I'm Ramesh V, I have been with icici bank since 2014. Each year 826/- rs is deducted from my account without any alert message. I'm not using any demat account and the representative didn't inform any charges while opening account. But still this charges are applied and debited from my account. Dmc/ dp chgs till Jan-2021 is shown in the statement. So please make sure to credit the amount which has been debited so far.

    On 24.02.2021, an amount of Rs 275.33 has been deducted from my ICICI account as DP CHGS TILL JAN-21 and it seems it's related to the depository charges. But I have been told from ICICI that there would not be any charges for holding/maintaining a Demat account with ICICI. Also, I don't do any trading with the ICICI Demat account for the last 3 years. A bank like ICICI should not do these kinds of cheap activities. I am going to close my Demat account with ICICI

        I am Busetty Apuroop, an mount of 683 rupees has been deducted from my account in the name of dp chgs from Nov 20 to Oct 21

        I have never activated and used my demat account and most importantly i don't even know that i hold a icici demat account till now. There was no prior notice of deduction and i haven't received any deduction message.

            Which sort of bank is it? That don’t even ask for consult customer and make the deduction on their basis

              Hello Sir,

              I have already D-Link my icic direct account from the bank several month ago but today I have seen that you guys have deducted 826 Rs/- from my account directly without any notice.

              From 1 year I never ever used that account for trading or anything and after deduction I did try to login in my account but it is not active now. Then why are you deduct 826Rs.from my account.I don't understand anything regarding this deduction.

              Request you to please refund my money as soon as possible.

              Due to this deduction i have unable to purchase my medicin that was very needy for me I'm just a student.please help me out.

                      The 826.00 rs has been deducted from my account as (DMC/IN[protected] DP CHGS TILL JAN-21) on 24-feb-2021. I have never used my demat account till now.

                      The icici representative told me that it is free of cost and it will never be charged/deduct money and also i did not get any deduction message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici.

                      I need justice and return my money back immediately. My account number - [protected].This is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount.

                          Today i found ICICI bank deducted Rs 1899 from my savings account. Upon asking customer care they said the bank had deducted from my account due to my consent to join for some scheme. Further they said that few days ago somebody would have talked to me about this scheme. i asked her to show any evidence of my consent to join any scheme in any written form . Obviously i am had not consented for any scheme by paying some money.

                          Let me explain how they manage to take your money under some pretext.

                          Few days back some one called me and said they are calling from ICICI ( At that stage i even had a doubt whether they are really from ICICI or some fraud, so i wanted to get away as soon as possible) He was speaking at super fast speed talking about some scheme. In between he kept asking me whether it is clear to me. I am so bored and only way i could get away from him is to say " it is clear' At no stage he said that i have to pay Rs 1899, nor i said at any stage that i am willing to join in any scheme,
                          Then few minutes later some one called me and asked whether i had understood . So i said it is clear. That is all .

                          after few days i found today that money is deducted, and citing the above incident as my consent.
                          It is beyond my comprehension where i consented to join any scheme.

                          The customer care agreed to withdraw my name from scheme and they will intimate me in 6 working days. i wonder what would have happened if i had not seen email or saw it after a few days.

                          My complaint is
                          1) ICICI intentionally spoke in such a manner to make the victim to say something .
                          2 they never said explicitely that rs 1899 is the fee for the scheme.

                          3 ) Though i had not agreed to join any scheme, i could have agreed also if the scheme is just a benefit, without any payment from me. And same scheme i could have refused to join if the details of payment is made clear.
                          So the way they treat as my consent is nothing short of cheating the customer. If they are so honest they could have sent an email about the scheme and attach a agreement paper or ask me to transfer the money.

                          4) how any bank can deduct money from anyone's account without the real consent either through system or through some paper.
                          I wonder whether it is allowed in the Indian banking law.!

                          5) If the bank is sure that i made the consent then let them show any of the voice recording of their chat with me.

                            Sir namaste. My name is Vijaya Kumar Mannava. Sir in December 2020 icici bank employ has told me to pay the minimum amount of 52690/- after receiving payment we will convert into EMI. After payment they don't give proper reply and not converted into EMI also. Since December i had send so many emails and had conversations with bank employees. Now today they send me converted EMI message. But since December they had levied late fee charges, interest and other charges also. If they converted into EMI in December I will pay time to time as per schedule. It is their fault and now they had thrown burden on me. Pls resolve this issue as soon as possible.

