    I am a ICICI customer since 2007. Since 1 year I could not use my account as I am out of the country. Now when I am trying to access my net banking, it is showing that login is disabled . I have tried to contact to customer care, but as I put my debit card number there, they says its not valid. I am not able to talk to a customer care representative even. How do I enable my net banking? Please help.

        I never think one famous bank is behavior like this.Last before month i paid the credit card amount one day late.So ICICI Bank put the charges as late payment charges.Including this late payment charge my card limit was crossed.For that also bank put the Over limit charges.I did not paid any amount for next month then some executive came to my house and promised that he asked the bank to reversal those amounts.After two days i got call from ICICI bank ambattur branch - one person spoken that he is going to reversal those amounts.So i be-leave that call and paid the amount online it self.
        But when i saw my current month statement that payments are not reversal and again bank has charged the same charges for this month also.After i saw my current month statement only i realized that that call was fake and for collection purpose collection executives are doing like this.

          Dear ICICI Bank Executive Manager Officer Nodal Officer Icici Bank credit card division head

          I m extremely unhappy and hurt by bad services and response from ICICI Bank customer care executive of credit card as well as phonebanking.I made 50 calls and still not able to get solution a small amount of few bucks Rs.10 turned into Rs.3000 its cheating and fraud from ICICI Bank credit card division.

          I m one of the oldest, privileged and preferred customer since many years approx 12 years since ICICI Bank Started i am there banking customer and Credit Card customer.I am facing a problem since last 6 months i did called and informed Phonebankingcustomer care executive but they are not willing to listen,understand and solve my problems. I made arround 50 calls just to re-generate my internet banking passwords which is not working since 6 months i have opted for generating password online and i am habitual of netbaking usage since 5 years.just because netbaking is not working my payment of two credit cards delayed in month of may 2011 though i have already paid all the dues still i m getting outstanding amount statments since then and its increasing every month i did called customer executive for reversal of wrong charges and penalty they committed me for the same in may then on 14 th july but whenever i m receiving statments amount is increasing every month since last 4 months they have charged Rs.2107 on one credit card and Rs.732 on another credit card i have made arround 20 calls today and explained the same problemto them but they are not solving it .I m still unsuccesful in generating my transaction password for netbanking in icici bank made 20 calls today total 50 calls still unsuccessfull .Do i deserve better reply and services from ICICI Bank as privileged customer i am wondering what they are doing with there normal customers .its really cheating how can a bank can charge penalty on no dues ?just i delayed payment for few days and it was genuine reason and banks error as my netbanking is not working and i alreadyinformed about the problem since long time and after payment i did called customer care to reverse the small amount charged as penalty now i wonder how come that small charged converted from Rs.10 to Rs.2107 and Rs.732 is there anyone who will pay penalty of Rs.3000 for not able to pay Rs.10 that too in just 3-4 months i hope i get solution of my problem from ICICI Bank as i m there Privileged and preffered customer otherwise i will really close my icici bank account icici direct account and all credit cards.

          I hope i get justice from Icici Bank and Icici Bank credit card division i posted this article to help
          others who are suffering from icici bank credit cards wrong and unresonable charges penalty and interest charges .Its posted for knowledge and awarness of Icici Bank customers old and new my contact number is [protected] i have called phonebanking customer executive 20 times today wasted my 2 hours and explained all the problems

          ICICI Bank Credit Card — Wrong information From customer care Executive

          On the assurance of customer care executive that my card will be replaced I blocked the credit card .Because of address change issue I was unable to apply for the card for last 2-3 weeks.Today when I applied for the replacement (request No.SR[protected] they rejected without any reason.I only have one point here that they should not have done this without any reason or advance information.They should have at least informed me that there is a chance that I may not get the card replaced. I don't have any other credit card at this moment. Please do the needful in this regard.I will be highly obliged for your favor.Presently I don't have any credit card because of which I am unable to do most of the things, I planned my budget keeping in mind that I have credit card .This really shows dictator style of working in democratic country

          ICICI Bank — Wrong Dues on Credit Card

          Dear Sir,

          I had paid my bill for ICICI credit card through my ICICI Netbanking one day before the due date. ICICI charged me penalty & late dues of 2000Rs just because the amount took 2 days to credit from their on portal. When I raised a complaint in their system, they gave me a discount of 50% stating that I should bear the rest. I raised the complaint again and there was no response from them. Since they did not respond, matter was in abeyance. But after six months they have raised the actual amount of zero to amount of 5300INR, which they forcibly deducted from my ICICI savings account with my prior consent.

