Hi,

I want to make a complaint against ICICI Bank for debiting my ICICI Bank acct with my credit card charges without any intimation.

I have logged them the complaint for "Lost of Card" some months ago and they told my acct/card has been blocked.
After that i am ready to pay the outstanding amount but they are charging interest and late payment charges month on month for the blocked/closed credit card acct.

They have debited from my Bank account all these charges directly and again this month they want the charges again.

Please help me to get revert back the amount charged and stop the charges on my credit card account.
I am requesting them from last one month for which i am bearing mental pressure and financial problem also.

    I took the car loan and wanted to closed the loan account, Bank gave me the details and paid back the amount, bank was to returen my 8 nos EMI cheques. But they have lost those instruments. I have to tell my bank to stop the payments of those cheques, for that my bank charge Rs.800/-nos of time I requested the bank to pay this charges to me but they are not responding.My car loan account no. is LAPUN[protected]. Pl advice the bank to pay this amount to me. Ved Prakash Kharbanda

      Last month I got my credit card statement and some amount was due. It was a valid statement and I did the payment via a local bank cheque dated 29th may, 2008 of Bank of Baroda in favor of my ICICI bank credit card according to the instructions given in the credit card statement. I dropped that cheque in ATM drop box on 30th may. Today when I checked my BOB account, the cheque wasn't cleared yet. After inquiring ICICI customer care, I was told that they didn't received my cheque. The payment due date is 8 june.

      They asked me to again issue a new cheque. But this time too they don't get my cheque then I would be liable to pay their late fees + interest. There is no proof that I dropped a cheque at ATM and thats the advantage they have with them and how is it possible that they didn't get it when I dropped it(The security men of the ATM agrees) or I would say, ICICI don't want the payment before the due date.

      According to new rules, you need to pay a fees of Rs. 100 in favor of any cash payment made to ICICI. So, I think its a company strategy not to accept cheque and just cash payment, else I would be levied interest + late fees.

      I don't think this is fare and there should be some method made to authenticate that customers have dropped the cheque in the drop box.

      I have also faced the same problem.
      Mostly there is an ATM machine near the drop boxes.
      There should be one more additional feature added on the ATM machine where any payment made towards the credit card outstanding can record the credit card no and the cheque no of such dropped cheque or the cash details to be put on record of the payment made through the drop box.

        My latest credit card statement has on its envelope a meassge stating boldly, get 50% off on domestic air tickets on Ezeego1 .com. It sure looks like a tempting offer. I got a call from ICICI customer care askin if i have recd. my titanium credit card, my answer was a yes. I wanted to clarify from them is this 50% discount on full fare or just the basic fare and they confirmed it is on the full fare. After which i booked my air tickets on ezeego1 .com through my Tiatanium Credit card. Even on the website they mentioned on one the pages after i selected the ticket that 50% discount on domestic flights booked through Titanium /platinum cdt cards. Today when i got to speak to some other Customer care executive, they told me that the discount is on the basic fare and not on the total fare and to my surprise they even said this scheme is not valid on Spice Jet Crafts. I think this is an extreme case of cheap tactics to sell their products. This is a gross and an irresponsible act of ICICI AND Ezeebo airlines. They do not even bother to give a clear message to their customers. I strongly beleive they must be sued for these cheap tactics to increase their sales.

        ICICI Titanium Credit Card — Credit Card Not delivered

        I am Raman, hv received a message in my mobile stating that a courier bearing Airway Bill No: [protected] on 19th Apr 2008 was there for delivery but person was not available at home.
        But, my father had been at home on that day and the phone no given in the message[protected] is not reachable to us from yesterday.

