This is straight forward cheating. when the rate of interest was increasing ICICI didn't increase the EMI and reduced the principal to accommodate the increase and this resulted in reduction in principle and increase in tenure by 20 years there by increasing their profits. But when the interests rate decreased ICICI reduced interests rate by just 0.5% and for that they reduced the EMI amount because else more Priciple would have got deducted and tenure would have come down.
I dont blame ICICI or other private banks because its a fault of RBI and Congress Govt. who dont have a control on them because we cannot have genuine tax payers who are paying 8.5% interest rates (SBI etc) and there are people who are paying 13% that too during these times.
When RBI increased repo rates the banks (private like ICICI) pushed the burdens on Consumers within hours of the announcement but when the same when down they reduced deposit rates within hours but loan rates remain where they were there by filling their coffers. RBI should understand the they are using TAX PAYERS money to give these benifits and at the end of the day some capitalists like ICICI and taking the benifits out of it..
IS THERE A PLACE WHERE WE CAN COMPLAIN WHERE SOME ONE WILL READ AND ACT, PLS MAIL ME
ICICI Bank is charging different floating interest rates to its new and existing home loan customers. When interest rates went up, ICICI Bank immediately increased the floating interest rates for its existing customers. Now when RBI has reduced key rates, ICICI bank is passing on the benefits only to the new customers and not to existing customers. Existing customers are still being charged at rate of 13.25% while new customers are being offered lower floating interest rates of 9.25-10%. Over and above this, they are also charging pre-payment penalty so that existing customers cannot switch to other banks which are offering home loan at lower interest rates.RBI should intervene to stop this practice.
Only way is to collect a set of people and move to consumer court. If you are willing we shall take this as an action point. Intially mail to all the existing customers (whomsoever u know). Give ur mail ids to them. Also ask for their contact details. Once we form a small group, we can collectively take an action.
I shall create a group in yahoo groups wherein every existing customer can post their views with their contact details.

How do we address this grievance. For a 1.5 % increase in the home loan they have increase the tenure of my loan by 8 years. They didn;t provide me with the details of the calculation. Forget that in the official communication they didn;t even show me the changed tenure. Its only recently when I got in touch with them I realized the blunder and the gross cheating.

1. Almost it looks like I will not be in possesion of my house in my lifetime.

2. For a 1.5 % increase in interest the money I need to pay out is like 1 1/2 times the intial estimation.


Is there a way this can be addresses?

    Sir,
    I am writing to you after being completely fed up with the ICICI bank and its absolutely non committed staff.
    I had taken a personal loan from the bank in the month of Sept.2008 (Loan A/C No. LPDEH[protected]) for Rs.5 Lacs. While I was filling the form I was promised by the bank agent a much lower rate of interest of 21%. However, they stretched it to 23% taking advantage of my dire need for money that time. Then, I noticed when the money got disbursed into my account, that Rs.12500 has been deducted upfront on the account of file charges. I was never informed of this. Spoke to the manager multiple times there, in the bank, but no one was ready to give me any response except for telling me that it was the bank’s policy and that it could not be reversed. The story doesn’t end here. When I see my amortization schedule, I notice that they have again charged me some Rs7500 on account of some 'credit facility origination charges'.
    Ever since I have been writing multiple mail to them and have had multiple telephonic discussions, but they all they have to say is that it was there in the terms and conditions. Now the latest that they have sent is some document called. 'Most Important Document', where my signatures have been fudged (which is clearly evident), that shows that I have signed and accepted the charges of Rs.7500 while taking the loan.
    Sir, by god's grace I have never been a defaulter in my life. I am the only earning member of my family. And if this is how they are going to rip me off my hard earned money-by charging exorbitant rate of interest, levying all sorts o[censored]nknown charges, then I am afraid, I might just have to kill myself, so that my life insurance money will be able to pay off their debts. Therefore I request you with folded hands to help me out.

