Ibibo Group / Goibibo — payment got deducted but ticket not booked | |
I tried booking a flight ticket from jaipur to mumbai on the 28th of august, 2019 using goibibo application. The transaction was done through the gateway of paypal to avail a discount offer. I used my sbi debit card linked to paypal for the transaction. So, the money got deducted but the ticket did not get booked. But i had to book the ticket, so i did it again (The booking). I received a receipt of the transaction of the failed booking from paypal mentioning the transaction to done to goibibo. So, i chatted with goibibo customer service, which asked me to contact the bank directly since the amount wasn't received on its end. But on contacting sbi, it was told to me that bank cannot help since the transaction was done via the third party. So, i wrote to both paypal and goibibo and tried to speak to the customer care executive of both. Paypal replied to the mail, but the call couldn't connect since it was saying busy for the whole day. Goibibo did not respond to my mail and the customer care service is the worst since there was not any option to get to talk the customer care executive. Paypal mail said the issue was raised to goibibo, but i did not receive any mail from goibibo. I am feeling really helpless. Kindly do the needful.
