlmku5kex amount pad - rs.34809. The booking was free cancellation option till the check in time. Due to an covid situation i have changed the plan and called the property. While cancelling the hotel the refundable amount was shown whole amount and the same of rs.34809 and the mode of refund was my credit card, and also it was mentioned that the amount will be reflect within 5 to 14 working days. Hence, based on the information i proceeded for cancellation. Surprisingly, the booking amount of rs.34809, goibibo has refunded in goibibo wallet instead of my credit card from where i had made the payment.
I was shocked and raised an request for refund at help support at goibibo app ref ticket id 31506713. There support team name roshan & deepak has deny for the refund and asked me to use that heft amount for future booking. I was shocked and asked them to file a complaint as it was nowhere mentioned. Moreover they informned me that they have changed the mode of refund becoase of pandemic and the same rule was nowhere mentioned.
I would like to request your kind intervention for arranging the refund, as the amount is so high and i do not have any plan for future booking. Here i have attach the voucher and mail which i have sent them for refund.