      i am amit kumar, my employe id is 7512736 i am working in icici bank, investment and services deptt.
      My problem is that i have been working in icici since two years, first i was handling the demat services but later i was transfered to investments.My SM name is Mr.Navneet kapoor(emp code 160412) and my RSM name is Mr.Jaipal sinhmar.Navneet kapoor is looking two branches of delhi, i.e green park and safdarjung enclave.In the month of may in 2008 my salary was deducted because of absent, in june and july same thing was happened, but i was present in whole three months.when i asked my SM he told me that the RSM is new and he doesn't know the process to mark present, and he assured me that we have taken an approval and your remaining salary will come next month.months are passes by but my salary hasn't come.Now in january'09 same thing happened my whole momth salary got deducted in the absence instead of my presence.
      i asked my SM he told me that there is mistake in mumbai because of HR.we had send LOP for your salary.
      Now sir you tell me how can i believe them it happening with me again and again
      sir please help me out.

        the request for closure was NOTentertained by the agency who was following up for payment against outstanding dues. different agencies used to call on me for the minimum balance payable, but nobody kept the request for the closure of the card.

        This was a ICICI big bazaar card, issued to me on basis of submission of my business card at BIG BAZZAR COUNTER exit at MULUND during 2005.

        unable, to reach throgh to the APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY - through the call center number.

        personal visit to ICICI branches also not yielding any result.
        I seek reprive on the arbitrary action when ata one transaction entire amount was taken out of my salary account maintained at ICICI. I can be reached at [protected]

          Sir, i was submitted demat application no [protected] through the executive ICICIDIRECT Centre, Avadi, CHENNAI, TamilNadu, on december first week2008 still my account was not opend, if i asked through the executive he simply and cooly telling that a mail has came from the management now that the new account openers should have to maintain minimum balance 5000/ rs so u have to pay another check for 5000 rs, my quiestioned is when i submitted my application the minimum opening account balance is 1300 rs, for the delay of the irresponsibility executive why should i have to pay more money, for that i have made hundreds of calls to the executive and the bank but no use simply my money and time was wasted, now i request to the honorable concern to take action on the executive named K.Saravanan mobile no;[protected], avadi branch, Chennai, TAMILNADU.still my application was holding in the bank, so please make forward my application and open my demat account as soon as possible, thank U.If it is not possible take severe action on the executive and bank staffs please.

            I have purchased one two wheeler through ICICI BANK in Arkonam, Tamil Nadu, India. my Loan Account No.LTARK[protected]. I have completed all my dues by Nov-08 and confirmed by my Bankers. I have approched many times in Vellore Icici Bank near to my native but no use. But now IcIcI told no proceeds received for the month of sep-08 from my Bankers. This I have confirmed with Indian Bank Arkonam and proceeds for the month of Sep-08 was sent to ICICI Bank on 20th Sep-08. I dont know where i have to approch after long period also. Why Icici is keep quit after getting full loan amount? and what is the remedy to solve this problem.

              I have send numbers of complaints to your Department of Non-Banking supervision . As per given instruction on your website www.rbi.org.in "In the event of the complainant not getting a reply within a period of 35 days or his not being satisfied with the reply received, he may write to Shri Kaza Sudhakar, Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Customer Service Department, 1st Floor, Amar Building, Perin Nariman Street, Mumbai 400 001."
              I have send the couriers to above mentioned address but no output obtained yet.
              I have also send the numbers of email but no output obtained yet or no any action taken yet by company on the mail or no action taken by the above department
              I have obtained information form non-banking financial daily I have send 100 to 200 email at presents
              As per information provided by the Public Information Officers. PIO of RBI
              Following points pointed out in my loan cases;
              1] No transparency of loan agreements :- Loan agreement must be either wholly manual
              Or wholly computerized /Printed and must but discussed with the borrower before sanctioning the loan. All NBFC Private Sector Banking take the signature before filling the loan aggrements and take appropriate cheques of installments. most of them fillip the cheque them self or stamped so and so loan account e.g "ICICI BANK PERSONAL LAON A/C " as like and than cross stamped as "ACCOUNT PAYEE ONLY" and all figure [amount]on the cheque by official staff My main query is agreement must be either wholly manual Or wholly computerized /Printed. No transparency here in this case seen [See instruction given in DNBS (PD.)CC 80/03.10.42/2005-06 attached herewith
              The laon agreements not given by bank for study they fill up in their office location if lender study the agreement clear picture will be shown and merrier image of loan agreement create.
              I also study so many mardur and suicide case happen in India .If RBI has proper control on the bank no need to lost the persons life following case I wish to given in the letter here. I also forward some cases to world human right organization in this regard and request to consult with RBI and issue some guidelines to RBI in this regard so that following cases not happen in feature All NBFC /Private sector Banking not follow the Guideline issued by RBI in respect of recovery againt .If any case in feature arise in negative manner RBI is responsabel because I have send numbers of complients to RBI [ Departments of Non Banking Supervision, Bank Ombudsmen, or G.M of RBI At the time of appeal against Bank I have obtained one more point for witness I will made witness to RBI's said all personal at the time of filling the suit.

