A bunch of thieves who talk like icici bank executives try to use your credit card details to make online transactions. They first attract you by saying you have reward points that you need to redeem/encash and ask for some bank information without which they cannot help redeem/encash rewards to your account.
At first, the call sounds genuine..
I received a call from one such number just half an hour back, and am shocked that i was just a few clicks away from being swindled of money from my account. Thankfully, good sense prevailed and i released i was being fooled.
They will ask for your credit card number, csv number (3 digit number) in the back of your card and otp details if you get any sms - they will use your credit card number and csv to make the purchase. If you give them your otp number, they can successfully complete the transaction and buy what they want with your money.
I found a list of complains where people have been victim to this credit card fraud. The cases listed against a vendor called moto_tpls is very similar to the rewards point story i was told - https://www.complaintboard.in/…/moto-tpsl-sbipg-l445818. Html
I got a call from the following numbers, so beware:
[protected], [protected], [protected].
A girl called khushi mishra called first, and then she transferred the call to her manager, a senior verification officer (It seems.. Huh!).
When confronted by asking for their bonafides, they didn't respond. When told that a police complaint will be lodged, they disconnected the call and the number was not reachable soon after. Both callers spoke good hindi and english. They had a distinct north indian accent.

I got this call last week and week before that and now another one today. I thought it was high time i bring it to the notice of icici bank.

    I have attempted to transfer fund to my brother account number holding account with hdfc bank. I have 2 hdfc payee accounts in my profile. One is my brother and other one is hdfc bank internal accounts to pay any late fee for delayed emis. While selecting the account number, i have selected an incorrect account number as my brother's account and the fund of rs.45000/-have been credited to that account ([protected]). The account details of fund transferred are given below for your reference. The amount was transferred on
    5 aug 2017. I request you to review and reverse the erroneous made transfer. Please let me know if any other information is needed.

      This has ref. To three complaints numbered sr[protected], sr[protected], sr[protected] dated 16/07/2017, 20/07/2017 and 04/08/2017 regarding fraud transactions done on 15/07/2017 via credit card numbered [protected].

      First customer complaint manager assured that no amount will be charged from self regarding these transactions as complaint is filled before 3 days. Now bank is charging inr 2000 approx. For mar up fee, igst and balance amount.

      Bank is not ready to resolve the complaint raised for the same on aug-04, 2017. You are requested to take necessary action against the wilful defaulter.

          Icici bank — deactivate one assist plan of icici bank

          I also received call from icici bank and they just given information about one assist plan after than they automatically activated this plan and deducted rs-1899/- from my saving a/c. Without my permission. I don't need this plan actually. Please deactivate this plan and refund my money.

          I purchase petol of ₹1000.00 from Yadav Motor on 7/08/2017 7.52.29am through ICICI bank Debit card.
          ₹29.50 has been debited on 11/8/2017 for this transaction which should not have been as per petroleum minister government of India.
          Such charges are detrimental for going digital or cashless.

          Please refund the same on top priority

            Then i tried again and booked again which was successful... But the money deducted for failed transaction is not refunded.

              A/c no. 1 was settled for rs2, 20, 000 for five installments and paid as under:
              22.09.10 rs44000 paid
              11.10.10 rs.44000/paid
              13.11.10 rs.44000/- paid
              10.12.10 rs.44000/paid
              23.04.11 rs.44000/paid all payments was collected by your officer mr. Parbhakar mob 98366661 or by his staff. I pointed out for delay due to some reason to mr. Parbhakar and he assured that he would take care for delay and i should not got worried. After payment there was no objection for this delay nor any letter etc. Positively every things was in order as assured by mr. Parbhakar.

              The problem started after settling the account for a/c no.2 for rs.66650/- in by mr. Sandip sarkar mob. No.[protected]. He came to my office and settled the account for rs.66650/ and collected the cheque as under
              Recpt[protected] dt 28.11.12 for 38000/- on canara bank dtd.28.11.12 cleared & another recpt no. [protected] dt 28.11.12 for rs.28650/- of ici bank a/c no.[protected] as against available bal 38658.30 as per bank statement dtd. 20.11.12. This cheque was dishonoured as the entire fund was transferred to a/c no.1 and both the account was disturbed. I spoken mr. Sarkar about this and also mr. Parbhakar. Mr sarkar assured to take care for this and get the amount revert back to my account and adjust accordingly for a/c no.2.
              After some time mr. Sarkar regretted as his say did not carry any value & weight.

              Now i, senior citizen of 73 years old, oftenly being disturbed by your bank without having any fault of mine. Whereas a credit to be reflected to my account of rs.10008/[protected]. Being old man i do not have any source of income and already in deep trouble. As such this matter to be closed reflecting credit to my a/c of rs.10008/-

                I have applied for the rights issue for 653 shares (153 eligible + 500
                Additional) submitted the application on 8th september along with cheque
                No. 667329 dt 06/09/2016 drawn on icici bank for rs 42445/-
                It is almost a year now and the cheque status shows un-used but no
                Information regarding the allotment.
                Hence i had written to my relationship manager at icici direct. He
                Suggested to check with customer care.
                I spoke to customer care - they directed me to check with vashi branch;
                Where i had submitted the application.

