Have a demat account in icici bank for 2 years now. When i checked my bank transactions and i found that there is one debit transaction 'dmc/in[protected] dp chgs till oct-17' — inr 826.00. When i created the demat account, i was not told about the dp charges, it was told me by the icici representative that it is free of cost and it will never be charged and also i did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with icici. My icici account number is[protected]. This is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount. My phone number is [protected].

We would like to inform you that we have received the application for opening of a Demat Account duly completed and signed in all respects under Basic Service demat account (BSDA) category, based on which the captioned Demat Account was opened on October 24, 2016. We acknowledge the receipt of your e-mail regarding Demat Account.

We would like to inform you that we have received the application for opening of a Demat Account duly completed and signed in all respects under Basic Service demat account (BSDA) category, based on which the captioned Demat Account was opened on October 24, 2016.

Under this scheme, value of Securities held in the Demat Account shall not exceed Rupees Two Lakhs at any point of time. If the value of holding in such BSDA exceeds the prescribed criteria at any date, the DPs may levy charges as applicable to regular accounts (non-BSDA) from that date onwards.

Charges:

    I am raising this complaint as icici bank i have been associated with this bank for more than 5 years now and there was fraud deduction by airtel pooling account with my details which the bank mentioned and the bank refuses to revert the money back and investigate this instead of this the bank has closed the request and the complaint that i raised without letting me know the reason.
    When i called the bank they are telling me that the account deduction was authentic and it cannot be reverted.

    I got a ICICI gift card from one of my friend and am not able to activate it.
    Tried a lot to contact the customer care, but there was no response from their side.
    I would like the company to fix it as soon as possible to replace it with a new one.

      This is with ref. To credit card no. ([protected]) in the name of punit kumar.
      I strongly oppose the late payment charges and interest charges levied to us as, we have always paid the money on time and it was only because we had not received any statement on our e mail or either hard copy or any information of any sort. Thus if the irregularity is on your side why should i become the victim of it. Had we received any sort of information we would have paid the money. Please look into the matter and do the needful. I request you to please reverse this fees or block my card.

      But question is that if call was not landing to your customer care then how could you possible to balance deducted from my main account.
      I know that the helpline number is chargeable but query is that if call was not landing then how can it charges

            I have recharged my jio no through upi to indiaideas but my balance has deducted but my jio no has didn't get recharged. When i verify with jio customer excutive they told that they didn't get the payment.

            This charging was valid for 3 months. Yesterday i was told by jio that they have not received any payment from me.

            Please check at your end and refund the same to my vpa.

              On nov-30th, 826.01 rupees has been debited from my icici savings bank account with out any prior notice. Once in august also, 137 rupees deducted from my account. I dont know why are they deducting it with my input. I have never requested the icici bank to create demat account. It was created automatically and deducting money. I want justice and icici bank should stop doing fraudulent activities

                  This is inform to you that, 1500/- less physically received from jais (Amethi) branch icici bank atm, near pnb bank
                  7500/- received instead 9000/- on 27.11.2017 at 12:52pm, shown to atm security guard and bank person also, no any action taken by the bank till date.
                  Complaints registere not found in the atm/bank, hence i received one hard copy of complaints, it's written by me.

                    I clearly informed not to enroll me in this as i already have a zerodha account and havn't got any email confirmation too on this.

                      I'd joined dnb two years ago and specifically told the agent not to open a demat account. He had taken signature on demat form without informing me. When i got to know about it i did not submit a cancelled cheque to him and still it was opened i don't know how!

                      And the fraudulent bank, icici, has been charging me dp charges for two years now. This year i got charged 826rs while i've been repetitively asked them to shut it since it was opened fraudulently. I want a refund of this debit transaction right away.

                          Bank has charged some amount on the name of dp charges, last year they deducted amount and i complained to close the account. They informed that account will be closed. Again they charged the amount for same reason. I am not using dmat account, also when opened by representative, he mentioned its free of cost. Even after requesting a closure also bank is acting like this.

                            I am having a normal icici saving account which was made through my work place. Suddenly a deduction of rs. 285.24/- has taken place. On researching it shows that it is some dp charges.

                            — what is dp charges??
                            This dp charges is a source of revenue to the depositories (Cdsl & nsdl) & its participants. Similar to how exchanges charge transaction fee, depositories & depository participant (Dp) charge dp charge whenever you sell any shares from demat account. —

                            I have never created any demat account. How can such deduction happen.
                            This is a complete disappointment from icici bank. Have lost trust on you guys... Will never suggest anyone for icici bank

                              Hi team,

                              826 rs are deducted from my account for dp charges. As per my knowledge, this deductions are related to demat account.

                              Initially icici representatives told that, there will not be any charges for this account, and without any prior notice, balance is deducted from my account. Please revert the amount or please arrange call for same.

                                I had issued a cheque (576730) of inr 950/- towards payment of cable charges to orbit ii. Icici has deducted an amount of inr 95000/- from my account on 27th november 2017. I have been running from pillar to post trying to speak to their customer care number and the bank branches but the only response i get from them is that the complaint has been registered and it will take 2 days. I have been getting the same response from 28th november till date. There seems to be no resolution in sight. Also i had requested for a cheque retrieval and they are refusing to give me the scanned copy of the retrieved cheque as well. I have lost on on the interest as well for this amount. Pathetic service by icici bank.

                                  I have demat account since 2015. When opening the account, they said it is absolutely free and no annual charges. But now they have deducted 118/- and there is no intimation via sms, email. It only reflects in the transaction history. Kindly provide an explanation, if this is the case let me know and i will close the account and go for other free demat providers.

                                  How Could ICICI bank...debiting accounts without intimating the custometr..it is by chance i saw this entry and checked on Net.. ther may be thousands of customers who would never know this debit has been done in their accounts...Manoj

                                      I recharged my jio number for an amount of153/- on november 29 using myjio app by paytm app which already have paytm cash 80.50 rs.
                                      The recharge was unsuccessful.
                                      My paytm cash of 80.50 is still in cart but however rest of amount 72.50 rs was deducted from my account.

                                      Kindly check and refund the amount asap.

                                        In a litigation filed by me in consumer forum (Chennai south) against a wrong credit card statement by icici bank, i won the case and the court ordered for a compensation of rs 10000 towards mental agony and rs 3000 towards complaint charges. This verdict was given in 15th october 2008. The bank has not paid both the compensation and the complaint charges yet and they are sending communications through sms and their intermediate agencies to pay the amount mentioned in the wrong credit card statement. My lawyer is keeping the original copy of the verdict with him and not taking any action against the bank or trying to provide a solution. I am attaching the scanned copy of the verdict herewith. Kindly give me a solution for this problem.

                                        Today (15/12/17) I was continuously getting calls from no's[protected], 49088777, 49088792, 49088716, 49088796, 49088731. When I attended to the phone they (intermediate agencies) were asking me to pay the money. In the previous instances also they were not ready to listen about the court case and the judgement. In between my busy duties as a medical professional I am disturbed like this regularly. I feel this kind of arrogant acts by a bank won't happen anywhere in the world other than India.