                Till date i am the suffered of your card and i didn't get the solution. Request you to kindly forward this complaint to service head / Mr. sachin khandelwal for my complaint resolution.
                I have already approached your online customer help desk. your bank and phone banking. No one is able to reply me with the solution. My queries still unanwered.

                1. Unfortunately I have got one credit card prepared in Lucknow. Since for payments its was difficult for me so i connected this card account with my ICICI online bank saving account for fast and hassle free Transaction. Every time i update the latest contact details through online only since my job is mobile. Last year some where in February 08, i decided to discontinue this card for which I gave the request online itself. as that time were no unbilled transactions in my account.
                2. Your bank cancelled it without even informing me that there are some unbilled payments pending.
                3. For complete last year no contact, no mail, no information received from bank and your recovery department about this payment.
                4. After complete one year in last month Jan09. My saving account is attached with some lean of the pending amount and the complete interest on that for one year.
                5. I wrote mail to your bank online and then i was contacted by your bank from hyderabad. I explained them the completed episobe about what went wrong. Then at that your executive accepted it and she said that i will be contacted from the recovery department and you pay the total unbilled amount and not the interest.
                6. Till date no one contacted me and no one is replying my mail also. I am attaching the complete conversation from your ref. also.

                I havent got the answer to my question also?

                1. When some amount was due then why card was cancelled from your side?
                2. Why it was not informed to me before cancellation.
                3. Every time my contact and permanent residence no. was updated on my bank account then why i didnt received any phone call or mail regarding the same.
                4. When i gave request for cancellation at that time there was no due payment.
                5. If some amount was pending why you deducted amount after a year just to accumulate interest on that for a year.
                6. Why it was not done immediately.
                7 . When you executive closed this issue by forwarding the case to recovery department for payment. Then why amount is debited from my account with any contact from your recovery agent.


                Looking for positive reply and solution. And i am sure i will definately get it because still i have some faith left on you people.

                Why N no.s of people are replying ? No one is replying to my answers till date why ? Every time new face with new answers. Not expected from ICICI.

                First of all I am not in lucknow now i am in Delhi as i clearly told you people many times.
                Secondly ICICI Bank has the authorisation to debit my savings, only when i am not paying the due amout, but this is not the case of non payment. This is case where i have not received any information from your bank about any payment dues. This is mistake of your bank. why i should be punished for your mistake. You have no right debiting my account. Already i have explained your agent Jayashree on phone for which she accepted it also, ie. why she forwarded it to the collection department. But before i could receive the call from collection department you people have debited my account. Till date I have not received the answers for my questions asked in the trailing mail. You people have no answer to my questions.
                You people are cheating your loyal customer which in turn might lead to loose one and many. Kindly resolve my case in priority otherwise i will be first stopping my all relations with your bank and moving to the consumer forum.

                "In addition to the general right to set off or other right conferred by law or under any other agreement, the Bank may, without notice, combine or consolidate the standing balance on the Card Account with any other account(s) which the Card member maintains with ICICI Bank and its Group Companies, and set-off or transfer money standing to the credit of such other account(s) in or towards the satisfaction of the Card Member's liability to ICICI Bank under his/her Card Account."

                We further state that the Bank has a bankers' lien on your account as statutorily granted and available to any bank in accordance with our rights as set forth above.