                In the mean time i wrote to shares department of sintex ind. - they
                Replied that they haven't received the application & asked me to check
                With bank where i have submitted the application. Hence i approached the vashi branch about a month ago contacted miss
                Priyal contact no [protected].
                Even after repeated follow-up no seriousness is visible, moreover no
                Commitment on resolve the issue & provide me the necessary trail of my
                Application.

                My request is very simple -
                1. Provide me details that the application is submitted to sintex ind.
                For further process from their end. So that it can be taken up with sintex
                Ind.
                In absence of that
                2. Pl ensure that i get 653 shares of sintex ind & equivalent of sintex
                Plastics (Post de-merger)

                Since there is no response from vashi branch, i have no option but to
                Escalate the matter to higher authoriteis.
                But customer care has responded that i have 889 shares in my dmat a/c. But those are due to my original holding of 889 shares. Customer care offecer menika singh has not even red the complaint details & conveniently avoided the main question of rights issue application for 653 shares

                  I would like to bring to everyone's attention the absolutely hopeless service i recieved from icici bank

                  I opened an account after which i was asked if i wanted a demat account for which i agreed

                  The representative came collected data asked for a transfer of transaction of ten lakh rupees which i did inmidiately and left since then it's been a month i have been following up regularly for which i get absolutely no response sometimes my calls are just cut curtly i can't believe a bang as big as icici treats their customers in such a fashion i am totally appalled and would expect a bank like icici to have personnel who are better trained to do their job properly and better response to their customers

                    Dear team,

                    This is serious issue. I have got call saying that you have not redeemed your points and we are going to convert redeemed points to cash. And they have all my card details with personnel record. They have done transaction of 8000 from my credit card account this is absolutely wrong. First of all, how they got my details. Pls register complaint against this no : [protected].

                    They have confirmed my card details & money got deducted from account. On call, they have given complete identity about icici bank employee.
                    I am going to close icici bank credit card soon if icici bank is known for such frauds.
                    @all : dont take icici bank cards as more frauds are being registered against bank

                    What about my transaction amount that has been deducted? Is it not your bank responsibility to trace who has done it?

                    Do you refund amount for fraud transaction ? ... Because, i got SMS from ICICI bank that somebody is trying to misuse your card so your bank agree to the point that somebody is doing fraud transaction... Ideally, i should be refunded with amount that has been transacted ..

                      I'm not a icici bank customer care back account member. I got call from the icici customer care number ambattur and i asked her how you got my personal details and the girl used bad words continuously and keep on torturing by calling again and again and abusing. I can't tolerate this and i called back and i wanna raise complaint to the manager but they are not connecting the call. She was using all the bad word towards me. Please look into it. Im scared that she may use my personal profile in wrong way.
                      Is there is no watch for them to look how they are behaving. Seriously if it wouldn't receive the response from your side i will post the voice recorder in social media.
                      And i don't know how she got all my personal information without my knowledge. Seriously it's not easy thing to move on. Please look into this this seriously.

The company activated the plan with out my permission and they have deducted rs.1399 from my credit card with out my knowledge. This is an illegal activity.                                 I did payment transaction in https://eazypay.icicibank.com/ towards delhi public school miyapur amount rs.27486 for admission number m16/0097 on 8/8/2017 12:31 with rbl bank credit card ending with 1231 (Rbl transaction id 383528) but transaction got failed due to network issue and amount got deducted from the card. I waited till 16th august and found that invoice is still open. So i did one more payment transaction for the same through net banking.

                                Now almost 10days over but failed transaction amount not refunded to the rbl credit card. I checked with rbl bank they confirmed that amount deducted but not yet refund.

                                Please do the needful to refund amount 27486.

                                Issue already reported to to [protected]@icicibank.com and [protected]@icicibank.com; but did not get any response.

                                  Sir today i gone to icici bank branch to credit some rupee but some notes bundles was of 10₹ & dupty manager say that i can't take 10₹ note for 15day becz i have lots of 10₹ notes bundles. I says that to sir, it's urgent so pls take the ₹ but he can't & says you have urgent than you close your a/c form our bank & his behaviour to badly.. Pls say what can i do.. Pls help

                                    I have closed my credit card almost a year ago, but still the statement is getting produced... As well as last month my friend has dropped some amount wrongly in the closed credit card. It got deposited..

                                    But i am not able to use it, because it is a blocked card, but in my account is showing & they cant transfer to saving account.. Now there is a statement getting produced...

                                      My salary account is running at bareilly branch (Civil lines) by name of narayan pratap (Acc no[protected], i withdraw the rs 5000.00 on 12-08-17 but account is debited and cash not withdrawn from atm so i complaint as mentioned in subject line yet the amount is not recredited in my account and feeling help less as 6 days is passed over.                                         I have withdrawn 10000 money from bank of baroda atm, maduvinkarai on 7th aug. I couldn't get the money. I have raised a compliant in icici bank (Sr[protected].
                                        But those people are not responding properly. 11 days completed they are saying still ticket is in open status only.

                                        They are not even answered properly. I dont know how to proceed futher. Can u please check and assist. We are from poor background and this is my salary. Please do the needful.