          I am helpless in this. Kindly help.

          I am waiting for the solution of my problem i hope i get the justice i have got more then 5 calls but since then no action has been taken on credit card dues i m still waiting for the positive response from icici bank credit card division!!!

            I had used Instafuel prepaid fuel card for petrol at HP petrol pump , Hind Automobiles near joker cinema,kalyan-west on 31/01/2011 for Rs.200/- but you were bedited Rs.400/- from my account . I reported this to icici customer care on 15/02/2011 and they suggested me that to take refund from HP petrol
            pump as you have already credited amount to HP petrol pump. Then I went to HP petrol pump 10 to 15 times for the same . At last , they have issued me a letter stated that their account is debited by bank for Rs.200 and they suggested me to take refund from ICICI bank.

            I request icici to give me refund of Rs.200 /- but they refused to refund the money.

              Hi,

              I received calls yesterday evening from ICICI Bank asking about where abouts about a person nad when is he going to pay the loan. I vagely know the person and had no information of his whereabouts. On saying this.. the person.(Ajit) started abusing saying Randi.. I know u are sleeping with him.. I[censored] are not satisfied with one.. I will give ur no to my friends u can sleep with all of them.etc.. etc.. He would not give me any information as to when was the loan taken or any other details.. He repeatedly kept calling and abusing..

              I have not received any calls from ICICI bank asking me if I would be guaranter for some bodys loan or any such thing, nor was I aware that some one has taken a loan like that. What do I do.. all I have is the no from where this person is calling.,

                I used ICICI ATM for withdrawal of money at GB Road New Delhi as on 08 Aug 2011. But my transaction of Rs 500/- was failed and amount deduct from my saving account.ICICI has not refund my same amount to my account. Please forward my problem and informed me at the earliest.

                ICICI — Refund of my wrongly done transaction

                I have an saving account(A/C:[protected] in ICICI bank, sector - 18, Noida. By mistalekly I did the internet banking transfer of Rs 5000/- to some other A/C[protected] non activated A/C), which is in Gurgaon on 4th of Aug 2008. Suddenly I realized that I did some mistake, and call to customer care imidiately and they suggest me to visit the branch where my A/C has. Next day 05/08/08, I visited the branch, but initially they were in no mood to solve the problem (I met Branch Manager Opertaion : Mr Gaurav) but finally they accepeted my application. But next two week I didn't get any response from them, again I visited the branch on 14th Aug, but they don't had any update. They even don't care about my presence and my problem. They just doing other so called work. After seeing unacceptable kind of response from them, I met to branch manager, and she assured me to have some response on monday. Then again I visited on monday, but result was same. But at that day Mr Gaurav (Branch Manager: Opeartion) wrote the mail to Gurgaon branch (as per him the mail id belongs to that branch) regarding the issue in front of me and assured me to get the response in two days. But I havn't seen any response from them. Then I wrote the complian to ICICI bank through internet banking with all the detail, against that they respond me that the issue will get get resolve in next three days. And same day I got the call from Sector -18 branch against the online complian, again I described him all the detail and also notify him that I have alraedy given an application to your branch. Next day I got the call from Guagaon branch, and she again asked for all the detail also a hard copy of application by courier, then I told her that I have alraedy provided the appliaction to your bank (sector - 18 branch) and also through internet banking. But she insisted me to get quick response, they need an application. Then same day I faxed the application. But after that I havn't heard any thing from them. Then I replied back to ICICI bank against the response I got from ICICI bank through online banking, and next day they reverted back with the response that they have lodge a high priority complian and will get result in three working days. But even higher priority complain has the same result.
                So, kindly suggest, what the next step I should take to get my money back.

                    Why nobody at ICICI bank, cares for customers??? I was having salaried account with them since sept 2008 and suddenly in feb 2011 it changed to normal saving account. how come is it possible without informing me???

                    now they want me to come to bank and submit so and so document.. a complete hell....

                    yeah i do have received the call... but have already told the representative that it is not my mistake that my account status code is not updated in your bank..i am not going to submit any document as it is totally bank's mistake.

                    very sorry to inform you but i would like to change my salaried account from ICICI to other back as i am very unhappy with ICICI.