          Hi,
          I am praveen, NRI from singapore.
          I took home loan in December 2006 from Hyderabad.At that time the interest was 9% floating loan.
          After 3 months my interest rate escalated to 11.5% but they are giving loan to new customers at the rate of 10%.
          On March 27th I sent a Demand Draft of Rs550000 for the partpayment to my loan account.
          They acknowledged that they received the DD on 01/04/2008 and they supposed to deduct my partpayment from the outstanding principle and recalculate my EMI from April 10th(payable on May10th)
          Instead of that one they are recalculating my EMI from May10th(payable on June 10th).
          one full month they just kept my money in suspension though i paid my partpayment well before EMI effective date. In my case ICICI deducts EMI on 10th of every month.
          I spoke to ICICI customer support for atleast 100 times but always they say that they look into the matter but no status.
          I wrote this to Mr Kamath and ICICI Quality heads.After that i got a response from Dharma Veda from ICICI Bank saying that they created a process of approval to recalculate from EMI from April 10th instead from May 10th.But even then still they recalculated my EMI from May 10th.
          I sent so many mails to the Account Manager but everytime i send a mail i get same response they are looking into the matter.After several mails i got response saying that according to their records my partpayment paid on April 17th.So the EMI going to be effected from May10th.
          I sent the money on March 28th and also they acknolwedged that they received it on April 1st and now howcan they say that according to their records they received it on April 17th.
          Its totally cheating ...
          There are lot of problems whenever i bank with ICICI .
          There are lot of stories with ICICI with most of my friends also ..
          Please dont have any relationship with ICICI.This is big big fraud bank.

          I completely agree with what you said. I've faced similar problem every time I made a part payment. The change is not reflected in the following month but in the month after that. e.g. i made a part payment on 17-aug-2007, but I got the benefits in terms of reduced EMI only on 01-Oct-2007. I know of banks which have a daily reducing balance on the principal and moment the check/DD is realised the outstanding principal is reduced. Whereas with ICICI bank the change in outstanding principal is seen after 43 days in this case and for most of my part payments the change is seen on an average after 45-50 days which is ridiculous. I've made several complaints with regard to this but no action has been taken. ICICI bank is making money with our hard earned money. They are indeed cheats!! Never take any kind of loan from ICICI bank.

          I just would like to inform to icici bank that i havent taken any p.loan from them and i have recv ample number numbers of call from them they are abusing with me and they said if i dont pay the amount they will arrest me how is it pabbible if i havent took any loan from them i will go and make a complaint aginst icici bank and they need to give me a answer for the same ...please give me a suggestion wha can i do.?????????????????????

          I am SIVAPRASAD, my accnt number is[protected] on 20/10/2008 charged the QAB charges843. With out any prior notice bank deducted 843 Rs from my savings acc and on the top of that no clue or reason available why it did like that. It is not fair. If bank cheats customers in this way then customers will be no longer with ICICI. When I was taken the account 2006 they were said the accnt is 0 balance accnt. why they charged this amount. It is totally cheat the customers.

          I also agree with you i have taken a home loan from icici bank. These days i am having financial crisis due to which i requested them to do something which is beneficial to me i am ready to pay penalties etc. but not in a position to pay the emi for 8-9 months they are not supporting at all can any one tell is it possible to break the emi for some period and after 8-9 months continue the emi or any other way to sort out the problem.

          I completely agree with the private Bank cheating people just by showing sweet attractive services when you are not the customer for that bank. Once you are a customer of these private bank they really start charging like anything.

          There are lots of catch in their policy and hidden charges. They are so smart that even if you ask for the policy they would say it is for internal purpose and can not be shown to the customer. But later on when you ask for clarification of your rate of interest or charges they would always refer i't is as per [censored]ing policy.'

          The more surprise is why Consumer Activist/Banking Obdusman/ MRTP department does not do any things. There are thousands, I must re-correct lacks of people having small or big story against HDFC/ICICI but no body does anything.

          If reserve bank would do some strict policy then it would be benefited to many poor people. People who are reading and writing this blog are literate but still cheated. What must be happening to those poor villagers who must be cheated badly and no one is there to even look at them.

          I request all Consumer Activist/Banking Obdusman/ MRTP/Media to do something or atleast make aware public not to be caught by their DSA and not to trust on their services which they show on the first time. Because their services are like banana tree where you will get fruit only once in the life time and cannot expect fruit through out life like other tree.

          Re: ICICI Bank home loan: flouting with interest rate.

          I am NRI, working in South Africa. I have taken two loans from ICICI Bank, with interest rate of about 9%. The interest rate has gone up to 12.75%, and I was keep on paying this high interest rate, presuming that it is according to directive given by RBI. Last time, when I went to India, I spoke with bank manager of ICICI Bank, and he told interest rate has come down, and I submitted papers. The interest has changed to 11.75%.