                              Hi,

                              I am trying to reach icici bank to get resolved my queries regarding multiwallet card.

                              I work with tcs and they have provided me with multiwallet food card. I am not getting proper assistance from bank regarding whom to contact in case i forgot my username.

                              I had received a message to send address details as the chi card will be expired as per RBI guidelines, after that i haven't received any update from bank.

                              Helpline numbers does not have service for multiwallet card. My money is stuck in this card.

                              Looking for a positive reply on this and in hope that both my concerns will be acted upon.

                                I would like to bring it to your notice that, the amount of rs199/- has been deducted from my icici account and the transaction message says vsi*amazon st. Neither had I done any transaction nor did I get any otp during the transaction. Neither I am a prime member thinking to be auto renewal. Amount was debited on 24th Feb, 2021 at 3 AM. Could you please assist me regarding this. Please find the attachment regarding the same.

                                      I am Arun holding a salary account at ICICI bank. From my account RS 826/- has been deducted as DMC/DP CHGS till Dec 2020 on 28-Jan-2021. I haven't received any deduction message/SMS to my mobile and came to know about the deduction while checking the bank statement. I have never requested for or activated a Demat account with ICICI bank.
                                      I had given a written complaint on the same to the ICICI Bank Branch, but I have not received any update on the complaint till now. Even i have dropped mail to [protected]@icicidirect.com.

                                      I haven't asked for a demat account and without my knowledge how the same was created against my salary account.

                                      This is done without my knowledge and I want my money back.

                                      Now I am worried about the security of my money with ICICI bank. If i am not getting help on this issue I am planning to close my salary account.

                                      I have email my complaint to the [protected]@icicidirect.com. They have raised a service request for the same. And they have asked me to share the demat account closure form and once the Demat account is closed the AMC Charges will be refunded to your linked savings bank account on Pro-rata basis.

                                      How come a demat account is opened without my consent and AMC has been charged against the same. Now they are saying refund will be based on pro-rata basis.

                                      Also i have shared the demat account closure form and still i can see the account status as active.

                                      And the surprising part is when i followed up for update with [protected]@icicidirect.com, they are saying the service request is closed by saying "someone had tried to contact me via phone and i was not reachable".

                                      I dont know what to do, demat account closure form given and i want the full AMC charge refunded.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                                        This is regarding a ECS charges Rs 40000 debited from account XXXXXXXX4092 on 28/01/2021 .When I reached out to ICICI bank for the resolution, they are saying HDB has presented 30+ times from June 2020 to Jan 2020 even though I availed the moratorium and Restructuring.
                                        I availed the moratorium from all of the lenders which I have borrowed, but end of the day Rs 40000 debited from my ICICI bank account on the name of ECS charges .I asked you many times to provide the ECS details but no response from ICICI. You are only targeting for non reversal of ECS charges, for which you are trying the tricks in many ways, but ultimately same response on the first day of my issue and even after 20 days of the service request. What is the use of service request? Just to delay my issue?

                                        I know registered billers presented the ECS, but my issue is I already availed the Moratorium from respective lenders and registered billers saying they have not levied any charges, but why this torture from ICICI or let me know what do you require from my end in order to reverse the ECS charges ? ICICI is making the mess here by not sharing adequate details.

                                        I lost 40 thousand rupees but ICICI is taking it in very light manner, please tell me what do you require for reversal of these charges ?

                                        Dear Team,

                                        I have raised 100s of complaints with ICICI and Ombudsman, but I haven't received any favorable response. Check SR[protected] for the email communication[protected].

                                        Check Ombudsman complaints : [protected]/[protected]. I lost the 40 thousand rupees on the name of ECS charges . Where the billers saying that they have not levied any charges from their end and you are telling that Billers represented IT. 40 thousand rupees not an small amount . I have been facing the issues on every process since lockdown started. Really you are driving me to end my life . You are taking my hard earned money on form of charges. You are killing me literally .