                We will be able to process for the removal of the lien once the credit card account is settled and the total amount outstanding is zero. We request you to confirm us to process for the settlement of the credit card account.

Yesterday When i visited one of the Branch in Gurgaon for some query. They say your account is having negative balance of 15k .I was shocked.                 This comment is in refernce to my salary A/C with ICICI bank, wherein this A/C was opened in December end by my company through the branch of Defence colony. However, the experience i faced with this customer cae and bank is very worst. The begining of every month i get a chek from company instead of transfering of amount in bank A/C of ICICI. Multiple times i had a word with customer care where they informed me that your A/C is deactivated with the reason of non giving of documents.
                As per my understanding and knowledge i have submitted all the required documents at the time of opening my A/C with your brand name bank. while on talking again over a call with the executives, for a day i had taken a leave for a day from my organisation for the submission of documents.
                However once again harrasement occurred with me, as they have told me on a scheduled visit frommy busyday, that you need to visit in cocerned branch"Defence colony" which is very far from my place and i have not time to take a time out visit that centre.

                  Hello Sir,
                  I had a very bad experience with Icici home loan department. I bought a flat in 2006 and have taken loan of around 1800000 Lakhs, in this loan my wife is a main applicant and I am a co-applicant. I have 10 times specified that I am only looking for the fixed home loan rate of interest however finally when I received my home loan sanction document it showed floating rate of interest. I still remember the fixed rate was 10.75 at that time and floating rate was 9.75. Now for last one and half year I have been paying EMI on the rate of 13% floating rate.
                  If they could have given me that fixed rate at that time, I would have saved lots of money by giving all my EMIs on 10.75 only.
                  Also they have given insurance cover to my wife instead of me, no husband would like to get insurance cover on his wife’s name. It’s simply a fraud case however I don’t have any proof for this.
                  I have raised my concern with the bank first however but they didn’t helped me on this issue.
                  I would not suggest anybody to make any relationship with ICICI bank, and I am sure by providing this kind of services to the customers later or sooner this bank would be closed.

                    i accept that i used ICICI credit card but purchased 20-25000 not more than that, after i have paid 9500 rs also, but ICICI bank telling my outstanding is Rs.60000 and it increasing day by day and they harrasing me like anything, nobody in customer care of ICICI bank is listening also, they behaved in very rude manner. I am ready to settle down this matter and ready pay also. but i need some time to pay, but ICICI increasing my amount like anything. Sir how i will pay my amount if they are increasing my outstanding like huge interest charges. Please stop my all charges and i am ready to pay whatever will be the geniun amount. please help me for this matter. ICICI bank really stole my sleep and even i am feeling dull due to this. ICICI back is not at all cooperating with me to settle down this amount. they are just incresing thier amount and harrasing me, bcoz they know that they have recovery agencies and bouncher to recover. PLEASE HELP ME FOR THIS MATTER.

                    i have also purchased a icicilombard policy using the credit card and to clear the due i had paid the entire due amount to close the card by paying rs 5038 and after next month onwards icicibank credit card division demanding more money without giving me the detail of the statement inspite of so many calls to them.again there is no excutive here to look after the card division so that i can make my problems convinced.right now the amount is increased to rs 10600.is it not an exploitation without listening to the customers problems.for this reason i have stopped giving predential premium of rs1500pm for the last few years.
                    it is better not to use any service rendered by icici group.

                      Personal Loan security cheques are illegal. It is not valid more than 6 months .If some banks earlier taken UTI Bank cheques, it indicates that they have taken security cheques more than 2 years as UTI Bank converted to Axis Bank about 2years ago .They can't take any benefit of 138 as undoubtedly cheques were issued more than 2 yers ago whereas post dated cheques valid only for 6 months .
                      But Security cheques of other banks cheques can't be considered in case of 138 as per landmark verdict of Aurangabad bench of Mumbai High Court .
                      After repaying of loan ICICI bank not refunding cheques to borrower, it shouldn't be happen . They should be questionable for this purpose and Government should taken proper steps to stop banks to take advance securioty cheque before handover loan amount.