          Recently some body told me that interest rate is only 8.5%, then I contacted ICICI Bank, and with lot of difficulty I got my Loan account statement. The interest rate is floating, as it is gone up from 9% to 12. 75%, it has to come down to 8.5% as well. This not happened. With a lot of difficulty I contact the office of Mrs. Chanda Kochhar (CEO, ICICI BANK). I can not speak with her, but I have sent e-mail to: <chanda. [protected]@icicibank.com>, and attached all documents. Somebody called Chandrika Naidu send me reply, mentioning that they will reduce it 8.75% interest rate, provided I will pay them Rs20 000 each for switch in charges and service charges. I surprised as it is floating rate they must reduce automatically.


          I do not have any respect to this ICICI Bank. It is sad that India is growing but the banks like ICICI, still manipulating, and causing harm to customer. There is nobody to control them. Please RBI must do something as this bank is cheating so many customers.

            I have registered only for MSEBMU (biller Name0 UNDER[protected]BU 4753(06) starting date shown by ICICI bank cc is 01-06-08.whereas they have shown HUTCH abd ICICIP at SNo 1&2for which i ahve not registered at all.I am not going to pay if these are included.If such thing continues pl cacell my registration at the 1st instant, as your IVRS service is also very poor.My credit card No is 5239xxxxxxxx2005.

              Hello Dear Costumer care Dept., .
              With much disappointment I am lodgiing this complain. In 2006 May I received a phone call from you branch in Ballygunj Phari, Kolkatta saying you are giving me a cheque of Rs.10'500 as a gift personal loan (What I have never asked for, if you have any docs. then please show it to me). At that time I was about to go out of the country for two yrears, so I told them not to send it to me. But upon my departure the cheques (#848652 dated 10.5.2006)was issued at my home address. Upon enquiry about this, your branch in Cuttack suggested my father to send it back to your Bombay branch. So he did that too. The cheque was send by Speed Post on 7th of Feb'07. So after that there was no more response form your side, so we understood the chapter is closed. But right now as I am back here in India, last month when my salary was deposited in my account the bank has deducted this ammount. Right now the account is showing I have -Rs.4601.25. So upon my enquiry in the costumer care# I got the detail that the bank has deducted the ammount for the same cheque what I have not encashed and returned to the Bombay main branch (even the system record shows the same, that the cheque was not encashed). So my first alligation is when I had not asked for the loan than why the bank issued it in my name. Second, upon my refusal why the bank still forcefully send me the cheque. Third, the money what I have never received (as the cheque was not encashed), why the bank is deducting this ammount from my account.
              Already I have complained about this in your costumer care center. The complaint # is SR68352258. Please look into this matter, as I am not being able to use my salary saving account. I am waiting for three days (as of the costumer care assurance) to see this problem get solved, other wise I will be forced to move to the consumer court to find justice.
              if your bank is really leading in the country then please prove it by helping the costumers. Hope to hear from you very soon.

              sir, i have a credit card of icici bank since last three years (approx)which i was using regularly, but from last 5 to 6 months some late payment charges are reflecting in my statement, since the time i have taken this card i have NEVER made part payment for the transactions of the respective month, when spoken to the icici card customer care they promised to revert back the charges, two of my payments were made after due date because i didnot receive the statemet of respective months in time n has clerified the matter with icici credit card department, sir no action has been taken by them n now since one month icici collection center people are calling every day n hour in an abuseive language n threatening me for the money amt.rs.4651.69 i have stopped using their card n told them to take it back as m not interested for the same ... sir please do look in the matter n do the needful, thanking in advance, rakesh awachat

                im account holder in icici bank since 5 years.On 29 may i deposit Rs.14000 at 11.10 am before the bank clearing time which is 12 Pm.But the bank still bounce my cheque of Rs.14000 on the same day.i contact the bank manager regarding this but he didint give me any responce .and the third party to whom i give the cheque is taking me in the court because of rejection of cheque .im very upset because of this.My icici bank a/c is[protected].pls help me.my other details are below .

