I purchased a second hand car and the first owner (Anurup Gupta, Cust. Id :[protected] of car was using ICICI bank fastag, which was blacklisted. First owner closed his fastag account, but the bank did not removed it from blacklist with NPCI (Govt authority).
Unaware of all these, after purchasing this car, I purchased a new ICICI fastag with Customer id : 12534407.I recharged it by 1400/- but find my new tag also blacklisted and without serial number. I placed a request of blacklist removal on 20/12/2020 (complaint no. [protected]).
After that I called on call centre of icici bank fastag helpline number 100 times. But these people kept my vehicle DL10CK5779 in blacklist. They closed old account but not removed it from blacklist with ncpi. (Govt authority) therefore reactivation of any new fastag is not possible. I want to activate new tag but unable to do so due to very poor service from ICICI bank.
This is the personal vehicle and from 15th feb 2021 it is going to get mandatory for all vehicles otherwise they will charge double. But if icici bank taking so much time to clear it then how can i manage to activate new fastag. Please revert as early as possible.
