“Third Class Service” is the Tag for ICICI Bank Fastag.
I had applied for an ICICI Bank Fastag in their Fastag portal on 23rd Feb 2021 for my brother’s LCV. The Registration charges along with the Top up amount was also paid online and an acknowledgement was generated with a Customer Id # 14194532. After 4 days of wait, an SMS was sent asking me to upload proper RC copy which in turn was uploaded for the 2nd time. But, even after a week after this, there was no response whatsoever from ICICI Fastag which made me to contact their Customer Care over phone. After waiting for 8 minutes an Executive spoke and informed me that, the Fastag for LCV can not be booked online and it can be bought only across the counters. If this was the case so, why then the my registration was booked online? More shocking is that, there is no Email id to contact For Fastag related queries. When an application is pending for some reasons, applicant is not been informed the reason for holding the application. Not only this, ICICI don’t even have system to reverse the amount back to payment source of the Applicant and applicant has to give the Bank details over phone to get back his payments. Added to all these miseries, none of the Customer Care Executive is aware of their own system. One Executive said, the amount will be reversed to the payment source and other says, no such system exists. And finally, even after a month, after contacting customer care for 5 times, I have still not received my money back from ICICI Fastag. Is this called Service ? There are service providers who are issuing the Fastag within 48 hrs. And this kind of third class service by ICICI is not expected and is not fit for Fastag service!