                Dear Sir,

                This is to inform you that the home loan (Home Loan Account No. is LBROK[protected]) from ICICI bank has been sanctioned in year 2006 and we give you the cheques from SBI Account. Now, there is problem that there is a balance in my account but you put the bouncing charges in my account. I went to SBI, there they said that ICICI bank did not present the cheques and the ICICI said that they present. I can't understand what I have to do.

                  I had one Credit card of ICICI bank and ICICI lombard made one credit card linked insurance. It was telephonic and they never told me that the Total premium amount will be blocked from my credit card.
                  I continued the card for more then one year. Now after clearing the all my dues when I tried to close the card they shows me that I have some outstanding for the linked credit card. I accepted this issue and I told to inform me the Full and final credit for the credit card and give me the declaration that if I pay that amount there will not be any claim in future and I will not be bound to pay any claim further. They never made this disclaimer to me. I have doubt that after I pay that amount they will claim some other thing in future.

                    My name is N.V.Ramani and resident of A3/35D Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. I am aged 65 years. I was having a ICICI Bank Credit Card No.[protected]. In order to settle the outstanding amount lying against this credit card an one time settlement was made by ICICI Bank, vide their letter No.ICICIDEL/VM/08-09/020202/05/Z/S dated 09/02/2008 and agreed upon by me as well as the bank to pay Rs.48000/- in full final settlement. The repayment plan was: lst instalment Rs.30000/- 2nd and 3rd instalments were for Rs.9000/- each. Accordingly I issued first cheque for Rs.30000/0 on 16.2.08, vide Statement for Feb 08 wherein Rs.30000/- was duly credited (cheque no.686859). As per the settlement plan further two cheques Nos.686860 and 686861 for Rs.9000/- each were issued dated 15.3.08 and 15.4.08 and these were encashed by the bank. Therefore as per the ICICI Bank letter dated 09.02.08 referred above, one time settlement was made and nothing is due to them from me.

                    Now from l5 the April 08 onwards I have been receiving telephone calls from the ICICI Bank's DSA agent and from ICICI Bank call centres asking me to make further payments and I have been repeatedly harassed by the staff of the Bank. I am a retired person living hand to mouth from my meager savings.
                    This sort of telephone harassement by the bank is telling upon my health and I am put into mental anguish and agony. On the top of this I have received a letter from the bank CC/20-05/316303 dt.26.5.08 asking me to pay Rs.28262.20. Is this the way a Leading Bank behave with their customer?
                    The bank has forgotton all norms and ethics to ask money from me when it was settled as per their
                    settlement terms in Feb 08. I request that my complaint may please be taken up with the Bank to sort out this matter and save me from mental agony. N.V.Ramani

                      i had taken home loan from ICICI bank Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), India in Sep 2006. MY agreement no is LBBAR[protected], dt of loan santion is 28/09/2006 for the property house no 37, Partapur, jeevansahai, Indraprastha, Pilibhit road, Bareilly.

                      I being defence officer, need a certificate from the bank every year stating the amount paid as intesrt and principal during the last financial year, to file IT return.
                      Inspite of repeated visits by my father to the bank in the month of May 2008, i didnt get such certificate, I, being presently posted at Lebanon with United Nations, can not go to bank myself.
                      May i request u to help me.

                        2 days back I purchased samsung washing machine from Radhika Electronics, Pimpri, Pune
                        When I make payment through credit card he told me to extra pay of 2% on whole ammount and he credited whole ammount through Credit card
                        Its totally day robbery and why any shopkeeper took extra money when credit cards company told that u didnt have any extra pay from purchase money

                        ICICI Visa Credit Card — Wrong Billing

                        I have not made any purchase of Rs 9756/- on 02/07/08 with ICICI Lombard. This purchase was made by me on 14/05/2008 which was reflected in my statement of Jun 09, 2008 and i had made payment for the same on 17/06/08 at ICICI Bank, Shimla.
                        I had even lodged a complaint on 02/07/08 on telephone and my S.R.No is[protected]. but so far no steps have been taken to give me credit for the wrong billing.

