Dear Sir,
I hold a current account with ICICI Bank Ltd. in Aurangabad. My company name is Kenstar Web Solutions. I also have the Merchant Banking (ED Machine for Credit card swiping). I wasn't operating my account since a year, though the charges were regularly being deducted monthly and they deducted more than Rs.4000/- for one year. Recently, on 23rd August 2010, my account received a wire transfer of Rs. 224,000/- from a client in UK through bank. The very next day, my account was debited Rs.1,46,700/-. I registered the complaint on the same day on 24th August 2010 on customer care. The customer care has asked me to wait for 48 hours to get to know why the amount was debited. Roughly, they say, this amount was debited due to a transaction entry during the year 2007. Now they are not telling me the reason for this big amount of debit and asked me to wait for 15 days. I have already issued a cheque to another party amounting Rs. 2 lacs and I do not have the balance due to this debit.

How would I know why they debited this amount and after 4 years? I am very upset with this behaviour of ICICI and I do not trust this bank anymore. Please advice what should I do regarding this issue and how can I trust the bank for any reason they give. Its not the question of couple of thousands but around 1.5 lacs of rupees. Please advice.     Hi,
    I have made a Debit card Purchase of Rs. 2049 at Lifestyle Store in Chennai. I made Payment through my Debit card, But the amount debited twice from my account same tranaction of Rs. 2049 was occured twice from it.. I am worried what to do. I contacted ICICI they say its a two different Transactions and Lifestyle says they have recieved only one Payment. M very confused dont know where my money got stuck. Please advice me what action to be taken next.

      Dear Sir/ Madam,
      This is to inform that while submitting request for a new cheque book, I have mentioned my new mobile number. This was not done once but thrice I wrote my new mobile number. Inspite of that the same was not updated in the record. I just want to know one thing that why they have provided a space in the slip and mentioned that please put your mobile number if the same has been changed.
      If you speak to the customer care they do not have any answer.

      What is the use of providing a space for the change of mobile number in the requisition slip if they do not intend to change in their Database.

      PLEASE DON'T TRUST ON ICICI BANK

      I Have a ICICI Account with last 6-8 months. I have online fund-transfer facility. But when the need is has arrived It didn't worked out properly. I am trying to raise my complaint from last 6-7 days. But no action is taken yet. Online means quick function but they are not processing the work since last 3 days. so never ever to trust ICICI in emergencies as they are BIG .

      I have an acct at ICICI - Film Nagar, Hyderabad where I visited to change Mobile No across the table through formal papers, but I was dissuaded by bank representative saying it is done only online through specific account portal. But I find it nowhere, may be unable to find a right button to get in to. Can ICICI Bank let us know how we can change registration of Mobile No from one to other.

      This is urgent like many others, I also have a changed situation.

      Better you can add a feature to send OTP to customers registered mail id's also. It is very useful for us while changing mobile number and while in remote location (some times we are getting signal problems in office also). So please do the needful for your ICICI customers.

        Subject : ICICI bank is playing with my earned money and is neither returning my cheque nor is crediitng in my saving account.
        Honourable Sir,
        This is to bring to your kind information that A cheque no 825304 dated [protected],of SBI Bank,Branch Amritsar Cantt BRANCH,AMRITSAR OF Amount Rs.32112/-was deposited on[protected] in ICICI bank ATM Branch,Sodal Road,Jalandhar at 10 a.m for the credit of saving a/c no[protected].,Mall road,Amritsar. The cheque was a Government Cheque issued on maturity of national saving certificates.Now after 9 days ,the cheque has not been credited in my account.Either these People have utilised my amount for ICICI bank or It has been intentionally misused by your bank for illegal activities.
        I immediately want my cheque no 825304 put in clearing on[protected] to be credited in my account with interest .
        Neither ICICI Bank is returning my cheque nor bank is crediting in ny saving account.

        kindly do somethign and take a action against this dirty bank.