                          This is with regards to my ICICI Credit Card, the Bank is sending me Statement Every Month for the Late Payment Fess, Interest & Service Tax. I have made all my payments on time still they have charged me the late payment charges and whenever I have called their customer care for this they informed that they will waived the charges in next statement. But they have not waived the charges till date. I have cancelled the card long back. Several times I have called up their Customer Care to resolve the issue but it was a pathetic experience to talk with them. I have sent letter through Fax and Registered AD to their Consumer Cell Head at Hyderabad & Mumbai Office but no feed back from them. Still I am receiving the statements from them and now they are harassing to pay the charges.

                            09 Feb 09 I got Messges on my mobile
                            Dear Amit K Garg you made the transaction of INR 7000 on your card at Bharti Celluler
                            I got this type of 8 messages with diffrent amount of transaction, Total 30, 000 amount transect at Bharti Celluler from my credit card.
                            Releated to transactions of my ICICI Credit Card which has't do by me, I called on customer care and enquired for same and requested to block my credit card and verification of those transaction.
                            After 2 days again i enquired for same but i haven't get any feed back from there side consern persone was saying process is going on they are investigeting after competion of prosess they will inform me.

                            But my credit card was with me i haven't given my credit card or information of credit card to any one then how it is possible, any one can do transaction from my credit card and all the transaction are done at Bharti celluler with in 10 minutes.
                            If any one has done the transaction then bank should provide complete information about that because they can track transaction but I can't. they are not providing Information also.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              Through this mail I would like to bring to your kind notice the fraud which has happened to my ICICI Credit Card on 30th June 08 by my room partner (Kanwarjeet Singh Sethi) and after I have lodged a police complaint in this regard, he has been caught red handed by the Police Authority with my credit card and all the merchandise (Total Transaction Rs. 49047/-) which he has purchased through my credit card. Further I would also like to bring to your notice that the matter is SubJudice before the District Court of Gurgaon.


                              In order to safe guard my interest, I have brought this fraud to the notice my banker (ICICI) through several Telephonic calls and mails and as per their instructions, I have also lodged a written complaint along with a copy of FIR ( FIR Number 176 dated 2nd July 2008) and other relevant information with the ICICI and accordingly the Bank has given me a temporary credit for the amount.


                              But on Sunday (25th Jan'09), I was shocked to see that the ICICI Bank has debited my ICICI Bank Saving Account for Rs. 55490.79/- on 20/01/2009, being the amount towards the Principal transaction and the Interest on the principal and that too without any authorization and prior intimation.


                              In this regards the Bank Branch has advised me to contact their Collection Division at Rohini and accordingly I have discussed my concern with Mr. Sushil Rana, Branch Manager, Credit Card Department, SD Community center, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi. (His Personal Contact No. +91-[protected]) on 29th January but nothing concrete has been done on the subject as on the date.


                              Now keeping in mind the severity of the matter, I wanted to report the following concern with you:


                              • Despite having all the knowledge by the ICICI Bank of the fraud, the act o[censored]nilateral deduction from my Saving Account (ICICI saving Account No[protected] amounts to Forgery by ICICI Bank.

                              • Despite acting diligently and acting in bonafide, if the customer like me is still on the losing side, then what is the regulatory mechanism to curb the arbitrarily practice adopted by the Private Banks (ICICI).


                              After undergoing so many problems and suffering due to the Irresponsible behavior by the ICICI Bank, I have been subjected to the Mental Trauma.


                              Therefore, I would request your personal intervention in this matter to resolve this matter at the earliest. Also I wanted to brief you in this regard in person, if possible.


                              Following are the certain important details in this case:


                              A. The details of the transactions are as follows:

                              1) Rs.10199/- At Big Bazaar
                              2) Rs.2280/- at Woodland

                              ICICI Debit card cum ATM Card/Credit card — Grievance pertaining to my ICICI Credit Card fraud and unauthorized deduction from my ICICI Bank Saving Bank Account.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I have already written complaint to you earlier regarding my credit card fraud please refer the trailing mail, after your intervention/response one of Senior Official from ICICI Bank, Credit Card Division Hyderabad 500 034 namely Mr S. Venketswara Relationship Manager (Direct No [protected] ) called me up and gave me false telephonic assurances that their team is looking after my case but nothing concrete has been done on the subject as on the date after having almost three weeks.