                        Anybody can say these all are fake transaction but ICICI bank doesn't belive. First i had asked for a dispute then they dispute my BSEB Payment and TATAINDICOM payment but after 2-3 days they returned back entire amount and charged RS 17000. I really don't understand how they are asking for payment even i had not used single penny. ICICI bank is really doing very bad things and i am going to break all relationship with this bank they are ridiculous .

                        Please help me i am totally frustrated with this bank.

                          Hi,

                          I am an NRI account holder for over 6 years with ICICI bank.
                          Recently I changed my home address.

                          I phoned them to tell them address change.
                          Then I sent email request via secure login.

                          I submitted to request to change address as per the requirements of ICICI Bank NRI services.
                          Both times ICICI failed to make the change.
                          Once they told me to get further proof of address.

                          Second they told me that the signature on the request form does not match their records.
                          How am I supposed to imagine what they have on their records and how they are comparing my signature digitally or manually. Its completely unacceptable.

                          Then they told me to go to a local branch overseas and the guys in the overseas branch thought that I am from a different planet or soemething so they can not handle this change.

                          For over 6 months ICICI is sending letters to my old address. This does not make sense at all.

                          I am complaining out of frustration.

                          Have anyone of you had a similar trouble with ICICI?

                          It will be interesting to know how many NRIs are leaving ICICI because of a lack of management attention and difficulty in conducting transactions and business with ICICI as an NRI.

                          ICICI NRi account — NRi Services is not good

                          i opened new NRI account in icici bank in India on sep-2008.the bank has send the cheque book and ATM card to my abroad address.but till the date i didn't receive ATM and internet banking documents.they told me " we send all related documents via normal postal".who will send the Banking related important documents via normal postal???.as same time they have send the statement to me.no more definition in account details with some hidden changes.so plz considered any NEW NRi account in icici at any branch.

                          Hi I too have been with ICICI holding NRI account. They are terrible at providing services. I have tried changing my address with them for more then a year. Even when i visiting india i submitted the request in the branch and they lady in the brach said that it will be updated soon. The service standards provided by indian banks are not great if you ask me. There's a saying in india Andhon main kana raja.. icici is just like that. Their call centre is the most annoying thing in this world. You'll hardly find anyone who could help you. I can write a book on "Experices with ICICI - A black hole"

                              THE BANK WRONGLY CREDITED MY ACC WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S SALARY, WHICH I INFORMED THEM..AFTER THAT, I'M HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH MY PERSONAL TRANSACTIONS. THOUGH I HAVE FUNDS, I'M UNABLE TO WITHDRAW AT THE ATM, CITING INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. APPARENTLY, THE SALARY AMOUNT HAS BEEN BLOCKED..THATS FAIR, ITS NOT MINE TO SPEND, BUT WHY CANT I WITHDRAW CASH WHICH HAS BEEN CREDITED INTO MY ACCOUNT WHICH BELONGS TO ME??!!

                              CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A NIGHTMARE! HDFC BANK IS WAY WAY WAY BETTER!!!

                              But my last month Tata indicom's telephone bills was not paid it seems and the messages are getting from Tata Indicome.

                              Please inform me whether ICICI will pay my Telephone bill or not. so based on that will go further. Treat this urgent and inform me thru. Email & mobile.

                                Sir, i have a given a request to open a demat account on month of feb 08, due to signature mismatch it was sent back to me, after correcting this i again sent back to mumbai, again there was some problem for which i can't be held responsible, form sent back to my bank again i sent this to mumbai and now the 750/ fees for demat acc has already been deducted from my saving bank account on 5 may 08 and still i did not received my demat account, i have complained time and again but to no avail, now i am so frustated that i don't want this demat account to open and want back my 750 in my saving bank account.                                 I wanted to open a NRE demat account with ICICIDIRECT. I already have a NRE a/c with ICICI. In spite of that ICICI wants me to open another NRE account, 3-in-1 i.e. savings+demat+trading. It is absolutely unnessary.

                                A new Demat a/c can be opened easily and the same to be linked with my existing NRE a/c. On top of that ICICI charges INR 4000 as joining fees.

                                  I hope somebody has time to read this and help me in sorting this out.