          Dear Sir
          I am holding ICICI Credit card and i made a transaction on 8-7-2010 of Amt.Rs.46900
          and requested the bank team to convert to EMI. During the month of Auguest i called up the helpdesk people to check the as on out standing due since i need o close the EMI. they informed me to pay only Rs.42333 as on date out statnding duing the month of Aug 2010 based on the words of the helpdesk i have payed a single payment to ICICIduring the month of Aug 2010.

          Now am getting a call from them ICICI bank telling that there is a out standing amt of Rs.5311
          when i checked with them they told that they have adjusted teh EMI , but i have told to close the EMI which they have done and asking me to pay again .

          Kindly help me in this issue .

            Hello,

            I the undersigned have an account with ICICI Bank in the joint name with my wife and I access it through online to check balances either from my office or home.

            On 17th of June, my wife got a call from a person called "Sunil" who claimed to be calling from ICICI Bank and further said, since they are updating their internal system, will be sending SMS to my wife's cell which will contain some number, which she needs to tell him. My wife got 2 SMS containing 5 digit Pin no which initially she didn't respond but this guy reminded her calling again and again to revert with those no, which my wife responded back.

            Later in the eve, when I checked the online balance, came to know that an amount of Rs 50500/- has been withdrawn from my account, I immediately got in touch with ICICI Bank customer service, who informed me that money has been credited to 2 person's account, who are also ICICI Bank customer and he freezed their account for any transaction ad also informed me that I would 100% get back my money since money is available in the beneficiaries account which was freezed. He informed me that ICICI Bank would carry out an investigation which would take appx a month time and also blocked my internet banking user id and advised me to register a complaint with cyber crime cell which I carried out.

            There was no update from ICICI Bank for 2 months of the complaint and hence, I checked with ICICI Bank branch and got shocked to know that I wouldn't get money back as they have registered a statement in their record saying, I have replied to any fishy, fraudulent ICICI Bank mail, while the fact is I have never entertained any of this kind of mail, in fact the same was informed to the investigating officer from ICICI Bank and Police authorities. I also informed the branch manager that their customer service executive has blocked the bank account of 2 beneficiaries and money was lying to their account which is been freezed, which was verified by the branch manager and confirmed but still he couldn't assure me the refund of my money, which I am not able to understand why?????

            I have a doubt on the integrity of the ICICI Bank, as money is lying to the beneficiaries account which is been freezed but still they don't intend to refund me back.. pl suggest what to do??

            if this is the case then you must go for consumer court and file a case against ICICI Bank. Before going to consumer court try to get that much evidence as much you can. Probably when they will receive an notice from bank they'll get shocked and will quickly respond and may solve your problem.

            But you shouldn't stop here. As you file a case against ICICI then call to local newspaper and reporters about this and popularize it. This will force bank branch manager to take necessary action or his reputation would be down. No any manager would want to get uncovered for his mismanagement and bad intention. This is enough for them and if still they don't wake up you just go ahead and hire an expert lawyer and punish that bank.

                1. They did not intemated me before debited my cheque of processing fees as committed @ the time of application... and Mr. Nilesh bhagchandani and Mr. Ajay apologized for not giving me any intemation...
                2. They told me about insurance of my home but didnt tell me the amount and today they are charging me appx 35000 as home insurance and .5% processing fees on that amount.... the same thing has not conveyed me @ the time of application...

                These are the only examples...

                After that Mr. Ajay Menon came into picture and I explained all incident to him and asked for terminate my file as I was not satisfied with the customer support... he told me I'll escalated your request and get back to you, but didnt respond me afterwords...

                  Hi Team,

                  I am an ICICI Bank credit card user and i recently came to know about consumer complaints so i am launching this complaint in this forum hoping it will help me or any other victim of ICICI Bank.

                  I was a regular user of ICICI bank credit card and never defaulted the amount in 18 -20 months period. One of the month due to some financial adjustments i was not able to pay the credit card amount, from that month i stared getting recovery calls from ICICI bank and i informed them that this month due to some financial adjustments i was not able to pay the amount so i will be paying it next month with all the due charges. After this conversation the ICICI bank agent stated abusing me and started giving bad words. The statements which he used was "If you are incompetent to pay why are you using the card". He also abused me on parents name.