                    This is not just the matter that i am paying rs 5.00 or so for NEFT transactions.. but its really hard to believe that a bank which says we are very concerned about its customer does such mean things.. its really a poor bank and has poor service.

                      It is very surprising to receive the above referred letter wherein the bank asking for Lien marked on my bank account towards unpaid outstanding dues on my credit card. Under this context I would like to draw your serious note on the following facts:-

                      1) That the above referred Credit card was SETTLED by me on 27th of August’2009 and full and final payment of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) in cash was made.
                      2) That the Settlement letter bearing reference no: ICEASKOL/082009/11361/1 dated 27th August’2209 and the Payment Receipt bearing no: 9001245 for the said sum of Rs.10,000/- dated 27th August’2009 was received by me.
                      3) That in-spite of the Full and Final Settlement of the card several phone calls claiming to be attached with your bank frequently called upon me asking for the payment which I had already made.
                      4) That in the month of January’2010 I personally went to your Kolkata office situated at 2, Upper Wood Street and produced the original copy of all the documents related to the said settlement and the same was confirmed to be ok by your officer concern.
                      5) That I am in receipt of a Demand Legal Notice from one Mr. Ananda Basu Advocate dated 27th April’2011 asking to pay a sum of Rs.29,910.34 as current outstanding on my said card.

                      In reference to the same I would appeal you to take serious and immediate action to stop threats and harassments failing to which I shall be bound to take harsh legal action against your bank.

                        I am a holder of SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD HOLDER and happened to be admitted to the hospital on the premises of where ICICI BANK has a branch, On the evening of 3rd august i was discharged and in order to pay the bill of the hospital, i utilized the services of the said bank for withdrawal of money, Since i needed Rs 15000 i inserted the card for the said amount and the request was rejected because i was unaware that the cash limit for withdrawal was Rs 10000/ only, Subsequently , i was able to withdraw Rs 10000/ for which i got a valid print out and my card. After 5 min or so i again withdrew Rs 5000/ for which i received a valid transaction receipt and the cash . But my ATM CARD was not ejected !
                        Hence the approached the Customer care Manager and explained to him the above said transactions. I showed him the valid transaction printout and asked for a remedy.
                        The response given was that they were helpless in this matter and insisted that i approach my parent Bank for lodging a complaint in this matter. Further, i requested the bank to at least acknowledge in writing as to the possible reason for non ejection of my card even after successful withdrawal of cash with valid receipt!
                        I even insisted on signing on any document they may feel necessary to fulfill their part of obligation. They simply refused to do the needful.
                        Therefore , sir, what can i do in this regard? I was also physically impaired for i had been just discharged from the hospital after a leg operation which will confine me to the bed for the next 14 days.
                        My complaint to your Forum is .
                        Can a Bank resort to such treatment as per rules ?
                        What remedy can i seek from my Parent Bank?
                        What if my Bank charges any money for replacement of my Card ?
                        And, what is the point in having access to any banks atm facility if this thing happens to others ?

                            I had issued a cheque no. 449897from my savings account no.[protected] on 19.02.07 for a sum of Rs 25000/-. Though the proceeds were debited from my savings A/c but the corresponding proceeds were not credited to the Metro housing Society's account.

                            This was revealed when I asked for refund from Housing Society. When Society informed that the credit against cheque no. 449897 has not been received than I asked for a certificate of transaction from ICICI Bank. After repeated follow up I was informed that the corresponding credit is lying in suspense account so no certificate can be given to me.

                            I asked for a refund of Rs 25000/- from ICICI along with the Fd interest. This interest is being denied to me along with Rs 25000/-. May I request for your kind intervention in this regard.

But as of now ICICI Bank is consistently denying me the benefit of Fixed deposit interest on Rs 25000/- which they have enjoyed since 19.02.07.

                            After crediting my savings account no.[protected] ICICI Bank Ltd have presumed that no interest needs to be paid and they will be able to manage the things to their convenience. May I request for your intervention to that an Fixed deposit interest may be paid to me since 19.02.07 on Rs 25000/- for the delay.