                              Yesterday on 24th day of February Mr S. Venketswara Relationship Manager ICICI Bank, Credit Card Division Hyderabad told me on his telephonic conversation that he is not responsible for my case and denying the same of his earlier telephonic assurances in which he has given me assurances that certainly he will be resolving my case within four working days and also he will be sending mail to me.

                              Nether he is giving me his Official Bank Email Id nor given me satisfactory answer and the concerned person's name and address from his bank to whom should I approach for my grievances.

                              Through this mail once again I would like to bring my issue with ICICI Credit Card department in your notice. I think you will certainly help me out in this regard.

                              This issue will not only help me but some of the other people suffering from irresponsible behavior from Credit Card Department and unfair trade practice adopted by the Private Banks (ICICI).

                              Kindly go through the mail, i wrote to ICICI Bank at different levels. this kind of several mails i have written counting up to 40 nos.

                              The Payment is deducted without my knowledge & permission.

                              Now keeping in mind the severity of the matter, I wanted to report the following concern with you:


                              • When the person who is caught red handed by the police authority with my credit card and all the merchandise which he purchased through my credit card and when the matter is also subjudice before the District Court of Gurgaon then why this deduction happened?
                              • Despite having all the knowledge by the ICICI Bank of the fraud, the act o[censored]nilateral deduction from my Saving Account (ICICI saving Account No[protected] amounts to Forgery by ICICI Bank.
                              • Without my permission and/or information how the ICICI Bank deducted my Saving Bank Account No[protected] for my credit card payment?
                              • This is unjust, unfair and amounts to forgery.
                              • When ICICI Bank doesn’t have credit card fraud detection & prevention system and a proper customer care system dedicated to Credit Card misuse, why they are issuing credit card to the people?

                              • Despite acting diligently and acting in bonafide, if the customer like me is still on the losing side, then what is the regulatory mechanism to curb the arbitrarily practice adopted by the Private Banks (ICICI).



                              I will be very much thankful to you if you take initiative to resolve my issue.

                              Grievance pertaining to my ICICI Credit Card fraud and unauthorized deduction from my ICICI Bank Saving Bank Account
                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              Through this mail I would like to bring to your kind notice the fraud which has happened to my ICICI Credit Card on 30th June 08 by my room partner (Kanwarjeet Singh Sethi) and after I have lodged a police complaint in this regard, he has been caught red handed by the Police Authority with my credit card and all the merchandise (Total Transaction Rs. 49047/-) which he has purchased through my credit card. Further I would also like to bring to your notice that the matter is SubJudice before the District Court of Gurgaon.


                              In order to safe guard my interest, I have brought this fraud to the notice my banker (ICICI) through several Telephonic calls and mails and as per their instructions, I have also lodged a written complaint along with a copy of FIR ( FIR Number 176 dated 2nd July 2008) and other relevant information with the ICICI and accordingly the Bank has given me a temporary credit for the amount.


                              But on Sunday (25th Jan'09), I was shocked to see that the ICICI Bank has debited my ICICI Bank Saving Account for Rs. 55490.79/- on 20/01/2009, being the amount towards the Principal transaction and the Interest on the principal and that too without any authorization and prior intimation.


                              In this regards the Bank Branch has advised me to contact their Collection Division at Rohini and accordingly I have discussed my concern with Mr. Sushil Rana, Branch Manager, Credit Card Department, SD Community center, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi. (His Personal Contact No. +91-[protected]) on 29th January but nothing concrete has been done on the subject as on the date.


                              Now keeping in mind the severity of the matter, I wanted to report the following concern with you:


                              • Despite having all the knowledge by the ICICI Bank of the fraud, the act o[censored]nilateral deduction from my Saving Account (ICICI saving Account No[protected] amounts to Forgery by ICICI Bank.

                              • Despite acting diligently and acting in bonafide, if the customer like me is still on the losing side, then what is the regulatory mechanism to curb the arbitrarily practice adopted by the Private Banks (ICICI).