                  Since that month ICICI Agents are coming to my place and harassing me my old parents, due to this if something happens to my parents ICICI bank will be responsible for this.

                  Scenario 1:
                  One of the executives came to my house and informed my parents that we are going to seal your residence in an hours time so take out all your belongings and be ready.

                  Scenario 2:
                  Next month one of the executives called me and abused me on my religion saying people belonging to your caste are always in the defaulters list. The name of the person was farhan and his contact number is[protected].

                  Scenario 3:
                  Next month one of the executives called me and said that we will be getting police to you place and will be arresting you so be ready.

                  Scenario 4:
                  Next month one of the executives called me and said that you have been called to our ICICI bank head office which located at Bhandarkar rd, Pune. As per him i went there and met Mr. Paramjeet Sing (Head of recovery department), instead of listing to me this person was only interested in the payment and statement he used was "Whatever happened to me is not my business the only concern i have is payment, just tell me when are you making the payment"

                    have resigned in october 2009 and got the all settlement amount.

                    have recieved a letter from provident fund office that the Eps amount
                    cheque of Rs. 12698 has been returned back to provident fund office as i

                    fund number is MH/18796/77783.
                    Hence when i contact the provident
                    fund office at number[protected] they are saying is that they require
                    the bank account number which i have and they also require a fresh eps
                    form with signature of icici Bank HR mentioning that i was employee of the

                    When i contact the HR team paul, banu, jenifer they are
                    asking me to write a mail to settlement help desk how will help me in this
                    regard.
                    This my hard earned money i dont want to lose the
                    ame.

                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                      I had taken a personal loan 2 years back against my ICICI bank credit card ([protected]) for Rs 80,000 for a period of 36 months. After paying 26 EMI I planned to pre close my loan. So I called the ICICI Bank customer care to know how much was the balance amount to be paid to preclose and paid Rs 30,500 on[protected] and requested them to foreclose my account. Surprisingly following month also I got statement saying I have outstanding amount for which I called customer care so many times, who told me to ignore this saying this is a norm & formality sending statements till my 36th month EMI period. I kept quiet because my personal loan account which was linked to my net banking account was removed promptly. After almost a year now I’ve been getting calls to pay Rs9167 outstanding amount and recently now they blocked that amount in my savings account without even intimating. When I called the customer care they are saying I didn’t preclose my loan and I had some balance amount after I paid 30,500Rs.I was furious and argued with them but no use. How will I have some balance amount when fore-closure balance amount was calculated by their people and I’d already paid that. I’ve already discussed this with my uncle who is a consumer lawyer and he is very strong about this case on the basis of deficiency in service, mental agony and fraudulence. I am collecting details of people who had similar kind of problems with this bank to bring it to the limelight of our powerful media for the sake of common people not to be cheated like this anymore in the future.                         This is to inform you that on 24-March-2008 I changed my Salaried A/C from HDFC Bank to ICICI Bank for auto debit service (Form SR No[protected] and on the same date I made a payment of Rs 2098/- for the month of Feb & Mar 2008 as EMI along with Rs 467/- for late payment charges at 2nd Floor, ICICI Bank Ltd., Plot No. 1320, Bajrakabati Road, Cuttack - 753001 (Orissa), Receipt No - O [protected] , but this is not reflecting in your system. For your reference I have attached the scan copy of the same.

                        Also I escalated this issue to Satyajeet Das, Mob No – [protected], 1st Floor, ICICI Bank Ltd., Plot No. 1320, Bajrakabati Road, Cuttack - 753001 (Orissa) and Frontend Executive, how ever both responded very unprofessionally. Satyajeet Das gave me false assurance that he is enquiring about the same. He asked me to call him after every 7 days of interval. Even many times he didn’t receive my call. He took 2 month to enquire about the same and at the end he responded negatively. I got very poor response from these two persons. They don’t know how to behave with their customers.