                                  I had availed a loan with ICICI Bank in 2006 for an interest of 18% however when I recieved the ammortization schedule I notice that the interst was 24%, I immediatley adviced ICICI bank of this discrepency.

                                  ICICI Bank howver gave me vague answers and later promised me that I can close this account after six months without any pre closure charges.

                                  I paid 15 EMI's deligently even as my financial postion did no allow me to preclose, when I later advised the bank that I would like to close this account they levied preclosure charges and adviced that the same can not be reveresed.

                                  Now ICICI bank has blocked my salary (ICICI account) .please advice I am facing mental torture due to this
                                  you need to cheque the rbi gudelines
                                  SIMPLE...i had faced the same year before and then reserched for th4 solution and got this...do the same...

                                  You may start a case against ICICI in customer court. However the bank already doing more nonsense like this. we (ICICI loan holders) need to join against ICICI's nonsense actions. RBI already warned banks for preclosure amounts that banks should not collect such amount. Then why they doing like this and how they block your account without no reason. we need to go to consumer court against this preclosure policy.

When I called the phone banking they informed me that the entire amount in my account was blocked by credit card team for the card number

                                    Please help understand was the bank right in blocking my entire amount in the saving account towards a credit card . And that too without informing me. Who has given authorisation to the bank authorities to block my money. I can take any legal action against the bank.

                                    ICICI Credit Card — Illegal Transfer of money from my Icici account

                                    HI,
                                    I hold an ICICI bank saving account . My salary was credited yesterday and when I checked my balance today I was shockedto find that there was negative balance available. When I called the phone banking they informed me that the entire amount in my account was blocked by credit card team for the card number
                                    [protected] and wanted me to check with the credit card team for this. I called the credit card team and spoke to an executive name Roja and informed her about the same. She wanted me to confirm the address at which the credit was issue. Now this card was issue 5yrs back when I was working in Mumbai and then I moved over HYD. I informed her that I could not remmeber the address but she would not listen and did not help me.
                                    Please help understand was the bank right in blocking my entire amount in the saving account towards a credit card which i stopped using 5yrs back. And that too without informing me. Who has given authorisation to the bank authorities to block my money. I can take any legal action against the bank.
                                    Need your help in this regard as i'm completely bankrupt because of this.

                                    ICICI Credit Card — blocking of my credit card

                                    i ave rcvd SMS 04 feb 10 asking me to pay the credit card balance for the crad no:XXXXX xxxx XXXX 4004. i do not possess this card now, since it was blocked and de-activated in the year 2006,after ICICI HAD UPGRADED ME TO GOLD CUSTOMER and issued a NEW CARD with a different number.
                                    so i spoke to the customer care who said it was a mistake and the expenses were incurred on the newcard only and i can ignore the SMS.(i believe card no:xxxx...4004 is still held by the credit card dept.as the primary card ,on my name which i am NOT aware till now.
                                    on 08 feb 10 ICICI had blocked my card for non payment of rs.350/,though i was not at fault and never ever defaulted in the last 5yrs. how can they BLOCK MY CARD LIKE THIS ?

                                      I got the loan for 2.7 lacs from ICICI bank but unfortunately commitment was not honoured from sales people, means that I was told that the rate of interest is 13% and no processing fees at all due to my company and salary (if the processing fees is collected by bank then that would be return back to me in the form of cheque by the sales people). This has been promised since begining and maintained in all followup calls.

                                      But this ended up with the rate of interest 14% and 1% processing fee without my knowledge which I
                                      didn't expect at all. This is unfair from ICICI bank.

                                      After I made numerous call to Diana/ Preethi at[protected]sales team - I guess) to clarify this, I was told that the proceesing fees and 1% extra interest rate would be return back to me but I am fine just to have my proceesing fees only then agreement was done to return back the same on 10 March (team lead Prathip kumar was on the call and promised that too) But still now that is not happened and whenever I am calling them they are avoiding my call, there is no update reg this. This is really pathetic and shameful.

                                      I am sorry to say this, due to these type of people ICICI bank image is going down and pls take proper/required action against them and help me to get back my money.