                              After undergoing so many problems and suffering due to the Irresponsible behavior by the ICICI Bank, I have been subjected to the Mental Trauma.


                              Therefore, I would request your personal intervention in this matter to resolve this matter at the earliest. Also I wanted to brief you in this regard in person, if possible.

Now you people don’t have the courtesy to attend my call and explain me the current status of my complaint. If this is the kind of solution that you would provide to your Customer, then I think that I should highlight this thing on the larger scale. For this purpose only I have contacted few Print Media and Television Media people to help in getting my concern heard at the Management Level of ICICI Bank.



                              Further more, for your information I am qualified Advocate and I am persuaded to take this matter to the next level and now I am moving to the consumer court for the early redressal of my concern and i have to make you also a party to it. Also I have spoken to Shri H Kulshreshtha

                                I am an middle class citizen of mumbai, i have took loan of Rs. 11.4 lacs from ICICI bank on floating intrest rate of 8.5%

                                Q1. as a bank icici keep increasing the rate whenever it is applicable on immidiate basis and when it reduces icici keep thinking for months to reduce why? my current rate is going on as 12 or 13% how a middle class person will afford to pay?

                                Q2. after all this i decided to transfer my loan to some other bank [not closing] due to above mention reason, now icici wants 2% pre closure charges for the same which is not les than 22000 and till date what i paid in 2year 5month the principle amount paid is less than preclosure charges. so today after 2&1/2 year i stand at same place from where i have started?

                                Q3. there was an article i have read in some news paper where HC has mentioned that if person is transfering his loan than he should not be charged for preclosure fees as he is transfering and not closing the loan. can you help me?

                                  I am using ICICI bank credit card for past 3 years.I have accumulated 1866 reward points. So I decided to buy fuel using HP petro card using the reward points. Accordingly in November, 2008 I made a request to redeem reqward points by HP petro vouchers worth Rs. 750.They redeemed my reward points.But when I filled up fuel from HP petrol pump worth Rs. 1000 using ICICI bank credit card, they didnot deduct Rs. 750 from the petrol bill. When I enquired after getting credit card statement, they informed me that the card is swapped via non ICICI bank swapping machine and thats why they didnt deduct Rs.750.But they didnot inform me this before buying the pertol .They only told me that I have to fill up from HP petrol pump using ICICI credit card.Meanwhile they reward points have expired
                                  They concealed information and I have suffred financial loss of Rs. 750.

                                    This is to request you that I am holding a credit card of you esteem bank since March 2007. My old card no is [protected] on behalf of this card I gave a request to bank for new card because my old card strip was not working and after two days bank dispatched the new card and I did not receive this card. That was card delivered to my old office address at Progressive Times Planner Pvt. Ltd., I -11, LGF, Lajpat nagar – II, New Delhi, and Progressive people swiped this card in company EDC terminal and make two transactions one for Rs .90, 000 and second for Rs. 13, 000 and immediately I got the bank SMS. I informed the bank to stop the payment to merchant and to block my card. I gave the complained the bank by e-mail and fax. I lodged a Police complaint against Progressive Times Planner Pvt. Ltd. at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi Police Station.

                                    After that I got a letter from bank side to solve the fraud transaction and I got my credit limit reversed in bank monthly credit card statement. When I received my next statement, the bank again debited the above said transactions. Neither the amount was given to the merchant nor did it return back to me and now the bank is adding that amount in my monthly credit card statement with interest. I am not ready to pay that money, which is not provided to me by the bank and not used by me, that too with interest.

                                    Currently the bank is saying that the payment is on hold but no specific reason is explained to me. Kindly, credit the transactions as well as the amount and interest, which I am paying to the bank for last 3 months, in my card. It is my kindness that I am paying that amount just because I don’t want to spoil the healthy relations with ICICI Bank.

                                    Kindly take actions in this regard.

                                    Subject-Regading my credit card dispute sattlement.