                        So, I would request you to please look into the matter and update the same and also refund my extra payments along with late payment charges that I have been charged from 24-March-2008 till the closure of the account other wise I will take legal action against your Bank.

                            Hi,

                            Summary of my problem
                            In the month of July, on my icici bank web account when I checked, it says there is no EMI is pending. So, I didn't transfer money to ECS bank (standard chattered). However last EMI is deposited on my bank, so it got bounced.
                            After that I got a call from your credit department for payment of that EMI. I said, I'll pay but it is your mistake so I dont want to pay bounce charges for both banks so I want a discount on final payment. They told me to go to Jayanagar Branch.
                            I went to Jayanagar branch they said I need to go to Jayanagar main branch.
                            Then I went to Jayanagar main branch then they redirected me to Tyagaraja Nagar branch.
                            In the mean time I used to get calls from credit department at least 5 calls per day and I'm keep posting the same to them.
                            Then Tyagaraja Nagar branch told me that I've to go to Electronic City branch to get benefits.
                            I got a call from credit department on Saturday then I told them I'll be busy in management meetings from Monday to Wednesday, so I'll go there on Friday. I told them not to call me till friday.
                            Inspite I told to 2 executives from credit department, they called me on monday, tuesday, wednesday and Thursday.
                            Friday I went to bank and I discussed with them. Branch people told, due to a mistake from our front end (website) they may look into wavie off fee but I've to pay my last EMI. I agreed to them. They told me to go to 1st floor where credit department will resolve it.
                            Then I went to first floor they said "WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING". If you say website show wrong then SHOW me the proof. I said I cannot get the proof then she said you need to pay full amount and we cannot reduce anything. Then I told her, if that is the case then why you guys wasted my time etc. She didn't even bother to answer my question, she said if you pay you will get NOC otherwise you wont get NOC.
                            So, I'm finally end-up paying Rs. 8190 (i didnt remember exact amount).

                            What I'm expecting from ICICI Bank
                            Apology for the harassment from credit department inspite I told that I'm going to branch. (I'm thinking of giving complaint to banking consumer forum for this harassment)
                            I want my bounce back charges (for both bank)
                            There is no letter states that I've to previous bounce charges but I've paid at the time of final settlement. So, I need that amount back.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I am Corporate customer of ICICI Bank. I have requested to ICICI Bank for ATM Card in 1st week of August, because of existing ATM Card is not working proper in ATM also not readable of card number and card's back side details Numbers.
                                  Till now I have not receive the ATM Card but ICICI Bank Sonepat Branch deducted Rs. 221.00 from my SB account on 09.08.2010 without any notice and details are-> (09/08/2010 SR[protected] Drcard Reissue Chg DR INR 221.00) for corporate customer they should not charge.

                                  I requested to bank not to charge Rs.221.00 but bank is not responding, I have sent email to ICICI MD also. then I requested on 18.08.2010 I do not want your ATM Card or any service from your Bank you just refund my money.
                                  You are requested kindly look in to the matter and do the needful

                                    I Ajay ridla ICICI Credit Card Holder Settled the Card paiments by giving amount of Rs 24000/ Thousant.to one of ICICI Represenative his contect # is [protected] and i recieved the paiment raceipts also but i did not received the full and final settlement letter. your bank employees are still askig me to settel above mentioned amount witch i have alredy paid Your represteativ asked me to sellle the amount with in Three Month and i cleared the amount during this period. He gave me the settlement latter only for two months and he said that after whole clearance he will give covered the two months settlement latter in to three monts letter I am following with him but he is not responging and daily i am receivuing a call from bank side. so pls provide me the settlement letter.                                       Hello,

                                      I have been using ICICI Bank Credit Card since last 8 years. This is the 1st time I have faced a problem from ICICI Bank Credit Card department and the issue remains unresolved.

                                      I the month of Feb 2009 I have to visit out of station on a Business Tour for 23 days and I had missed by payment due date for which I had called the ICICI Bank Credit Card Customer Care deptt and expailed them my situation. They confirmed me that the interest and late payment charges shall be credit once they are levied and I just need to call back in March 2009 and get it credit.