                                  It is stated that undersigned were sanctioned home loan of Rs.10,00,000/- by the ICICI bank in June 2011. That Rs.5,500/- were charged as processing fee and 2400 TSR charges. Even prior to making payment of 2400 towards, I have categorically shared with bank representatives of the property documents. Later on, the Bank did not disburse the loan amount citing one reason or other and, finally, on 30.07.2011, one day before the execution of registration refused to give the loan. Thus, being aggrieved, I wish to recovery of Rs.7,700/- charges and Rs.25,000/- as damages for mental harassment and physical discomfort.
                                  While I was assured that loan will be processed with-in 15-20 days of application, after 2 months of application submission, just one day prior to my last date of registration (this date for registration was originally fixed based on ICICI bank representative verbal commitment), bank personnel called to inform that loan can not be sanctioned. Thereby putting me in precarious position and severe mental agony.

                                  ICICI Home Loan — refusal to help

                                  I work overseas and while i was overseas.. a builder from trivandrum aswathy gardens approached us with with a housing plan .. according to the plan the house would ber build in 6 months, , with ICICI providing the mortgage.and aftre the loan being sanctioned to us it would be given to the builder only at particular stages after the satisfactory work has been completed.we took a loan for 70 lakh IRS with a down payment of nearly 12 lakh[estimate figure] the work commenced immediately and we left india for continuing our jobs.. and it so happened after a certain stage the work was delayed.. for along time.. the builder gave us excuses..but the bank kept pressuring us to release the money to the banker though the work was not completed on time.. any way the work was completed by 2 years.. meanwhile we had change of job etc.. and moved to US but unfortunately the financial situation has changed and caused job losses and we requested ICICI several times to for help because of our financial situation .. but we never got a positive reply.. all they did was kept asking us to pay the monthly EMI.. not offering any kind of solution.. the point is the bank along with the builder put us customer is deep trouble by not completing the work, , but issuing the money and now not giving us any option or making any changes in the loan agreement.. please suggest

                                    Hello,

                                    I had taken loan from ICICI bank in 2004 for a property in Indirapuram, Now I want to foreclose that loan account from my own pocket, The bank official is saying i need to pay the 2.24% foreclosure chages other than principal amount.

                                    Is it justifiable?

                                    ICICI Bank Ltd — Foreclosed my loan account

                                    I have taken a Loan of Rs 86, 000 on my credit card at interest rate of 18% for 48 months. I have paid EMI's for 12 months. My loan account was foreclosed without intimating me.

                                    The bank officials are telling that we have foreclosed the loan account and the total amount due is RS 99, 000.

                                    I have taken a loan of Rs 86000 and paid EMI's for 12 months.now they are asking me to pay Rs 99, 000.

                                    They are harassing by making calls

                                    Hello,

                                    I got a call from ICICI mumbai branch from Mr. Vinay. He asked me about all the details about how I arrange the money for foreclosing the loan, I explained him that I have not taken any loan from any other financial institution. I have arranged the money from my own pocket. Then, he confirmed that he will discuss about this matter with sector 50 branch of Noida. And if I have not taken any loan, I shall definately revert back my foreclosure charges. Now next day, I got a mail a below and I replied also, but still no response.

                                    My complaints:

                                    1. If you don't want to return my money, why you were asking so many questions. Who are you to ask such questions to me?

                                    2. I got below reply "We wish to inform you that the offer is applicable to Housing Finance Companies only and not on banks. Thus this offer will not be applicable in your case." Is ICICI home finance is not housing finance company?

                                    3. Why you are not replying to my mail?

                                    Pls revert back early.

                                    I got a reply from ICICI ctm care "We wish to inform you that the offer is applicable to Housing Finance Companies only and not on banks. Thus this offer will not be applicable in your case." I contacted ICICI they told me that ICICI bank and ICICI Home finance are two different companies. The perosn said that ICICI bank loan account starts from LB while ICICI home finance loan account starts from LH.

                                    I tried to find out this information on internet, but I couldn't. They are simply cheating the customers.

                                      Hi Sir/Mam,

                                      This is Shalini. I wanted to buy a iPhone from eBAY which costed Rs.14,500. So i traferred the money Rs.14,500 to owner SYED HAZI but he did not send any iphone to me. I complained to ICICI BANK but they did not take any action. I complained to Police also but no one gave me justice. Please help me with this issue and help me in getting back my money.