                                    Respected sir,

                                    I want to informe you that about my credit card, my credit card number is 4477********4005, my address is 4d/172 awas vikas hanspuram colony naubasta, kanpur, my bate of birth is 26 may 1985, Employee of your bank who deal with credit card (who provide the credit card as per coustmer need they always begged for coustmer for card plz...take this my target will be complete in this month).i didnot want to take this because i heard alot for your company, that i found.some detail against of my credit card which is given below only two transation done by me rest is not authorised by me.plz cheak this problem.given below.

                                    I have discuss this matter with customer care local office but no one had respond me, i am ready to pay my authorised payment which is done by me and i have fax to your cach back department ment with many request id, For a time being money rewart in my a/c but after few days it again withdrawn by bank. i have full detail wih i got from your bank and custome care department .cau you provide me contect number or responsible person who can do settlement my card payment at local level i can talk that officer.

                                    plz i am very tired of your poor feedback and service, i want settlement on my credit card .plz do it as soon as possible.

                                    The Matter is attached with the letter and I have sent this mail to the ICICI Bank's Customer Care Deptt.But no right actions are taken till now.Kindly read the e-mail which I have sent to the bank.I hope you will take right actions in this regard.
                                    kindly send the name and contect number to whom i can talk with him and do settlement of my credit card dispute or tell me how much time it eill take to settle, i hope yoy will give me positive responce

                                      I am holding ICICI platinum, Titanium, Gold, Future Gold credit cards of ICICI Bank. 6 Months before I went to one of the ICICI Branch in Pune for my Credit Card Statement. It was immediately required for submitimg it to the HSBC Bank for Balance Transfer. I Requested the Brach Executive that " I have not Received my Hard Copy Statement & I have brought my E-Statement along with me. I want bank stamp on it. The Executive told me that it is not possible as Credit card Dept queries are not taken care in this branch. As I insisted saying that I require it urgently because my due date is close, the Execuitve told me that Rs 118 would be charged & the statement would be given from the branch itself. I Complaint Regarding this to the "Head Private Banking Officer". I got a call from The Head dept & even they agreeed that it was the Executives Responsibility to give the Stamp on the E-Statement. I asked for an Apology Letter for the same but the complaint no is still UNSOLVED( 'ICICICARE=[protected]' ). I have given Rs 50000/- Revenue to the Bank in the last 1year. Thanks ICICI.

                                      Have been a 16 year customer of ICICI and am ready to dump these incompetent folks. I have all sorts of accounts with them but the worst of the lot are ICICI Direct folks. They lost my account opening papers in a transfer (after the account has been open for the last 8 years) and sent me a letter to refurnish details again.

                                      a. Why in the world would someone move papers after 8 years?
                                      b. No copies are maintained?
                                      c. How dumb of someone to inform that we have lost your identity and its our fault and we have no remorse on it. Wish it was a western nation and these folks would have danced the jingle then
                                      d. Someone called Ashish called from ICICI direct called and spoke about me cooperating to submit the docs which they had lost. Talk about humility and an apology. I told him to go hang himself off the nearest tree.

                                      Then someone unwittingly decides to reset the charges on my account for ICICI Direct to double of what was agreed upon in writing. My relationship manager is so lost that it takes him 7 months to figure out what the issue is. Lo and behold the trades made in the interim result in a Rs 35, 000/- excess transaction charges. So instead of apologizing for the reset, they refuse to acknowledge and refund the charges.

                                      The most unprofessional and unfair business conduct I have encountered so far...

                                        This is reference to above subject in 2003, I had this credit card and 2004 I have made settlement for this card by paying Rs.18, 000 in four installments as agreed with the Bank (issued post dated cheques against bank receipts). But 27th Jan 2009 Rs .5, 359.23 debited from my savings A/c No[protected] made that 0 balance. Against this immediately I called customer care and explained the transaction ref complaint no SR94927309 & visited to the Bangalore branch and given written compliant also.
                                        I have shown original receipts and bank statements to Ms. Anjali Mobile no [protected] & Mr. Ankur but they says its to be done from Mumbai and asked me to send a mail to customer care along with scanned copies of the receipts & statements. Again I have received call yesterday (10/02/2009)from your Hydrabad office and asked me to call on[protected] Mr. Abhineeth but no response from morning. Please help me to solve this issue i will wait another 7 days after that i have go for Legal option.