                                      I did as I was told and called up the customer care in March 2009 for reversal of charges. They confirmed about the reversal. I paid the amount deducting the interest, late fees and its taxes. When I received the new statement in April 2009 the charges were still showing and also new interest charges along with taxes.

                                      I called up the customer care deptt again and after some discussion they said they will work it out. I again made all the payments to the ICICI Bank Credit Card for my usage of the current month.

                                      Still the problem remained unresolved and the same issue continued in May and June statement. I gave them call every month but the problem remained unresolved. The amount of charges as interest and late fees had been piled upto Rs. 2,318.40 in 4 months. After lots of discussions I received reversal only to confirm for the month of June 2009 i.e. Rs. 491.17 (1 month). I was fed up with the follow-up and hence I switched my useage to another Credit Card after making all my purchase payments.

                                      Currently, in the July 2010 statement the balance has piled upto Rs. 6,400 odd and ICICI Credit Card representative is giving me 8 to 10 calls daily for settlement and harressing me to settle for Rs. 4,000/-.

                                      Please help me sort out the issue.

                                      ICICI Bank Credit Card — interest charges levied by icici bank

                                      Respected Mam
                                      I am holding icici credit card for last 2 years. Last year due to
                                      icici bank my cheque got bounced Due to that I faced lot of problems
                                      but after regular follow-ups my charges got reversed. First I was
                                      told to make first payment of 10000 rs which I made. After that
                                      regularly interest was charged on my card as I was making partial
                                      payment on my card I regularly followed up Kanpur office and customer
                                      care center that please give me some relief regarding my interest
                                      charges but there was no response from their side they always said
                                      that it’s under bank policy that not to reverse the charges. I have
                                      sent mail to all grievance departments but no action was taken I have
                                      pasted all the conversation. Till date I have been charged around
                                      8000rs as interest charges. Mam in December again due to bank mistake
                                      my card was misused on irtc site due to which I have to face lot
                                      problem I have to close down my card also. They reversed my charges
                                      but they forgot to reverse service charges which after regular
                                      follow-ups got reversed. Sir I just want some relief in my interest
                                      charges as its very difficult for me without any job to pay 8000rs as
                                      interest charges.
                                      MAM I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER MAKES A MISTAKE BANK
                                      CHARGES INTEREST OR LATE PAYMENT (FINANCIAL BURDEN ON CUSTOMER) ON
                                      HIM/HER. BUT WHEN BANK MAKES A MISTAKE NO PENALTY (FINANCIAL BURDEN)
                                      IS CHARGED THEY SIMPLY PASS THROUGH BY REVERSING THE MISTAKE or
                                      CHARGES. AT LAST IT’S CUSTOMERS WHO HAS TO SUFFER IS THIS A VALID
                                      JUSTIFICATION. Mam I want an easy solution regarding this problem.

                                      ICICI Credit Card — levy late fees

                                      Dear SHEETAL,
                                      SOMEHOW i have a knack of getting you to help me solve my credit card problems with your bank yet again an outstanding payment of 512/rs and sure withold a slapped late fee penalty of 400/rs. IS there any reason for this I do not think your company has any value for customers like me whose track record is worth seeing all payments are always on time. I am convinced you all just want to make money.my card no is[protected].please resolve or cancel my card I am fed up with your services.incidentally Ipaid 550/rs but please do not miss the late fee of 400/rs. regards COL R N ISSAR.

                                        I had a personal loan approx 100000 from ICICI Bank, as amount i got 98000, then EMI started and i was paying, after paying for approx 2 years, i decided to pay in all at once as i was earning good salary, so i called ICICI bank's some branch or customer support which i am not sure now. and they sent me executive to collect the remaining amount , i paid them all the remaining amount he asked and he given me receipt, it was some may to july 2008 period not sure of it now, after three year i am getting call saying that i have still my balance of 50000+ as outstanding, it shocked me, i told them whole incident how i paid, I am confused what should i do now.