                                      I have applied a PL from ICICI bank and am repaying it for the past 13 months. now due to market downfall I lost my job and sent a request to ICICI peoples seeking 3 months holiday period. meanwhile they presented my july month due cheq which got returned due to insufficient fund. again they are representing it without giving me a call or knowing my repaying status. they just gave me a sms and that to without any contact no.

                                      I am Anindya Chatterjee, had one personal loan from ICICI Bank, Bomanahalli, Bangalore branch. My loan account number LPBNG[protected]. I paid full an final settelment amount 15000/- on 28th Feb, 2009. But I enquired to bank, thay said still I am having 33000/- due to this account and still they are sending the collection agents to my home.
                                      I have all the documents ready with me. Recently I applied for bike loan, its got rejected due to the pending in this ICICI loan and I came to know my name has been listed to CIBIL.

                                      Please help me out from this carelessness.

                                        ICICI Direct is very sharp in educating its customers for sending intimation about changed addresses or changed contact numbers. But when it comes to changing, they are very casual.

                                        I hold a SB a/c at Kolkata Chowringhee branch. In November 2007, I submitted request for address change in my demat account that I hold with ICICI Direct. There are a host of young inexperienced boys and girls ready to offer you service after long waits. I was kept waiting for 45 minutes for verification of my PAN card (Proof of Identity) and Proof of Address and proper channeling of my papers. An OK from the demat officials allowed me to leave the branch with the assurance that the change will be intimated in 15-20 working days.

                                        After 1 month I received at my workplace (Orissa), a courier from the branch containing all docs that I submitted and stating that Proof of Identity is not enclosed. SUCH CALLOUS AND IRRESPONSIBLE ARE THE GIRLS AND BOYS WORKING AT ICICI THAT THEY HAVE MISPLACED MY DOCUMENT. I reattached the document and couriered them. After 1 month they again returned back stating that the document ash to be attested since they cannot verify. PLEAE NOTE THE LEVEL OF NONSENSE. Did I ask them not to write about the attestation part while sending back the courier fro the first time.

                                        Anyway frustrated by the irresponsible attitude, I approached ICICI ROURKELA BRANCH on 29-march-2008. Unfortunately another small girl was waiting to offer me service. All documents were verified before me and a fresh application for address change was submitted. Till date no communication and intimation from ICICI Direct.

                                        Hello, I have applied for 3 in 1 account in the month of December. While opening the account I approached a ICICI bank sales person in Hyderabad. This gentleman does not know anything about the dmat account and its requirements. These kinds of guys will deceive the customers to meet their targets. I was really disgusted with this and I lost 975/- for opening the Dmat account. Now I am struggling to change the address as I recently shifted from Delhi to hyderabad and does not have any proof that satisfies the bank. Above all, a concerned person in srinagar colony branch told me why I had applied dmat account without the proof. Two persons came for verification and both have not given proper information. It totally sucks. I know, there is no help I get from the bank now, rather I alert my friends, colleagues about this incident.
                                        Very True, send several requests but they throw it in the dust bin, you will receive no reply. If you visit a branch they will tell you you have to go to Adayar Branch/ or Mumbai..I regret opening a demat account with ICICI
                                        I have been to ICICI Bank to change my address and after submitting all documents in person including Official Letters from Government Department, Licence Copies, Statements from Other Banks including my passport copies they sent me the documents saying that it is not good enough. They then indicated that the Signature does not match inspite of sending another fresh lot of documents indicating my signature. This was all done at the branch with the manager of the branch verifying the signature.
                                        I have the same problem. I have moved to different to 3 countries in the last 8 years. Also moved several times with in the country for career and family reasons. Understandably I have had a terrible time with the ICICI Demat folks. Everytime I send them a BUNCH of dcouments, they send it back with a note saying some thing is not matching. Once they told me my signature is not matching, another they tell me my PAN card is NOT SELF-ATTESTED. Another time, they told me the proof of identity is NOT VERIFIED. Its the same passport, same PAN card, same account holder. I can send them 100 documents, but they need the 101th. Bunch of lazy folks working there who fail to understand our needs. Glad to find some company...I always wondered if they do this to all the 11.5 lac customers they have??????? Unbelieveable...
